Christian Doctrine And The Doctrine Of A New Testament
THE POLEMICISTS
As the apostle passed from the scene, other leaders arose in the church to take their place. These
leaders are fathers because of the esteem in which they were held by loyal church members. They
were call bishops and had authority over an area to maintain discipline the church. These fathers can
be classified in certain times or divided into four groups. The first groups would be the apostolic
fathers, the apologists, the Polemicists, and the scientific theologians.
As like the rest of the early church fathers, The Polemicists raised up to defend the faith. Their
reaction by concern church fathers against the action of the heretic let to the development of Christian
doctrine and the formulation of a New Testament Canon. They fought the heresies that were damaging
the church. In refuting error, they used much of the New Testament as the source of the true doctrine.
The work of the Polemicists also gave rise to the concept of an orthodox catholic church which was
opposed to heresy. While most of the Apologists were from the East, most of the Polemicists were
from the West. The Eastern mind was more concerned with speculative theology, whereas the Western
mind was concerned with church organization and practical doctrine for solving problems. These were
the Polemicists. Irenaeus (A.D. 120 202): Irenaeus was born in Smyrna and later moved to Lyons in
Gaul, now France, where he became bishop. He wrote Against Heresies in five books, in which he

The Creative Decision Making in a Documentary Production
This journal inspects the importance of creative decision making in various aspects of documentary
production, examines whether those decisions help to make the film an engaging cinematic piece, and
explores the influences it might have on the society, the cinema and the subject, in relation to my own
experience in producing a 15min documentary film Hackney Pirates, and my understandings of
relevant practice from the contemporary cinema.
Introduction
Films about education for children in critical situations have been seen in cinema since the 1990s. For
example, Zhang Yimou s 1999 film Not One Less tells a story about a teenage girl Wei Minzhi who
volunteers to teach in a one room primary school and her relationships with the pupils. And ... Show

Slightly frustrated at first, we realised that the interviews are actually not as necessary as in Être et
Avoir on a second thought, in that the theme of Être et Avoir also includes the teacher s devotion to his
pupils, while Hackney Pirates is purely about the children s learning experience, which satisfies the
objectives of Hackney Pirates; moreover, the volunteer training session facilitated by one of the
founders as part of the narrative structure we ve planned can provide essential information of the
organisation.
The opening
Être et Avoir opens with a scene of tough labour work and living conditions in a rural farm, followed
by a montage sequence of a classroom with warm and cheerful décor. The warm interior in contrast to
the cold exterior emphasizes on the light and positive tone of the film, which consequently helps to
attract the viewers attention and keeps them engaged in the following sequences.
Inspired by the opening sequence of Être et Avoir, we wanted to open the film with a train passing by
city landscape and finally arriving at Haggerston Overground station where Hackney Pirates is based.
At first, the director was not sure about what exactly she was expecting from the shot, whether just the
train passing by city landscape would be enough as an introduction or we have to let it come to a stop
i.e. Haggerston in order to provide extra geographic information. We travelled many times on the train
between Shoreditch

The Pros And Cons Of Suicide Terrorism
Suicide terrorism does not always have to be an attack on the United States from a different country
with different cultural values. Suicide terrorism can come from American citizens. More current
events are mass shootings by American citizens against their own people. One event is the attack on
Sandy Hook Elementary. This attack was where Adam Lanza started by killing his own mother, and
then moved on to Sandy Hook Elementary where he took the lives of Twenty children and six adults
(Connecticut Shootings Fast Facts, 2017, para. 2). After this act of violence, Adam Lanza committed
suicide. Another more recent mass shooting attack was the mass shooting in Las Vegas. This attack
was carried out by Stephen Paddock. Stephen Paddock, in his attack killed 58 and wounded around
500 people before taking his own life (Yan, Park, 2017). Whether suicide terrorism is being used by
domestic or foreign enemies, the message is clear. They want to hurt innocent people but at the same
time scare the rest of the American people. Also, after these attacks many political battles were
pushed. Whether it be going to war with another country, or making far stricter laws to possess a
firearm and to outlaw certain types of fire arms. These political battles have sparked many debates
among the American people. It seems with the loss of innocent lives, certain groups in America try to
use this to push their own personal views of what America should do to prevent any further acts.

Confucianism Essay
Confucianism
Confucianism is a moral and religious system of China. Its origins go back to the Analects, the sayings
attributed to Confucius, and to ancient writings, including that of Mencius. Confucius was born a
mandarin under the name Kongzi. It was developed around 550 B.C. In its earliest form Confucianism
was primarily a system of ethical concepts for the control of society. It saw man as a social creature
that is bound to his fellow men by jen, or humanity. Jen is expressed through the five relationships
sovereign and subject, parent and child, elder and younger brother, husband and wife, and friend and
friend. Of these, the filial relation is most important.

The practice of offering sacrifices and other rituals to Confucius in special shrines began in the 1st
century A.D. and continued into the 20th century.
Confucianism has often had to contend with other religious systems, mainly Taoism and Buddhism. It
has also suffered declines, especially from the 3rd to 7th century. It had a renaissance period in the late
T ang dynasty. It was not until the Sung dynasty and the appearance of neo Confucianism that
Confucianism became the dominant philosophy among educated Chinese.
Using Taoist and Buddhist ideas, neo Confucian thinkers formulated a system of metaphysics, which
had not been a part of older Confucianism. They were particularly influenced by Ch an, or Zen
Buddhism. Nevertheless they rejected the Taoist search for immortality and Buddhist ethical
universalistic teachings, keeping instead the political and social vision of the early Confucian
teachings. In 479 B.C. the government made it part of the civil service examination.
The neo Confucian teachings were unified and established as orthodoxy by Chu Hsi and his system
dominated Chinese intellectual life. His metaphysics is based on the concept of li, or principle of form,
and the combination of these, called the supreme ultimate. During the Ming dynasty, the idealist
school of Wang Yang ming stressed meditation and knowledge. The overthrow of the monarchy, with

Incorporation of Information Technology Solutions Essay
Due to dramatic changes in organisational management, technology plays an important role in today
business environment. According to Groomer Murthy (1989) incorporation of information technology
solutions are becoming increasingly important for all businesses in order to operate successfully. One
way that many businesses have implemented information technology on a large scale (Groomer
Murthy, 1989) is by setting up Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to achieve their business
transaction and data processing needs. According to the business need, selecting the appropriate
information system such as Enterprise resource planning (ERP) will be appropriate and suitable

And it is the tool that facilitates the business not only to nourish its operation but also flourish its
profits and growth (Zhua et al., 2010). Additionally Kumar Hillegersberg (2000, p. 22) has defined
ERP systems as configurable information systems packages that integrate information and information
based processes within and cross functional areas in an organization .
Enterprise resource planning software such as Oracle and SAP is highly effective tools to manage and
analyse the multidimensional aspects of businesses such as financials, operations and corporate
services, human capital management, etc. (Priyadarshini, 2002). A company using the ERP financial
products (Priyadarshini, 2002) can save a lot of money over the long term and the organization s
productivity will be improved. Furthermore Morris (2011) suggested that those firms which are
implementing ERP systems are less likely to report internal control weaknesses compared to non ERP
implementing firms. However Kwasi Salam (2004) noted that ERP implementation is very risky as it
requires large amount of investments and significant organisational resources.

What Are Mismatched Friendships In Of Mice And Men
re are many similarities between the film Shrek and the novela Of Mice and Men. Three categories
that I have examples for are, mismatched friendships, antagonists, and the role of women. The first
category is mismatched friendships. In Shrek, Donkey tags around with Shrek like Lennie tags around
with George in Of Mice and Men. Also they both have their bad moments in each story. In Shrek,
Donkey and Shrek are fighting and arguing all the time, but they still have good, friendly moments,
such as the one when they were laying on the ground looking at the stars and constellations together.
Also another example when he tells him not to come near his house, and he ends up letting him sleep
on the doorstep, and then inside. In Of Mice and Men, Lennie and George are usually nice to each
other, but sometimes when Lennie does something dumb or screws up, George will get frustrated and
tell him he wishes he would go away, or that he wasn t there with him, then he wouldn t have to take
care of him and that he could have an easier life. An example is on page 13, when George says to
Lennie, No, look! I was just foolin Lennie, cause I do want you to stay with me! George just got done
yelling at Lennie and telling him how he wishes that sometimes he wouldn t be with him so that he
could go out and live a normal life and do things with his money, instead of getting in trouble, taking
care of Lennie, and having to move all of the time. He felt bad after he did that, because Lennie

Essay on Procter Gamble Rely Tampons Case Study
Abstract
The purpose of this research paper is that to present the difficulties Procter amp; Gamble faced in the
early 1980¡¦s due to a correlation between the company¡¦s Rely tampon and the disease Toxic Shock
Syndrome (TSS). Also, how the company handled the findings before and after new laws were passed
by Congress giving the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) the authority to regulate medical
devices, which included tampons. Thereafter, I will analyze the ethical issues relevant to this case
within a SWOT analysis.

around 110,000 people in nearly 80 countries and markets over 300 products worldwide with a net
income of $5.66 billion.
Company Background
Procter amp; Gamble¡¦s major competitors begun marketing tampons as early as the 1930¡¦s. In 1972 a
ban to advertise sanitary products on television was lifted. Seeing this and the preference of women to
use tampons, thus becoming a highly competitive market, P amp;G decides to enter this market in the
early 1970¡¦s. Enters the Rely tampon. By 1980, this tampon had acquired 20% of the market. In
January 1980, twelve (12) cases of TSS were reported to the federal Centers for Disease Control
(CDC). TSS begins suddenly, its symptoms are vomiting, high fever, rapid drop in blood pressure,
diarrhea, headache, sore throat and muscle aches. After 24 hours a rash appears which is sunburn like.
On days 3 and 4 of the disease, broken blood vessels appear in the skin, along with confusion, fatigue
and weakness and weak and rapid pulse. The disease can cause kidney dysfunction, liver failure, can
be deadly and needs immediate treatment (Klein, 2004). TSS was first

Phloem Study Guide
(5 pts) 1. Describe the pressure flow model of translocation in the phloem. Does water move down its
water potential gradient in this model? (4 5 sentences max.) The flow is driven by an osmotically
generated pressure gradient between the source and the sink. The translocation pathway has cross
walls that allow water to move between the xylem and phloem. At the source phloem loading causes
high solute concentrations. Pressure decreases, so water flows into the cells increasing pressure. At the
sink pressure is lower outside the cell due to unloading of sucrose. Osmotic loss of water releases
hydrostatic pressure. Water movement is driven by pressure gradient and not osmosis.

PRINCIPLE OF GENERATION, TRANSMISSION AND DISTRIBUTION OF HIGH AC
VOLTAGES
INTRODUCTION
The potential benefits of electrical energy supplied to a number of consumers from a common
generating system were recognized shortly after the development of the dynamo , commonly known
as the generator. The first public power station was put into service in 1882 in London (Holborn).
Soon a number of other public supplies for electricity followed in other developed countries. The early
systems produced direct current at low voltage, but their service was limited to highly localized areas
and was used mainly for electric lighting. The limitations of d.c. transmission at low voltage became
readily apparent. By 1890 the art in the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The secondary distribution system contains overhead lines or underground cables supplying the
consumers directly (houses, light industry, shops, etc.) by single or three phase power. Separate,
dedicated primary feeders supply industrial customers requiring several megawatts of power. The sub
transmission system directly supplies large factories consuming over 50 MW.
Primary Distribution System
The most frequently used voltages and wiring in the primary distribution system are listed in Table 1.
Primary distribution, in low load density areas, is a radial system. This is economical but yields low
reliability. In large cities, where the load density is very high, a primary cable network is used. The
distribution substations are interconnected by the feeders (lines or cables). Circuit breakers (CBs) are
installed at both ends of the feeder for short circuit protection. The loads are connected directly to the
feeders through fuses. The connection is similar to the one line diagram of the high voltage network
shown in Fig. 1. The high cost of the network limits its application. A more economical and fairly
reliable arrangement is the loop connection, when the main feeder is supplied from two independent
distribution substations. These stations share the load. The problem with this connection is the
circulating current that occurs when the two supply station voltages are different. The loop
arrangement

Sketches By Boz – Passage.Charles Dickens’ Language In
Sketches by Boz Passage Charles Dickens language in the passage suggests gloominess the motif of
darkness is present throughout. The use of words, such as cold, solitary, lifeless gives the scene a
sense of degradation and morbidity. He does this in order to give his audience a sense of what it would
be like to live as a working class person at that time and thereby establish the atmosphere,
foreshadowing the expansion of the subject matter that Dickens held a vested interest in class. The
word solitary along with the others such as quiet and closely shut building , forms a semantic field of
abandonment and desolation through which Dickens accuses the Establishment (the Government) of
essentially neglecting its citizens by ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He voices his support for these side lined people of society by presenting their situation
euphemistically understating their circumstances via the word unfortunate . The sympathetic tone in
the word denies the idea that the poor are entirely at fault for their situation (which was a widely held
belief at the time of the Middle and Upper classes). Dickens purposefully emphasises the idea of
understanding and not the renunciation that was common. Having grown up in a working class
environment, he had first hand experience of the penury and hardship that they endured. The rich and
Middle Classes believed that the poor were at fault for their problems that they did not follow the
Christian way of life and deserved to be poor. Dickens was trying to reverse this widespread opinion.
Dickens presents the stigmatic problems of anything that could be seen as un Christian , such as
alcohol, prostitution, idleness , thereby vagrancy all often classed as immorality , of which many are
suggested in the passage and attributed to the poor. But while doing this he also challenges the view
that the poor are solely at fault; his blatantly satirical description of the incompetency and idleness of
the police, force who gaze listlessly is a disdainful reveal of public attitudes towards them. This is
perhaps a consequence of the low pay in the profession s early days, where the passage is set. The
police had been set up for some time and were not yet considered

Strategies Used by American Security
American Security
After the September, 11th terrorists attack, the United States government 9/11 commission
recommended that biometric entry exit screening system was ideal for travelers who were leaving and
entering the United States. They reiterated that this was essential for national security. Border
screening systems were to be consolidated with United States Visitor and Immigrant Status Indicator
Technology (Haddal, 2010). This was supposed to streamline border inspections. Legislations were
instituted that were geared towards enhancing airline security, visa border security, and maritime
security.
The Aviation and Security Act of November 2001, the PATRIOTIC Act, and Border Security and Visa
Entry Reform Act of May 2002 were geared towards enhancing homeland security (Haddal, 2010).
The Homeland Security Act of 2002 merged border and interior enforcement functions of Department
of Agriculture, the INS, and the U.S. Customs service to form Directorate of Border and
Transportation Security within the Department of Homeland Security (Haddal, 2010). Free sharing of
information and resources was made possible between USBP and CBP. The land, rail, and
transportation network became secure save for Transport Security Administration.
Alternative strategies that can be used to enhance border security can be effective collection, use, and
sharing of intelligence by exploiting networked intelligence. This should be done by sharing both
biographic and biometric information

Main Differences Between The Manufacturing Sector And The...
In the business world, there are two major sectors; the manufacturing sector and the service sector.
While they both deeply affect a society s standard of living, there are five main differences between
the two. According to The Business Dictionary,
(http://www.businessdictionary.com/definition/manufacturing sector.html), the definition of
manufacturing sector are industries that are involved in chemical, mechanical or physical conversion

However, a manufacturing firm does not need to employ many people because most manufacturing
organizations can automate their production processes to reduce their labor requirements. The fifth
mentioned difference is location, service firms do not require a physical production site allowing them
to be located anywhere, an example would be Amazon, which spent most of it s forming years without
a standing office due to their ability to operate solely through the internet. Manufacturers on the other
hand must have a physical location for the production and stock holding operations. These differences
create a difference in their respective accounting books as based on reviewing different companies in
both sectors, companies in the manufacturing sector usually had much larger assets and overall higher
numbers in the four major financial statements. Reviewing specifically the cases of Wal Mart and
Marriott International, the international hotel chain, the tables below provide the differences between
the accounting practices and trends of the two sectors. Values in

Makeup Stereotypes
Stereotypes involving makeup and body types have been existing for a while. However, social media
has expanded minds into thinking that stereotypes are facts. Society has pressured men and women to
match the stereotypes branded to them, creating insecurities and a change in the way people view
others, due to people desiring to match the ideas that society has made for them. Some might argue
that they have witnessed the stereotype being relevant, however stereotypes are not factual statements
on genders, races, and more. Authors have gone in depth with what women and men struggle with to
achieve the expectations these stereotypes create.
Many stereotypes are associated with make up and those who wear it. Although makeup is a

appreciate the director s effort in perfectly illustrating Expressionism in a motion picture. The film s
goal was to express the modern art of Expressionism according to the inner emotion of a character

The Ottoman Empire Of Islam
The Ottoman Empire The Ottoman Turks who initially relocated from Central Asia, rose to control in
the late 1300s mid 1400s to pick up administration over a large portion of the Middle East. In 1453 the
armed force of Mehmed II, The Conqueror, conveyed their massive siege cannons to the entryway of
Constantinople and raged the Christian capital. Subsequent to catching Constantinople in 1453 the
Ottomans had built up a genuine domain, contemporary with the Habsburg. The Ottoman was the
remainder of the grand extensive empire of Islam, overlying the Abbasid and Seljuk, with some
Mongol impact through the Ilkhanids of Persia. The Fall of Constantinople denoted the end of the
Middle Ages and the start of another age in Europe.

endeavored to achieve the grounds of the far east by guiding their way down the shoreline of Africa,
adjusting the landmass, and after that sailing across the Indian Ocean to Asia. Second, and meanwhile,

The Transformation of the International System due to the...
Rise of Networks and ICTs are transforming the International System
Introduction
Revolution in Information Technology has changed the entire meaning of International Social and
Economic System. This change became more prominent in the fourth quarter of twentieth century
when the core activities of circulation, consumption and production of markets, information,
technology, labor, capital and raw materials all started to be controlled globally. These activities are
now organized directly or by means of network connection between business and economic agents.
This system of new economy is more commonly known as globalization and when we talk about it,
the first thing that comes to mind is an instant exchange of information and trading by means of
networks. Information and communication technology has played a major role in globalizing the
world and transforming the international social and economic system.
Globalization has now created the business market networks in which the whole world participates to
raise the economy and thus profitability. In fact, it is now not possible to think of globalization without
understanding the concept of networks. In order to compete with the rest of the world, every nation or
business has to grow their network.
As noted in World Summit on IT, Information and Communication technology is acting like a catalyst
in making development to social and economic system of the world. ICT is expected and already

goal of Voodoo is to serve the Spirits (sevi lwa) offering prayers and numerous devotional rites to God
and other spirits for health, favor, and protection. Spirit possession plays an important role in this
religion. It is an oral tradition that is practiced by extended families that inherit familial spirits and
devotional practices by elders. The forms of Voodoo practiced today are the results of one of the most
inhumane episodes in modern history: The African Slave Trade between the 16th and 19th century.

Christian Leadership Philosophy
The word leadership is defined as a person who directs or guides someone and has the ability to
influence or have an impact on their lives. Christian leadership is distinctively different from other
major leadership conceptions such as instructional, transactional, and transformational leadership
conceptions. Those who live as humble servants of Christ, should assume the position of leadership in
any given community such as CBU s International Service Program (ISP), because you can turn
someone s life around just by your actions and you will be setting an example for believers. In Mark
16:15 Jesus said, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Doing ISP plays a role in
leadership and you would be doing what God s calling all believers to do. In John 10:11 Jesus
declares, I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. Within this
verse, we see the perfect description of a Christian leader. Jesus is referring to us as sheep, He was not
speaking in affectionate terms. In the bible, sheep rank among the dumbest animals in creation. The
shepherd is the leader of the herd, without him, the sheep are lost, confused, and disoriented. The

Unemployed, hungry, and homeless, the people were desperate to find money to support their family,
as Harburg depicts in his song. People began blaming themselves for their misfortune. They believed
that success went to those who worked hard and deserved it (Cook, Karan 415). Therefore, people
blamed themselves for the loss of their jobs and the inability to support their families during this
economic crisis. This sense of self blame and self doubt was perhaps the reason for an increase in
suicide rates during this period (Cook, Karan 415). It was during this event that Harburg wrote his
song, Brother, Can You Spare a Dime? , that represented the struggles the people were going through.
As the song represented all of the Americans who built the great nation, those who had earth to plow

themselves with the singer and perhaps had a much deeper understanding of the song s meaning.
Harburg strengthens his credibility and thus appeals to ethos by directly characterizing the singer as

called Al (21). He also does this by making the singer relatable to his

American city had a population over one million; by 1890, three cities had passed the million mark.
New York City became the second largest city in the world after London in 1900. The substantial
growth of the U.S economically can be contributed to a group of wealthy capitalists that ran
businesses/industries and stimulated economic growth. However, historians have argued over whether
these capitalists were robber barons that were corrupt and took advantage of the American people or
captains of industry that helped the U.S grow at unparalleled speeds. Wealthy capitalists such as
Andrew Carnegie and John D. Rockefeller were indeed captains of industry who enlarged American
industry and businesses, used their wealth to better their communities, and elevated the United States
to new heights as one of the leading industrial powers of the entire world. The major wealthy
capitalists of the time Andrew Carnegie, John D. Rockefeller, J. Pierpont Morgan, and Cornelius
Vanderbilt all played a tremendous role in developing American industry and ultimately the economy
as a whole. Through their business ventures, they vastly increased the industrial output of America.

Gilgamesh Downfall
An epic poem is a narrative poem that normally speaks about heroic acts and events that are
significant within a specific cultured. Many ancient writers used these epic poem to tell stories of
adventures and of courageous accomplishments. In the Epic of Gilgamesh, we learn about Gilgamesh,
a man who is two part God, and one part man. Though he is known as one of the fiercest and most
ambitious warriors, his flaws were a major downfall. Through his characteristics and the historical
background of Gilgamesh, we learn it s historical context and the importance of the two main
characters, how gods are portrayed and its historical occurrence, and lastly how the Sumerian society
functioned. The historical context within Gilgamesh begins when an ... Show more content on

The Sumerians looked to their Gods in every aspect of their life. They re gods are powerful and
impede with the lives of the humans. They have human emotions and problems. An example of this
would be when Ishtar, the God of War and Love, tries to tempt Gilgamesh into having sex with him
and he refused. As a result, she was offended and proceeded to seek revenge on him. Though the gods
are powerful, they are a lot like the humans and in order for everything to work, the humans and gods
have to work together. In some ways, the humans and gods are even similar. For example, they both
share the common characteristic of fear. This was shown when the flood began and even the gods
were terrified at the flood, they fled to the highest heaven...they crouched against walls, cowering like
curs (Gilgamesh 110). This particular flood that occurred within The Epic of Gilgamesh relates to the
flood of Noah and the Ark. This flood occurs because Noah s god, Yahweh, was enraged with the
wickedness of humanity, therefore, sent a flood to destroy it. Though he sent the flood out of anger, he
showed Noah and his family grace by not allowing them to experience the flood, thus, surviving. In
the poem, Noah is best seen through Utnapishtim, a god Gilgamesh seeks for immorality because of
his fear of death. A similarity example within the two floods would be that they both had a God

Dbq Compare And Contrast Samurai And Knights
Samurai and knights always battling out in the battlefield. During this time both knights and samurai
were fighting for protection. Both were developing codes such as Chivalry and Bushido. Both had a
some sort of leader weather it s a shogun or a pope. Some historians will argue that samurai and
knights are more different than similar, but they are more similar than different. The samurai and
knights were more similar than different because they had similar armor and they had the same type of
social pyramid.
First of all the knights and samurai both wore armor. It states in document D that in samurai armor
they were put together with tiny iron scales. The knights had one big body suit of armor in one piece.
This means that the armor they

Tb Vaccine Essay
Treatments
There is a TB vaccine (bacilli calmette guerin, or BCG) that is used in many countries to prevent TB.
BCG is almost never used in the U.S., since the risk of getting TB is low. The vaccine is not very
effective in adults and can cause a false positive tuberculin skin test, making it very difficult to use the
tuberculin skin test to check people for TB. The vaccine is recommended for infants in parts of the
world where TB is common.
Treatment for TB is often a success, but it is a long process. It usually takes 6 to 9 months to treat TB.
In some cases, it can take up to 2 years. Active TB is treated with a combination of antibiotics
typically prescribed for 6 months; if, at that point, the TB is still active, the treatment is extended for a
period consisting of two to three months to a full year of treatment. If the TB bacteria are resistant to
the most commonly prescribed antibiotics known as multidrug resistant TB, then treatment may be
extended to a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Isoniazid is no different with a bioavailability of approximately 90%. It is important to note however
that this medication is most effective when taken on an empty stomach as food limits the extent of
absorption. When taken as prescribed this medication becomes readily available in all body fluids,
these include: CSF, pleural and ascetic fluids, tissues, organs, saliva, sputum, and feces (Woo
Robinson, 2015, p. 761).
Dosing of this medication for active tuberculosis is either by mouth or intramuscular injection and
should be given as 300mg/day (Wilson, Shannon, Sheilds, 2009). Alternatively, this medication may
be given 2 3 times weekly at a dose of 15mg/kg (up to 900mg) (Woo Robinson, 2015). As stated
previously, this medication should be given on an empty stomach (1 hour before or 2 hours after
eating). In situations where this medication causes severe GI upset, it may be taken with

The Consequences Of Due Care And Diligence In A Business
Due care occurs when a company does not inform their workers what is expected of them, and the
action that the company will take against them if their acts or illegal or unethical. Due diligence
requires a business to continuously safeguard others (Whitman Mattord, 2014). Due care and diligence
when in regards to the law and information security, is the way a company or a person cares about the
product they produce are dependable. . Due diligence is the determination made by an ordinarily
prudent or reasonable party to elude damage to an additional party, when there is no attempt to try, this
is seen as more or less a level of negligent behavior, and agreements will frequently state that the
seller must be responsible for due diligence (Freeman, 2007).
Negligence is conduct which involves an unreasonably great risk of causing damage. Due care is
conduct which does not involve such a risk. The essence of negligence is unreasonableness; due care
is simply reasonable conduct. When due care consists in taking precautions against harm, only
reasonable precautions need be taken, not every conceivable or possible precaution In certain cases
skill or special knowledge is an element in due care; i. e., it is unreasonable for a person who has not
competent knowledge or skill to do certain acts. During mergers acquisitions companies should
execute a thorough process that begins with a rigorous due diligence phase and follows through post
implementation periods (Terry, 1915).

Descriptive Essay On The Turrbine Hall Bridge
The entrance doors are located with many considerations. Although every entrance has its own unique
function, but Using the river entrance to get into the building on level one was less spontaneous than
using the western entrance on level zero when I first visited the building. The sense of arrival was not
the same as the other entrances; I had to work harder to orientate. I very quickly found my self on the
Turbine Hall Bridge, a dead end space with not much purpose to it. When the new building opened,
the arrival experience on level one dramatically changed. Lots of improvement were shown and the
river entrance become more of a way finding route. It now has a comparable sense of arrival as that
accomplished at the western entrance.
Herzog de Meuron have achieved to create a street running across the Turbine Hall from the north to
the south on level one. This entrance very naturally pulled me onto the centre of the Turbine Hall
Bridge which felt like the heart of the building with activity visible on either side. I was able to read
the building from this central part. I got a sense of the building s shape and the layout which was
created in my mind as an imaginary architectural model.
This central space really does operate as the heart of the building; it was a great place to plan my first
move and start to explore Tate Modern in more detail. The Turbine Hall Bridge and its openings to the
landscape on either side, felt like an extension to the bankside s public realm.

Indie Rock Band Of Montreal Concert Analysis
Indie rock band of Montreal will grace the stage of Bears on Fairfield tonight at 10pm. This will be
their second stop on a 41 city tour across the United States.
Chase Boytim, owner of Bears, is excited about tonight s show since he missed an opportunity to see
them a few years ago.
I ve been a fan a few years now. I really wanted to catch them at Demonfest in Natchitoches a couple
years ago but had my own show I couldn t get away from he said.
Since 1996, of Montreal has colored outside of the music lines and explored different genres. The
Athens, GA based band started with an indie pop sound and through the years they experimented with
rock, funk, psychadellic and electronic. Now, with 13 albums under their belt, their sound is an

They strive to create an experience like none other.
We have an unconventional production for indie rock band. We want to create an evening that s
special and out of the ordinary, not the typical show said Barnes.
Boytim agrees that this show will be very special for Bears and Shreveport.
This is a very unique opportunity to see these guys in probably the smallest venue they are going to

from any show we will have had thus far. This will be the most incredible show we have had to date

Test Taking Strategies
Test Taking Strategies
For 10 years, I was the one testing the students, teaching strategies and finding new ones to help
students study. Suddenly, I found myself returning to school and the anxiety, stress, lack of time, and
just all the unknowns seemed to overwhelm my life. The last couple of years I have learned to
incorporate strategies that work best for me, but there is always room for improvement and
strengthening. Learning, study and test taking skills are some of the most important things to have
when furthering your education. Upon reading Strategies for Test Success by Linda Anne Silvestri, I
was able to scrutinize some of my weaknesses, reevaluate my learning style, and look at some new
test taking strategies while assessing ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
By using this strategy instead of trying to memorize text out of a book, one should have to spend less
time studying and more information should be retained. (Kaplan Nursing: Lipponcott)
Test Strategies Not so Helpful
There are so many strategy recommendations for students. While each have good points, some are
more helpful than others. Strategies that don t seem as helpful to me are simulating actual test like
circumstances when studying for the exam, study groups, note taking by using the fancy systems.
These three strategies just seem to increase my stress level to the point I feel like I am not learning.
Simulating actual test like circumstances has just never worked for me as I usually don t pick the
correct information to test myself on and the important information gets left behind. Study groups
cause me too much pressure because I find that one or two people seem to be putting the study guides
together. This is a pet peeve for me; I don t mind sharing my ideas but don t expect me to do all the
work and then hand it to you. The final one that has never worked for me is taking notes by using one
of the many note taking systems. I find myself spending too much time trying to remember what
needs to be written where, organizing, how to fold the paper. I have developed my own crazy way of
taking notes over the years. Note taking is an area that I feel is individualize for each

Character Analysis Of Avengers Age Of Ultron
Although not comic accurate, his arrogance and imperiousness compels him to build the artificial
intelligence Ultron in an attempt to create a suit of armour around the world . Of course, Stark s self
righteous plan fails and his creation becomes the new super villain of the film Avengers: Age of Ultron
(2015). In spite of this, his character remains appealing because, in the netherworld of our
unconscious is our constant propensity to return to a state of primary narcissism (Peaslee 2005:online).
Furthermore, with reference to Freudian theory, The Reluctant Psychoanalyst (2015) claims that the
concrete representation of psychologically separate aspects of ourselves as individual elements pre
dated but anticipated a development within psychoanalytic theory of dream interpretation where one
layer of an interpretation is to consider whether each of the characters within a particular dream might
be representing aspects of the dreamer s personality a part of him or herself, as it were, that can be
quite different than other aspects of the self . If approached in the light of Freud, Avengers: Age of
Ultron can be interpreted as a dream and, therefore, the viewer as the dreamer. If this is the case, such
narcissistic superheroes could be characterizing not just part of our identification with powerful, self
absorbed others, but a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

By Mark Twain Mark Twain Fenimore Cooper s Literary...
The American writer Mark Twain wrote Fenimore Cooper s Literary Offenses in response and his own
opinion about Cooper s novels. In this essay, Twain criticizes the major mistakes and rules which
Cooper violates in writing his series, The Leatherstocking Tales. A large portion of the rules which
Twain writes about can be found in Cooper s novel, The Last of the Mohicans. His self made rules are
very encompassing of Cooper s literary flaws which can easily be pointed out through his novel. With
Cooper violating these basic set of rules, he makes his novel seem very rushed and undeveloped as the
rules which do not follow encompass very crucial criteria which not only these kinds of novels must
have, but any novel must do.
In his essay, Twain criticizes Cooper on his inability to develop characters or to even have them
develop throughout the novel. Twain writes this is his essay when he writes, They require that the
author shall make the reader feel a deep interest in the personages of his tale and in their fate; and that
he shall make the reader love the good people in the tale and hate the bad ones. (Twain 2). Twain notes
that there should be a definite distinction between protagonist and antagonist of the story. Overall,
Cooper does a decent, but a sloppy job in distinguishing the main conflict which each side is on. For
example, the disputes between Magua and the Europeans in the novel is not developed enough in The
Last of the Mohicans to be able to confidently

The Best Candidate For The Pizza Hut
I truly believe that I am the best candidate for the Pizza Hut All American Opportunity. After reading,
the flyer that was posted in my classroom, I was strong intrigued by possibility of forming my
competiveness of sports with Pizza Hut. The reason why I feel in love with Pizza Hut was because of
the amazing crust I pick on my pizza. Any pizza company can make a pizza decent, but Pizza Hut
takes time in the crust of amazingness. Personally, I am a fan of the pretzel crust pizza with the meat
lover toppings. Nothing screams more amazing than that. The pizza starts nice and meaty to end salty
to wash down with an ice cold Sprite is the way I would love my last meal to before I pass on this
earth. My history with the NCAA runs deep in my blood. My first real NCAA experience of being at
the NCAA Basketball Championship with Duke vs an amazing unknown Butler team made me into
the fanatic I am today. Ever since then, I have been to many games around the nation, but currently I
live in Vermillion, SD where my favorite team the USD Coyotes take on battles everything week. My
previous game I attended was the game USD Women s Volleyball team take on the Bison of North
Dakota. It was a game that I believe we should have won, but injuries have hurt this team from the
true potential. The NCAA has lots of tournaments every year, from the likes of Division One to NAIA.
Each championship is worth the same value for each student athlete. Personally, the level of which the

These fathers can be classified in certain times or divided into four groups. The first groups would be the apostolic fathers, the apologists, the Polemicists, and the scientific theologians. As like the rest of the early church fathers, The Polemicists raised up to defend the faith. Their reaction by concern church fathers against the action of the heretic let to the development of Christian doctrine and the formulation of a New Testament Canon. They fought the heresies that were damaging the church. In refuting error, they used much of the New Testament as the source of the true doctrine. The work of the Polemicists also gave rise to the concept of an orthodox catholic church which was opposed to heresy. While most of the Apologists were from the East, most of the Polemicists were from the West. The Eastern mind was more concerned with speculative theology, whereas the Western mind was concerned with church organization and practical doctrine for solving problems. These were the Polemicists. The Creative Decision Making in a Documentary Production This journal inspects the importance of creative decision making in various aspects of documentary production, examines whether those decisions help to make the film an engaging cinematic piece, and explores the influences it might have on the society, the cinema and the subject, in relation to my own experience in producing a 15min documentary film Hackney Pirates, and my understandings of relevant practice from the contemporary cinema. Introduction Films about education for children in critical situations have been seen in cinema since the 1990s. Slightly frustrated at first, we realised that the interviews are actually not as necessary as in Être et Avoir on a second thought, in that the theme of Être et Avoir also includes the teacher s devotion to his pupils, while Hackney Pirates is purely about the children s learning experience, which satisfies the objectives of Hackney Pirates; moreover, the volunteer training session facilitated by one of the founders as part of the narrative structure we ve planned can provide essential information of the organisation. The opening Être et Avoir opens with a scene of tough labour work and living conditions in a rural farm, followed by a montage sequence of a classroom with warm and cheerful décor. The warm interior in contrast to the cold exterior emphasizes on the light and positive tone of the film, which consequently helps to attract the viewers attention and keeps them engaged in the following sequences. Inspired by the opening sequence of Être et Avoir, we wanted to open the film with a train passing by city landscape and finally arriving at Haggerston Overground station where Hackney Pirates is based. At first, the director was not sure about what exactly she was expecting from the shot, whether just the train passing by city landscape would be enough as an introduction or we have to let it come to a stop i.e. Haggerston in order to provide extra geographic information. • 4. The Pros And Cons Of Suicide Terrorism Suicide terrorism does not always have to be an attack on the United States from a different country with different cultural values. Suicide terrorism can come from American citizens. More current events are mass shootings by American citizens against their own people. One event is the attack on Sandy Hook Elementary. This attack was where Adam Lanza started by killing his own mother, and then moved on to Sandy Hook Elementary where he took the lives of Twenty children and six adults (Connecticut Shootings Fast Facts, 2017, para. 2). After this act of violence, Adam Lanza committed suicide. Another more recent mass shooting attack was the mass shooting in Las Vegas. This attack was carried out by Stephen Paddock. Stephen Paddock, in his attack killed 58 and wounded around 500 people before taking his own life (Yan, Park, 2017). Whether suicide terrorism is being used by domestic or foreign enemies, the message is clear. They want to hurt innocent people but at the same time scare the rest of the American people. Also, after these attacks many political battles were pushed. Whether it be going to war with another country, or making far stricter laws to possess a firearm and to outlaw certain types of fire arms. These political battles have sparked many debates among the American people. It seems with the loss of innocent lives, certain groups in America try to use this to push their own personal views of what America should do to prevent any further acts. ... It had a renaissance period in the late T ang dynasty. It was not until the Sung dynasty and the appearance of neo Confucianism that Confucianism became the dominant philosophy among educated Chinese. Using Taoist and Buddhist ideas, neo Confucian thinkers formulated a system of metaphysics, which had not been a part of older Confucianism. They were particularly influenced by Ch an, or Zen Buddhism. Nevertheless they rejected the Taoist search for immortality and Buddhist ethical universalistic teachings, keeping instead the political and social vision of the early Confucian teachings. In 479 B.C. the government made it part of the civil service examination. The neo Confucian teachings were unified and established as orthodoxy by Chu Hsi and his system dominated Chinese intellectual life. Three categories that I have examples for are, mismatched friendships, antagonists, and the role of women. The first category is mismatched friendships. In Shrek, Donkey tags around with Shrek like Lennie tags around with George in Of Mice and Men. Also they both have their bad moments in each story. In Shrek, Donkey and Shrek are fighting and arguing all the time, but they still have good, friendly moments, such as the one when they were laying on the ground looking at the stars and constellations together. Also another example when he tells him not to come near his house, and he ends up letting him sleep on the doorstep, and then inside. The flow is driven by an osmotically generated pressure gradient between the source and the sink. The translocation pathway has cross walls that allow water to move between the xylem and phloem. At the source phloem loading causes high solute concentrations. Pressure decreases, so water flows into the cells increasing pressure. Primary Distribution System The most frequently used voltages and wiring in the primary distribution system are listed in Table 1. Primary distribution, in low load density areas, is a radial system. This is economical but yields low reliability. In large cities, where the load density is very high, a primary cable network is used. The distribution substations are interconnected by the feeders (lines or cables). Circuit breakers (CBs) are installed at both ends of the feeder for short circuit protection. The loads are connected directly to the feeders through fuses. The connection is similar to the one line diagram of the high voltage network shown in Fig. 1. The high cost of the network limits its application. He voices his support for these side lined people of society by presenting their situation euphemistically understating their circumstances via the word unfortunate . The sympathetic tone in the word denies the idea that the poor are entirely at fault for their situation (which was a widely held belief at the time of the Middle and Upper classes). Dickens purposefully emphasises the idea of understanding and not the renunciation that was common. Having grown up in a working class environment, he had first hand experience of the penury and hardship that they endured. The rich and Middle Classes believed that the poor were at fault for their problems that they did not follow the Christian way of life and deserved to be poor. Dickens was trying to reverse this widespread opinion. Dickens presents the stigmatic problems of anything that could be seen as un Christian , such as alcohol, prostitution, idleness , thereby vagrancy all often classed as immorality , of which many are suggested in the passage and attributed to the poor. But while doing this he also challenges the view that the poor are solely at fault; his blatantly satirical description of the incompetency and idleness of the police, force who gaze listlessly is a disdainful reveal of public attitudes towards them. This is perhaps a consequence of the low pay in the profession s early days, where the passage is set. The police had been set up for some time and were not yet considered ... It states in document D that in samurai armor they were put together with tiny iron scales. The knights had one big body suit of armor in one piece. This means that the armor they ... • 42. Tb Vaccine Essay Treatments There is a TB vaccine (bacilli calmette guerin, or BCG) that is used in many countries to prevent TB. BCG is almost never used in the U.S., since the risk of getting TB is low. The vaccine is not very effective in adults and can cause a false positive tuberculin skin test, making it very difficult to use the tuberculin skin test to check people for TB. The vaccine is recommended for infants in parts of the world where TB is common. Treatment for TB is often a success, but it is a long process. It usually takes 6 to 9 months to treat TB. In some cases, it can take up to 2 years. Active TB is treated with a combination of antibiotics typically prescribed for 6 months; if, at that point, the TB is still active, the treatment is extended for a period consisting of two to three months to a full year of treatment. If the TB bacteria are resistant to the most commonly prescribed antibiotics known as multidrug resistant TB, then treatment may be extended to a ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... • 43. The Consequences Of Due Care And Diligence In A Business Due care occurs when a company does not inform their workers what is expected of them, and the action that the company will take against them if their acts or illegal or unethical. Due diligence requires a business to continuously safeguard others (Whitman Mattord, 2014). Due care and diligence when in regards to the law and information security, is the way a company or a person cares about the product they produce are dependable. . Due diligence is the determination made by an ordinarily prudent or reasonable party to elude damage to an additional party, when there is no attempt to try, this is seen as more or less a level of negligent behavior, and agreements will frequently state that the seller must be responsible for due diligence (Freeman, 2007). Negligence is conduct which involves an unreasonably great risk of causing damage. Due care is conduct which does not involve such a risk. The essence of negligence is unreasonableness; due care is simply reasonable conduct. When due care consists in taking precautions against harm, only reasonable precautions need be taken, not every conceivable or possible precaution In certain cases skill or special knowledge is an element in due care; i. e., it is unreasonable for a person who has not competent knowledge or skill to do certain acts. During mergers acquisitions companies should execute a thorough process that begins with a rigorous due diligence phase and follows through post implementation periods (Terry, 1915). ... • 44. Descriptive Essay On The Turrbine Hall Bridge The entrance doors are located with many considerations. Although every entrance has its own unique function, but Using the river entrance to get into the building on level one was less spontaneous than using the western entrance on level zero when I first visited the building. The sense of arrival was not the same as the other entrances; I had to work harder to orientate. I very quickly found my self on the Turbine Hall Bridge, a dead end space with not much purpose to it. When the new building opened, the arrival experience on level one dramatically changed. Lots of improvement were shown and the river entrance become more of a way finding route. It now has a comparable sense of arrival as that accomplished at the western entrance. Herzog de Meuron have achieved to create a street running across the Turbine Hall from the north to the south on level one. This entrance very naturally pulled me onto the centre of the Turbine Hall Bridge which felt like the heart of the building with activity visible on either side. I was able to read the building from this central part. I got a sense of the building s shape and the layout which was created in my mind as an imaginary architectural model. This central space really does operate as the heart of the building; it was a great place to plan my first move and start to explore Tate Modern in more detail. The Turbine Hall Bridge and its openings to the landscape on either side, felt like an extension to the bankside s public realm. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Athens, GA based band started with an indie pop sound and through the years they experimented with rock, funk, psychadellic and electronic. • 46. Test Taking Strategies Test Taking Strategies For 10 years, I was the one testing the students, teaching strategies and finding new ones to help students study. Suddenly, I found myself returning to school and the anxiety, stress, lack of time, and just all the unknowns seemed to overwhelm my life. The last couple of years I have learned to incorporate strategies that work best for me, but there is always room for improvement and strengthening. Learning, study and test taking skills are some of the most important things to have when furthering your education. Upon reading Strategies for Test Success by Linda Anne Silvestri, I was able to scrutinize some of my weaknesses, reevaluate my learning style, and look at some new test taking strategies while assessing ... (Kaplan Nursing: Lipponcott) Test Strategies Not so Helpful There are so many strategy recommendations for students. While each have good points, some are more helpful than others. Strategies that don t seem as helpful to me are simulating actual test like circumstances when studying for the exam, study groups, note taking by using the fancy systems. These three strategies just seem to increase my stress level to the point I feel like I am not learning. Simulating actual test like circumstances has just never worked for me as I usually don t pick the correct information to test myself on and the important information gets left behind. Study groups cause me too much pressure because I find that one or two people seem to be putting the study guides together. This is a pet peeve for me; I don t mind sharing my ideas but don t expect me to do all the work and then hand it to you. The final one that has never worked for me is taking notes by using one of the many note taking systems. I find myself spending too much time trying to remember what needs to be written where, organizing, how to fold the paper. I have developed my own crazy way of taking notes over the years. Note taking is an area that I feel is individualize for each ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 47. Character Analysis Of Avengers Age Of Ultron Although not comic accurate, his arrogance and imperiousness compels him to build the artificial intelligence Ultron in an attempt to create a suit of armour around the world . Of course, Stark s self righteous plan fails and his creation becomes the new super villain of the film Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015). In spite of this, his character remains appealing because, in the netherworld of our unconscious is our constant propensity to return to a state of primary narcissism (Peaslee 2005:online). Furthermore, with reference to Freudian theory, The Reluctant Psychoanalyst (2015) claims that the concrete representation of psychologically separate aspects of ourselves as individual elements pre dated but anticipated a development within psychoanalytic theory of dream interpretation where one layer of an interpretation is to consider whether each of the characters within a particular dream might be representing aspects of the dreamer s personality a part of him or herself, as it were, that can be quite different than other aspects of the self . If approached in the light of Freud, Avengers: Age of Ultron can be interpreted as a dream and, therefore, the viewer as the dreamer. • 48. By Mark Twain Mark Twain Fenimore Cooper s Literary... The American writer Mark Twain wrote Fenimore Cooper s Literary Offenses in response and his own opinion about Cooper s novels. In this essay, Twain criticizes the major mistakes and rules which Cooper violates in writing his series, The Leatherstocking Tales. A large portion of the rules which Twain writes about can be found in Cooper s novel, The Last of the Mohicans. His self made rules are very encompassing of Cooper s literary flaws which can easily be pointed out through his novel. With Cooper violating these basic set of rules, he makes his novel seem very rushed and undeveloped as the rules which do not follow encompass very crucial criteria which not only these kinds of novels must have, but any novel must do. In his essay, Twain criticizes Cooper on his inability to develop characters or to even have them develop throughout the novel. Twain writes this is his essay when he writes, They require that the author shall make the reader feel a deep interest in the personages of his tale and in their fate; and that he shall make the reader love the good people in the tale and hate the bad ones. (Twain 2). Twain notes that there should be a definite distinction between protagonist and antagonist of the story. Overall, Cooper does a decent, but a sloppy job in distinguishing the main conflict which each side is on. For example, the disputes between Magua and the Europeans in the novel is not developed enough in The Last of the Mohicans to be able to confidently ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

After reading, the flyer that was posted in my classroom, I was strong intrigued by possibility of forming my competiveness of sports with Pizza Hut. The reason why I feel in love with Pizza Hut was because of the amazing crust I pick on my pizza. Any pizza company can make a pizza decent, but Pizza Hut takes time in the crust of amazingness. Personally, I am a fan of the pretzel crust pizza with the meat lover toppings. Nothing screams more amazing than that. The pizza starts nice and meaty to end salty to wash down with an ice cold Sprite is the way I would love my last meal to before I pass on this earth. My history with the NCAA runs deep in my blood. My previous game I attended was the game USD Women s Volleyball team take on the Bison of North Dakota.
