There are many different ways in which individuals lead. Whether implicit or by choice, the
style and the way it is applied can lead to success or failure in the workplace. My boss and I
approach leadership in completely different ways. While my boss leans toward only a
transactional style, specifically Laissez faire, or management by exception, I prefer a combination
of transactional and translational styles. According to Robbins and Judge (2012), Laissez faire is
the most passive and therefore least effective of leader behaviors (Robbins Judge, 2012, p. 382).
Additionally, management by exception is somewhat better, however it remains one of the weakest

Jean Baptiste de Lamarck and Charles Darwin were two of the most notable evolutionary scientists
in history. While Lamarck was known for his theory of inheritance by acquired characteristics,
Darwin was also respectfully known for his theory of evolution by natural selection. While they did

mass of connective tissue. A chunk of collagen forms a bond between the claw s sharp point and

Harvard s Museum of Comparative Zoology says that claws are not coated in keratin, like all
other known claws in the vertebrae world, (Science Blogs, 2008). When the frog is threatened,
they flex a muscle that connects to the lower half of the claw. This severs the connection to a
nodule and pulls the claw downward. The claw which is made of reinforced and thickened bone,
pierces the frog s own skin and through the skin of the toe, (National Geographic, 2008). David

Dream Closet Teamwork
During my time volunteering with Dream Closet I have learned so much about team work. In
order for our team to provide a big event for those in need to receive free donated clothes we need
to be able to work as a whole. There is so much to do in order to have an event this big. We need
to be able to fundraise together, have donation events, and be able to work together and find time to
sort clothes. This is besides the fact of promoting our organization, planning meetings, getting
decorations, design of the event, getting all the small things, and more. Teamwork is important with
such a small group of girls to have a successful event was that each girl needed to take control
weather that meant promoting, making signs, searching for sponsors,
