Q3. How do your products engage with the audience?
To choose the theme of our productwe asked the audience what they
would like to see.In order to do that we had to make a survey. We first
made a rough draft on paper and thoroughly researched what type of
questions to ask the audience. We asked them what type of genre do they
listen or what is the most important aspectof a music video for the
audience. After preparing our questions we had made a word document
consisting of many questions which we then later turned into a Google
form.
Due to COVID-19 we could not go outside and make people fill the form so
we had to upload the form online. this not only increased our audience size
from 30 to above 100 but also gave huge variety of opinion. This really
helped in selecting the genre of our shoot. This gave a variety of opinion
and made us explore the likes and dislikes of people who were outside our
social group. This also gave us an opportunity to explore other genre of
songs which we ourself enjoyed.
To distribute a product,we again had to go online and started to spread
word of our product.The easiestway was social media such as Facebook,
WhatsApp,YouTube and Instagram. This gave us an audience for our
productas we also gave a survey form in which we asked about the
audience's feedback.This really helped us in making our productmuch
better and by comparing our mistakes with the audience opinion we were
able to make a good product.We also tried to sell our product in our social
group but due to COVID-19 we could not meetup in order to sell our
product. The pandemic really hit our projecthard as no professional
equipmentcould be arranged and even if we would arrange a better
camera the owner would bail at the last second.
