3. FEEDBACK FROM THE 1ST CD
• From the CD, I have learnt the design (illustration) of the album has to
be eye-catching and has a ‘house style’ that links the album to its
genre.
• Furthermore, the insert from the album has the lyrics on to each song
of the album; this gives the consumer an additional thing that they
are getting something for free.
• Another feature that this album has is that the illustration of the CD
itself, is also on the inside of the album when the CD is removed from
the album. This makes the album more efficient and appealing to the
audience in making them keeping it.
5. FEEDBACK FROM THE 2ND CD
• This album is different, but similar to the previous album in which it shares
the same idea. Which the illustration of the CD itself is repeated onto the
design of the album; revealed when the CD is removed.
• On the insert for the album, there is the name of the song but no lyrics to
each individual one. However there is the names of who played which
instrument or take what part in making the songs for each one.
• Even more, the insert has additional information such about the artist and
other albums.
• A different feature that this album has than the previous one is that when
the album is bought, the buyer can fit in a card with the details and send it
to the address stated on the card. This can be for winning a competition or
for getting free merchandises like gig tickets.
7. FEEDBACK ON THE 3RD CD
• This album is completely different than the other two album as its
‘house style’ is linked to the metal genre.
• This means that the layout is different as there is no lyrics to each
individual song, but words in white lower case that links to the
images.
• The illustration of the CD is made up of different images that links to
the songs; for example the front cover of the album is a old tattered
bible that links to the words within the songs.
• The colours- brown, black, grey and yellows gives an indicate of what
genre does the album belong to. Also, makes the album eye-catching
and appealing to the fans.
