Cause And Effect Essay Writing
Writing a cause and effect essay presents its own set of challenges, requiring a thoughtful
analysis of relationships between various factors and their outcomes. Crafting such an essay
demands a deep understanding of the chosen topic, as well as the ability to logically connect
different elements to establish causation. The process involves extensive research to gather
relevant information and evidence to support the identified causes and effects.
One difficulty lies in maintaining a clear structure throughout the essay. Ensuring a smooth flow
of ideas, from introducing the topic and establishing a thesis statement to presenting evidence
and drawing conclusions, requires careful planning. Striking the right balance between providing
detailed explanations and avoiding information overload is another challenge. It's crucial to
present a coherent narrative that allows readers to follow the cause-and-effect relationships
without feeling overwhelmed.
Moreover, selecting a compelling and well-defined topic is essential. Choosing a subject with
ambiguous or weak connections between causes and effects can make the writing process more
challenging. Finding the right balance between a topic's complexity and the available research
material is crucial to producing a well-rounded essay.
In addition, avoiding oversimplification is a constant concern. It's essential to delve into the
depth of each cause and effect, avoiding superficial analyses that might weaken the essay's
overall impact. Developing a nuanced understanding of the subject matter requires time and
effort, making it a demanding task for writers.
Despite these challenges, mastering the art of cause and effect essay writing can be immensely
rewarding. It enhances critical thinking skills, encourages thorough research, and sharpens the
ability to articulate complex ideas effectively. With practice, writers can overcome these
difficulties and produce compelling essays that engage readers with insightful analyses of cause-
and-effect relationships.

A More Perfect Constitution Summary
A More Perfect Constitution Begins with Congressional Term Limits
Professor Larry Sabato is the founder of the Center for Politics at the University of
Virginia presents 23 proposals to revitalize our Constitution and Make America a
Fairer Country. His book provides insight for a hard fought debate. Whether you like
his suggestions or not or you agree with him or not, you have to respect anyone that
can outwardly state that the United States Constitution as it has been handed down is
outdated. This quest for reform I m sure would anger many political conservatives
who believe that the Constitution that we know today, is not in need of any reform,
and is just the true document that is has always been and should remain.

Do we presume to place the blame solely on our presidents, or do we consider the fact
that the executive branch of government is much bigger than just the president, and
how does that affect the running of the government in totality; more so the continuity
of our government and the legislative branch. Continuity of government, just like
business continuity plans of a corporation have existed since the 1950 s with
overbearing threat of the USA v. USSR nuclear war prompted President Truman to
develop a plan to ensure that the infrastructure of the government continued to
operate under catastrophic conditions.
Admittedly even though these efforts continued after Truman, some of these
programs were allowed to lapse after the fall of the Soviet Union. Due to terrorist
attacks in the mid 1990 s, President Bill Clinton signed an executive order requiring
all departments and agencies to develop contingency plans for resuming critical
functions following a
disaster. George W. Bush s administration also tried to reestablish Continuity of
Government programs. Progress has been made in some areas, but the progress does
not include Congress in the event of a critical event.
Article I of the Constitution gives all legislative powers to the Congress. Congress
consists of two houses, the Senate and the House of Representatives, both Senators
and Representatives chosen through an
Inboard Target Market
The entrepreneurial company I have decided to do my analysis on is Inboard. Their
pitch was shown in episode 10 on Shark Tank. Inboard is a company centered on the
sale of electric skateboards to urban areas. There are many electric skateboards out on
the market, but the Inboard team believes that their product provides significant value
over their competition. The main value that differentiates them from their
competition lies within the product design. The skateboard that Inboard is selling has
the only in wheel motor which allows the skateboard to be more versatile as a mode
of transportation and it allows the consumerthe peace of mind of not having to
perform any maintenance on the skateboard. The fundamental idea is that with this

They also have a side revenue stream of selling extra batteries for their skateboards
that is similar to the razor/razor blades business model.
In our chapter two discussion early in the semester we talked about how to come
up with new business ideas and how to evaluate those ideas to see if they are a
viable business opportunity. This concept is the first thing that came into my
mind when learning about Inboard. The founders looked their own personal
experiences and observed a widespread problem of transportation within urban
areas. They then came up with this business idea of creating a versatile alternative
mode of transportation that solved that problem. They were also observing trends
when coming up with business idea. People were already trying to find alternative
ways to get around urban areas such as riding a bike to work. The founders saw
this trend happening and decided to provide a better alternative and work with the
trend rather than against it. Using these factors the founders were able to evaluate
if the business idea was indeed an opportunity. The idea was attractive because
there is a large market that are looking for alternative transportation. The idea is
durable because traffic will be a problem in urban areas for the foreseeable future.
The idea is timely because it takes advantage of upward

Once subliming took place, the naphthalene crystals started to form directly on the
bottom of the watch glass instead of the sides of the beaker, which was the
indication that the beaker was the correct size. Once the mixture was completely
separated and the beaker cooled off to room temperature; the beaker and watch glass
was scraped for the remaining residue, and after which they were weighed.

Everyone has a part of them that keeps them from doing the bad things that they are
capable of. Sometimes it lies within them, where they somewhat have control,
sometimes it lies somewhere that can not be controlled, it could be in friends or

Flies, by William Golding, Piggy is the slightest chance of hope that keeps the group
from letting their id completely take over their sanity, therefore turning into complete
and utter savages.

During this period of pure brutality, their id is taking control, and in one

Troll Bridge

We live in a society filled with norms, solid framework and expectations. We are
expected not to fart at meetings or to tell every stranger we meet about our sexual
preferences. Although it may seem that these appropriate behaviors are a pure
reflection of our true selves it is not, according to psychoanalytic Sigmund Freud and
Carl Jung. All humans have deeply stored inside their brains a subconscious mind,
which is where all our truly desires are suppressed. These desires can be expressed
differently. To take an example: Writers are often able to access a collective

His fears are in the way for his desires and dreams: There are books I haven t read

Louise, even though he loves her so much. In this case Jack acts out of mere
selfishness. And at the tip of death, his evil true self is revealed. The troll sniffs
Louise but refuses to eat her because she is innocent: She is innocent, it said. You re
not. I want you (p.7, l. 8). Which indicates the fact that Jack is guilty in being morally
corrupt inside. Jack explains the troll that he
Astrology And Greek Mythology
. Whether astrology is accepted as true has yet to be determined. For centuries,
astrology has been used to provide a deeper understanding of nature and identity.
Astrology originates from Babylon developing from the belief that the heavens ruled
man s fate. The Babylonians were the first to apply myths to constellations and
astrology. The Egyptians refined the Babylonian system of astrology and the Greeks
shaped it into its modern form. It was through studyings of Plato, Aristotle and others
that Babylonian astrology was introduced to the Greeks in the 4th century B.C.. The
Greeks borrowed the occasional component from the Babylonian structure in order to
invent their own system. It is the Greeks who ... Show more content on

Providing partial reasoning for the popularity of astrology is social media and the
ability of networking to reach a large number of people. Courtesy of social media,
astrology has been turned into a meme. Astrologist and astrology meme generators

The New Jim Crow Rhetorical Analysis
Many believe that civil rights movements have completely eradicated racial
injustices and inequality in the United States. Michelle alexander disprove this myth
in her book The New Jim Crow. Alexander claims racial caste did not die with
slavery. She implies that the racial caste system in America has been reformed
multiple times to meet the needs and demands of current political climates (alexander
52). She believes that mass incarceration which she refers to as The New Jim Crow
is the current caste system in the United States. By elaborating on the history of racial
caste in America and by including quotes from politicians such as Nixon and Lyndon
Johnson, Alexander effectively persuades her reader that the United States has not

After rejecting conservatives idea that criminal behaviors are caused by black culture,
Alexander said that poverty and inequality are the root causes of crimes. She then
includes a quote from Lyndon Johnson, there is something mighty wrong when a
candidate for the highest office bemoans violence in the streets but votes against the
war on poverty, votes against the civil rights act and votes against major educational
bills that come before him as a legislator (45). Alexander uses this quote to criticize
politicians who purport that they want to reinstall law and order but vote against bills
that fight the antecedents of crimes. This may spark a series of questions in the
reader, such as if their motive is really to reinstall law and order, why aren t trying to
eliminate the origin of crimes? Why are they ignoring them instead? Alexander is
insinuating that these politicians want minorities in prison, where they can control
them, supporting her argument that the government always tries to control
minorities. This also supports her argument that the war on drug and law and order
movements represent the new form control system in the United States. Michelle
Alexander in her book The New Jim Crow makes the argument that racial inequality
still exists in the United States
The Convention Of Philadelphia Convention
Ya Gao Section time: W. 8:00am 8: 50am Philadelphia Convention, also known as
Federal Convention, a meeting lasted for 3 months in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania,
not only revised the Articles of Confederation but also established the foundation of
United States and created a new government. At that time in New York, there were
two groups of people edited two different newspapers, The New York Journal and
New York Packet. Though this convention worked in an agreement of secrecy, we
still can get a lot of involved information by reading these newspapers. I chose three
articles from the two newspapers to analyze, finding out that though there were
cheerful expectations, the disagreements and doubts (which might lead to the birth
of Republicans later) about the convention existed, and were even more than hopes.
First article comes from the New York Packet on June 3rd 1787. This article was a
letter from a Virginian man. His opinions about the convention were clear, supported
the division of power while doubted the divisions of States. He assumed that If the
respectable convention fail to establish a energetic government the reason would be
the narrow minds, or selfish views of little politicians. We could know his obvious
support for the establishment of a new government and contempt about the
obstructions from shortsighted people in these words. This gentleman also believed
that the advantages of dividing the Federal power into two
Comparing Henry Ford And Henry Kaiser

that these men are from a different era. Ford comes for the older age of business,
while Kaiser should be consider a new industrialists. Both men worked hard in order
to be successful. Both men employed a version of mass production, however, both
men a different approach handling people.
Kaiser went out of his way to make certain workers were taken care of financially
and personally, as in the advent of childcare services. Ford had over 100,000
employees at the Detroit Willow Run bomber plant did not provide for their needs at
all, and many went without housing. Much could be said about the Liberator
Bomber, but the reality is it was not a quality product, and one that had continuous

Ford did not have a proven track record with his management style either especially
when it came to employing women. Ford expected, demanded that a women who
became pregnant was to quit her job, and as quickly as he could he would replace
her with a male employee. Ford was however, the brains behind the industrial giant.
He spent very little if any time at all building anything, but he was the design
expert and expected his designed to be fully adhered to, while Kaiser, was anything
but the brains behind the design, he relied heavily on the aid and guidance of
others. He was first and foremost a businessman who found the funds to create
others concepts that he approved. Kaiser won billions of dollars of federal grants
and loans for his business ventures. Henry ford seemed disinterested in federal loans.
Ford hired workers from all backgrounds and many were new immigrants, while he
did provide a living wage for most workers, he did not provide any additional services
for his employees. Kaiser provided healthcare, food, counselors who help workers
with financial issues as

NiccolГІ Machiavelli s The Prince and Ian Johnston s Lecture on Machiavelli s The
Prince
NiccolГІ Machiavelli, a Florentine, lived between the years of 1469 1527. In 1513,
Machiavelli wrote The Prince and gifted it to the Medici family with the original
title of About Principalities. He first dedicated the work to Giuliano de Medici and
later to Lorenzo de Medici. It was a political critique that was later printed under the
title of The Prince in 1532. The treatise was controversial due to Machiavelli s lack
of regard for the morality behind his advice. In his composition, he ... Show more

Politics played a significant role in his life. They not only provided him with the
experience, but the character and will, with which he wrote. Evidence of his
republican attitude are prevalent in his other works on principalities and republics
(Strauss 182). In Ian Johnston s Lecture on Machiavelli s The Prince, he asserts his
belief that Machiavelli wrote his treatise with satirical intent.
...The book is, first and foremost, a satire, so that many of the things we find in it
which are contradictory, morally absurd, and specious are there quite deliberately in
order to ridicule two things first, the Medici family itself and, second, the very notion
of tyrannical rule embodied in the government of the Prince (hence, the satire has a
firm moral purpose to expose tyranny and promote republican government) (Johnston
Lecture on Machiavelli s The Prince).
Due to the immorality advocated for in Machiavelli s writing, along with what is
known of Machiavelli s politics, individuals often succumb to one of two beliefs
regarding The Prince. The first is that he wrote The Prince in mockery of the
princely states, specifically the Medici family. It was meant as a sort of caricature of
their rule. The Medici family had long interfered with the republic of Florence.

To appreciate the fall of the Maori to appropriation, one must understand their origins.
Most scholars agree MДЃori arrived to New Zealand sometime between 1000 and
1300 AD; some evidence suggests an even earlier arrival. MДЃoris named the new
land Aotearoa, meaning Land of the Long White Cloud. , a fitting name for a
promising new land. MДЃori society was tribal; Each person belonged to a family
(whanau), a sub tribe (hapu), and the full tribe (iwi). Perhaps it was their strong
tribal ties that allowed the Maori to weather extended conflict, continuing to thrive
well before European influence touched the continent. The first European to see
New Zealand was a Dutchman called Abel Tasman, who arrived in 1642. Early
travelers clashed violently with the natives and were not keen to return. The
unpleasant first impression fresh in memory, the land was dubbed New Zeland after
a Dutch province, and left relatively untouched until 1769. It would be the ocean s
bounty that would entice Europeans back to the continent towards the end of the
18th century. First came the sealers, followed by the whalers at the beginning of the
19th century. These sailors began to cut wood from New Zealand for masts and
spas, over time settlements began to sprout. Europeans began buying land from the
Maori. The white population of New Zealand grew at a tremendous rate; by 1861 it

The Report On Behr Iron Steel Recycling Plant

Plant
Source: OSHA News Release on 4th of September 2014

The article on Behr Iron Steel emphasizes the importance of lock out/tag out
(LOTO) in safeguarding the life of workers. LOTO is achieved when a device is
placed on a switches, valves, circuit breakers, etc. so that reactivation of the
equipment is forestalled. In addition, a warning sign must be put in place to show
that maintenance activities are going on. Equipment is locked out whenever the flow
of dangerous energy is cut off and the operation of the equipment is constrained until
the lockout device is taken away. While equipment is tagged out implies that a
warning tag is placed on it to inform others that the equipment is undergoing servicing
and must not be operated. It is imperative that safety measures is utilized together to
give an optimum level of protection for those performing the service (Iowa State
University, 2004).
However, the control of LOTO in industrial settings should be unified into production
planning. This is done to focus on enhancing safety, reducing the rates of accident and
removing the cost of accident avoidance. According to Charlot et al. (2007),
employees should be sheltered from injuries that come from the transmission of
energy that powers machines accidentally. Also, all injuries that arise from the
release of accumulated energy when servicing, repairing, maintaining and
Behind the Zoo
What makes an object worth collecting? Curiosity is an important aspect of
collecting. With the spread of colonies, there was an affinity to discover the
unknown, or rather, the different. The nineteenth century paved the way for many
sponsored expedition, looking for curios. Found object; vases, pots and pans, tools
of everyday use, gained an importance, as curios. Nature has captivated the human
cognizance since man first acquired tools, it would only be natural for the curiosity
to extend to the subject of new flora and fauna. By means of collecting it is possible
to establish a personal identity or characterize the other and often identifying this
other as a conquest.
This idea of conquest can be analyzed in the manner in which collection is presented,
making presenting as important an aspect as the collection itself.
The oldest zoological collection was a transportable one which contained every
known species, however only two of each animal, one male and one female, collected
by Noah as recounted in Genesis. Not does Noah get credit for conceptualizing the
zoo, but as highlighted by John Elsner and Roger Cardinal s introduction in The
Cultures of Collecting, he was also the first collector. Granted it was under the
request of a higher power, but in some way every collection emphasizes a purpose
or some secret desire. While we can choose to believe this to be true or not, the
lesson to be taken here is that collections can be thrust on its collector. Two of the

people are the ancient people of northern Europe (Scandinavia, Iceland, Denmark,
Northern Germany etc.) (World Book 259). A major difference between Norse

Where as in Greek mythology there is a subconscious good and bad categorizing of
your deeds and actions during your life rather than how you died. Another difference
is the creatures. In Greek mythology there are three basic non human creatures: the
gods, the titans, and the nymphs. In Norse mythology there are 5 main non human
creatures: the Aesir and Vanir (gods), the Jotnar (giants), the ГЃlfar (ГЃlfar),
SvartГЎlfar (dark ГЃlfar), and the Valkyries. The Aesir and the Vanir are your basic
extraordinary immortals, though in Norse mythology the gods were thought to be
mortal, only kept immortal by eating the apples of Idun. However, they could be
slain even if they ate the apples. The Jotnar were giants or the Norse equivalent to
the Greek titans, but the Jotnar did not fight with the gods in a war like the titans did
with the Greek gods. The ГЃlfar are lesser gods that control nature. ГЃlfar are viewed
as gods of fertility due to their connection to nature (agriculture specifically); they re
not actual gods in the sense it is used but more so magically inclined creatures.
Finally are the SvartГЎlfar or commonly referred to as dwarves, trolls, dark ГЃlfar,
or black ГЃlfar. The SvartГЎlfar aren t anything like the ГЃlfar; they are regarded as
being small, disfigured people who dwell in mountains and mounds and hate the light.

Dog Allergens Essay
Although domestic dogs (Canis familiaris) are among the most abundant of
household pets, the prevalence of clinically relevant allergic diseases caused by
dogs is lower than that for cats. Still, senisitivity to dog allergens can be a major
cause of allergic symptoms (and even severe manifestations such as asthma) in
susceptible individuals, and it is thought that up to 20% of the population in Western
countries exhibit some kind of allergy to dogs.
Major dog allergens
Three major dog allergens have been described in the literature Can f 1 (Canis
familiaris allergen 1), Can f 2 (Canis familiaris allergen 2) and serum albumin. They
can be found in saliva, urine, serum and dander of the dogs. Can f 1 is a major dog
allergen that accounts for approximately 50% of patients allergic to dogs and it
exhibits dimeric structure. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There is also evidence of a dog allergen that can cross react in 25% of Fel d 1 allergic
patients (i.e. patients allergic to cats).
Dander from all dog breeds is allergenic including poodle with notable differences in
the number and quantity of allergens. It has been shown that skin tests conducted in
different patients can vary across various dog breeds, although one study has shown
that such variations did not correlate with the patient s own perception of specific
breed allergy.
Hence even though different dog breeds have anecdotally been considered
hypoallergenic by patients and dog breeders alike, breed specific allergens have not
been isolated. Several studies have probed for potential quantitative or qualitative
differences in allergen production between various dog breeds with contradictory
results for hair length and protein patterns.

Women During World War 2 Essay
During World War II, the percentage of women in the workforce from 1940 to 1945
increased from 27% to 37%, which includes 350,000 women who served in the
armed forces. Most women had to get jobs due to the men having to fight in the
war. Women took jobs as nurses, engineers, chemists, photographers, message
decoders, spies, made airplanes and atomic bombs, and most of them, about 84%
worked in factories. The opportunity for women to get jobs allowed them to get
paid good money and gain job skills. For example, Lieutenant Elsie S. Ott was an
air nurse who helped with the transportation of wounded soldiers from India to
Washington D.C. so the soldiers could receive help. This was Elsie S. Ott s first
time riding in an airplane and caring for hurt soldiers, and she had no proper
training with transporting wounded soldiers. Lieutenant Elsie S. Ott was given not
only proper nurse training, but also was given the Air medal. She was the first
woman to get such a medal. Then, Margaret Bourke White was a photographer and

If you lose a piece of gear while you are in the field then the entire field op will stop
doing what they are doing and you will all search for that missing piece of
serialized gear. Losing a piece of gear could also be a direct violation of article 108
of the UCMJ. Violation of article 108 could possibly be resulted by a court martial
and bad conduct discharge and confinement for a year. If you are not being
responsible about gear accountability then that could potentially find its way back
and make your higher ups look bad. Another reason that gear accountability is
important is because all of the gear that you are issued is re issued to another
marine after you turn it back in that is why it is also important that you do not lose
any of you gear no matter how big or small that piece of gear might be. If you lose
enough gear then when you get court martial then you are actually spending more of
the marine corps money and making them waste their time doing all of the paper
work because you did not want to be accountable for your gear. another reason why
the marine corps is so strict on accountability is that out of all of the branches of the
military the marine corps has the smallest amount of money and does not have to
money to go out and buy more gear that marines lost. Gear accountability is not just
important when you get to the fleet marine force but it is also important through
marine corps recruit training, marine combat training and also through your
Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT)
Introduction
The practice of using animals as therapy tools is becoming ever more popular and
common place in the mental health field. Animal assisted therapy (AAT) was
formally defined by the Delta Society as a goal directed intervention in which an
animal that meets specific criteria is an integral part of the treatment process (Kruger,
Trachtenberg, Serpell, 2004). The hope is that the specially trained animal will help
facilitate conversation, and subsequently healing, between the therapist and the client.
AAT is focused on improving the humans physical, mental, emotional, and social
functioning. Animal assisted therapy is not to be confused with service animals:
service animals fall under the category of animal assisted activities ... Show more

Horses have the physical ability to support a large amount of weight, and it has
been increasingly found that they have the same ability to do this with our
emotions as well. Therapy where a horse is involved is called equine assisted
therapy (EAT). EAT came to light in the 1980 s and it is defined as experiential
psychotherapy that includes equine handling, grooming, lunging, and riding
(Willerson). The practice of EAT has been found to be effective in working with
children, adults, couples, individuals, families and have been used to help with the
treatment and healing of individuals who have suffered from trauma, addiction, and
depression. The goal of EAT is not to train someone to ride a horse, rather, the goal is
to train them to learn to control, interact, and connect with their internal and external
The Importance Of Marketing Channels And Distribution
What is the importance of Marketing channels and distribution? Marketing channels
has been used in business operations for a long time. A marketing channel is made
by the people, organizations, and activities necessary to transfer the ownership of
goods from the point of production to the point of consumption. It is the way
products and services get to the end user, the consumer; and is also known as a
distributionchannel. Distribution channels is a network of firms that are
interconnected in their quest to provide sellers a means of infusing the marketplace
with its goods and buyers purchasing of those goods. (Iacobucci, 2013) Distribution is
one of the most important features that one must consider in undertaking even a
simple marketingchannel. Distribution and Marketing channels are very important
because they are the ones who help us find the products and services that we greatly
need. (Retrieve from Importance of Marketing) Today, electronic delivery sends
information to ones computers, smartphones, and other devices in ways that allow
for more immediate and continuous access anywhere, anytime, and with a better
filing system than paper notices. (Swire Ahmad, 2015) This allows customers to
receive electronic notices and interact with their accounts regardless of location,
which provides much desired flexibility and convenience. Therefore, one needs to
know the important role that marketing channels play to help the company succeed.

Theme Of Empathy In The Cask Of Amontillado
Remorse is a product of a deep regret which is brought upon by empathy, something
in which the character Montresor in the story The Cask of Amontillado by Edgar
Allen Poe claims he does not possess, as he desires to commit the perfect revenge.
This paper argues that the em dash used in the cask of amontillado signifies that
Montresor feels remorse for his actions but rapidly recomposes himself, as the em
dash allows him to blame his feelings on account of the dampness of the catacombs
(pg.854). But, in doing so proves that perfect revenge is unattainable, and Montresor
is left to pretend that he is unable to feel empathy.
The em dash in this story suggests Montresor feels remorse but wills it away. But in
doing so, proves that perfect revenge is nonexistent. No matter how deep the hatred
may be for Fortunato, Montresor is only human and as such, his consciousness and
empathy take control of him. This new found realization and remorse is quickly
overcome, regaining his composure by stating his feelings occurred on account of
the dampness of the catacombs (pg.854). Thus, the em dash displays how quickly
the entire mood of a situation can change. Montresor was able to swiftly recover his
composure and as a result it would seem as he had no feeling of remorse although, the
opposite is true. His remorse is further shown when after 50 years he said [rest in
peace] (pg.854). Montresor still has some remorse left in him even after this
extended period thus his need to ask
Fate And Free Will In Mary Shelley s Frankenstein
Destiny is, was, and always will be; by definition, destiny is something to which a
person or thing is destined for: fortune. Justifying your poor decisions on a fictitious
idea of destiny is a foolish way to validate the irresponsible actions committed; Both
Victor and the Monster believed that they were destined to make the decisions they
made and therefore were not at fault for the repercussions. Destiny, or at least in the
eyes of our main characters, is something that cannot be derailed, only postponed.
Their mindset was that everything was going to happen anyway, and therefore they
illogically reflected their blame on things other than themselves. Fate was something
that blinded them to the real world, and was thus their downfall. The largest factor in
Victor and the Monster s poor decisions was their inability to see that they were the
creators of their destiny.

his life, but also that his poor decisions were not his fault but fate s. Victor alludes
that he is not to blame for his choice in authors, but that he was destined to be

Isaac Newton Gravity
Gravity. We all know what it is, and we take that for granted. But, as all great
discoveries, there was a time before gravity . Of course, it existed, just people didn
t really know about it, or how it worked. That is, until the year 1687, when Isaac
Newton came about. But first, let s back up. Isaac Newtonwas born on December 25,
1642. Funny how he was born on Christmas. A Christmas miracle perhaps! What
wasn t a Christmas miracle, however, was that Isaac s father also named isaac
newton, had died just three months before isaac had been born. When Isaac was
three, his mother remarried a man named Reverend Barnabas Smith. Like all good
storylines, Isaac resented his stepfather. He even held a grudge toward his mother
for marrying him. When he confessed a list of sins by the age of nineteen, one of
them was Threatening my father and mother Smith to burn them and the house over

Granath. While he was there, he was taught latin, greek, and was probably a great
deal of mathematics. Unfortunately, he was removed from the school, and by october
of the year 1659, was back home where he grew up in Woolsthorpe by Colsterworth,
where his unfortunate mother, widowed for the second time, tried to make a farmer

Passive tags
Passive tags can be either battery or non battery operated, as determined by the
intended application. Passive tags reflect the RF signal transmitted to them from a
reader or transceiver and add information by modulating the reflected signal. A
passive tag does not use a battery to boost the energy of the reflected signal. A
passive tag may use a battery to maintain memory in the tag or power the electronics
that enable the tag to modulate the reflected signal.

Title: Thoreau and Emerson
In today s society each individual has the ability to thinks for themselves, but the
inception of different ideas and thoughts has led to a population that s dominated by
the majority . We live in a society where a media, television and internet are the
sources of manipulating a person s mind. It also creates their mindset to determine
how one think about themselves or and different view point on topic. In this
particular essay I am going to be talking about two main people who had similar
argument about how to be individual and not let government take control over your
lives. Ralph Waldo Emersonand Henry David Thoreau were most influential writers

It is not desirable to cultivate a respect for the law, so much as for the right. The
only obligation which I have a right to assume is to do at any time what I think
right. It is truly enough said that a corporation has no conscience; but a corporation
of conscientious men is a corporation with a conscience.(127) And in Self Reliance
by Emerson: To believe your own thought, to believe that what is true for you in
your private heart is true for all men, that is genius. (109) To develop into an
individual is to make every choice based upon your own personal belief, no matter
what society says, and to act upon your belief . Emerson thought that all great
works were products of individualism and self reliance, claiming that: In every
work of genius we recognize our own rejected thoughts: they come back to us with
a certain alienated majesty. Great works of art have no more affecting lesson for us
than this. They teach us to abide by our spontaneous impression with good humored
inflexibility then most when the whole cry of voices is on the other side. Else, to
morrow a stranger will say with masterly good sense precisely what we have thought
and felt all the time, and we shall be forced to take with shame our own opinion from
another. (109)
Emerson considered individuality as doing whatever he wanted and ignoring what
the people think, which we can find in his words: What I must do is all that concerns

Chlororphyrin And Therapeutic Analysis
Complexation of porphyrin with the metal will cause the shifts of Q bands in the
UV Vis spectra in the range of 500 700 nm as shown in Figure 2.7. This can be
observed by the disappearance of two Q bands out of four as the porphyrin
undergoes the change from D4h symmetry to D2h symmetry (Rita Giovannetti,
2012). The Q bands were denoted as О± and ОІ. The coordination of porphyrin to
Ni(II), Sn(IV) or Pd(II) which can form stable square planar complexes generally
consists of a higher О± peak (Figure 2.7 (A)), while the coordination of porphyrin to
Cd(II) which forms a complex that can easily be displaced by protons will show a
higher ОІ peak (Figure 2.7(B)).
The common solvents and counter ions employed in the synthesis metalloporphyrin
are chloroform, methanol, dimethylforamide, acetate buffer, pyridine, metal carbonyl
and acetylacetone. In general, the selection of solvent depends on the solubility of
porphyrin. For example, the chloroform was selected for metallation of meso
tetraphenylporphyrin (TPP) due to the solubility of TPP in chloroform. Besides, the
metal counter ion as carrier of metal should be considered as well, as the solubility of
metal salt also affect the metallation of porphyrin. ... Show more content on

The More Factor Essay
In The More Factor author Laurence Shames explains that Americas fascination of
wanting as much of everything as possible has played a key role in building this
nations character and has been evident through Americas short history. Laurence
Shames claims that the so called ethic of decency has been absent in the American
way of life and replaced by an ethic of success . While Shames has a valid point, I
consider the lack of emphasis on decency and contentment in America a positive
rather negative. Shames suggests that in the 1800 s Americas love of possession and
want was born. The Wild west was a frontier that created opportunity which led to
more. Shames uses the idea of expansion, the Wild West, and the frontier... Show

If people were simply content with what they already had then what would be the
point of living because everybody would be the same. Dennis Rodman is a perfect
example of this. Dennis Rodman made it to the NBA as a normal basketball
player, but he wanted more along with a different kind of success. To do this
Rodman disregarded decency and created an image and in effect created a name
for himself. A name that would be known and remembered. By cutting off the idea
of more and simply being content with being decent we would kill our own
dreams. I like everyone else am going to college to get an education and get a job,
but my dream also is to play soccer professionally and that is also why I m going to
college. I m not content with just a normal job I want to play soccer and be
known. Everyone has dreams. Shames wants us to create an ethic of decency and
an ideal of contentment instead of an ethic of success , but if we lost the want of
more and ethic of success we would lose our dreams, morals, hopes and ambitions
we created in our minds for ourselves as individuals. If this happened individualism
would be lost then America would be filled with people doing just enough to get by
and would be a boring place to live because everyone would be thinking the same

The Importance Of Football In Friday Night Lights
Within sports, pressure is always there; you have to learn to deal with it. H. G.
Bissinger s book, Friday Night Lights, hones in on the football team the Permian
Panthers of Odessa. Through this focus on the team, one can see how football is an
integral part of the town thriving, maintaining its hopes and dreams. Despite the
racial and social divide within the community, those Friday night games become a
place where dreams may be made possible. In this way, sports, specifically football,
not only have an impact on the playersbut the community as well.
Within the novel, one can see how athletics, specifically football, holds more
importance than education for the town of Odessa. Because of this, players on the
team start to be treated differently, like men rather than teenagers. In which, players
become improperly prepared for the future and tend to only make it out of Odessa
through athletic ability alone. As for one of the players, he learns the hard way
the effects of such emphasis on athletics over education: I ve got no idea what I
want to do. I ve got no idea what school I want to go to. My SAT won t be worth a
shit. And no football school wants me. (Bissinger, Epilogue) This highlights sports in
society, as well as the four agents of socialization due to parental and educational
impacts. Because of this, players follow a path that has been shaped for them rather
than shaping their own path, causing future difficulties. For the case of Permian
Panther players,

An underlying theme in the film is that of being environmentally friendly. The hip

word façade is most commonly used in regards to architecture, which defines it
as an outward appearance or the face of a building, but it has also come to be tied
to the psychology of an individual. A façade in regards to psychology is associated
with an outer falsehood that conceals an internal element of the individual, which
they do not want visible. Often they maintain the façade in order to be more

The Debate on Wage
The Debate on Wage
The debate on wage is something that has become known as what I could call a
very fluent topic among voices of people that live in the United States today. People
that walk and live within the borders of this beautiful country are crying out for help
from any state or government official who is willing to lend an ear and listen to
what is really happening behind these closed doors.
How is a family supposed to survive off a minimum wage salary and be able to
support the activities and daily functions that occur in life without having the
proper funds to spare? Or how is a single mother such as myself, who is trying to
put herself through college, work a full time job and struggling to make ends meet,
supposed to get by when the salary that is being taken home, isn t enough to even be
able to put proper food on the table. We need to be able to come together during this
struggle and come up with a compromise that could work for the system and the
people. I side with raising the minimum wage within these sheltering borders and feel
that the reasons behind my decisions make that unmistakable.
What some fail to realize is, is that, someone who works full time at a minimum
wage paying job is only making around $14,500 a year. (http://thinkprogress.org

World War II. The children escape to an old man s mansion where they find a
wardrobe that has a magical doorway to a mystical land called Narnia. While they
are walking in Narnia their brother wonders off and finds the evil White Witch who
lures him in through gluttony away from the siblings. The others find out more
about the mysterious land through other talking animals and eventually make
their way into a camp. The camp they find has the protector of the land as their

the battle, the siblings were crowned Kings and Queens of Narnia in place of

the children are adults now, and they stumble across the other side of the wardrobe

The Oppression Of Indigenous People In Canada
Due to disassociation, assimilation, oppression, systemic and systematic erasure and
violence, Indigenous peoples have been purposefully silenced at almost every
moment of interaction with Canada.
Many Indigenous peoples have been strategically silenced since birth. Their names
were changed for number tabulations, cultures were suppressed and languages were
stolen from Indigenous children and their future generations. These actions were
sanctioned by the Catholic Church, manipulated by political leaders and, ultimately,
enforced by the government of Canada. The consequences of these actions rippled
through the institutions and cultivated into the consciousness of settler and colonial
populations. Indigenous children were subjected to an education which stripped them
of their identities and forced them into lower class, lower labour positions.
Indigenous education was created solely to meet the desired needs of subsistence of
Euro Canadian peoples.
During the wars in which Canada participated, Indigenous peoples were rarely

This belief simultaneously oppressed and exotified Indigenous peoples. Indigenous
peoples were forced to assimilate into a society that never intended to embrace them.
National and local newspapers generally ignored the lives of Indigenous peoples.
Instead, they only discussed issues of Canada helping Indigenous peoples or
discussed cultural differences that seemed exotic and entertaining. The exotification
of Indigenous cultures and traditions further discriminated Indigenous peoples by
creating a divide between what was considered socially acceptable and what was not.
Indigenous peoples were strategically ignored and erased from the Euro Canadian

modern society, especially when the individuals are minors. The two eminent schools
of thought on treatment of these disorders are: therapeutic options, such as Cognitive

medical options aimed at curing medical illnesses within the patient. Amidst the host
of psychological disorders frequently diagnosed in children is Attention Deficit

This is made possible by forceful alterations conducted by these chemicals once they
are introduced into the blood brain barrier. Alterations affected in such manner do
offer a much needed change in behavior at the expense of one s natural ability to
change moods in response to one s surroundings. For example, my nephew, who is

such occasions occur. Once such transitions do occur, the shift is one from

King Louis XIV and Cardinal Richelieu transformed France s feudal monarchy to an

Oui mon frГЁre, je suis un mГ©chant, un coupable,
Un malheureux pГ©cheur tout pleine iniquitГ©,
Les plus grand scГ©lГ©rat qui jamais ait Г©tГ©;
Chaque instant de ma vie est change de souillures;
Elle n est qu un amas de crimes et d ordures;
Et je vois que le ciel, pour ma punition,
Me veut mortifier en cette occasion. The language used is extremely depressing,
almost showing that it is out of character for Tartuffe to do such a thing, he just
feels that he should confess as he is under Orgon s roof and shouldn t make his son
out to be a liar. This is what Orgon believes, and although the audience knows
differently, Damis is still asked to leave Orgon s house, showing Orgon, a very
religious man, being completely hypocritical, as he is undermining his family. Orgon
Freshman Year Change
The behaviors, attitudes, and priorities of students change from the freshman year to
the senior year. Throughout the four years of high school, students mature and grow
into an unbelievably different person. When most students first start their freshman
year of highschool they are nervous, anxious, and afraid. By the time their senior year
comes, they are confident and ready to tackle whatever challenge their teachers throw
at them. For example, one studenthad a conversation with their teacher about their
GPA and after explaining their story about why their GPA is so low, their teacher
praised them and let them know that they are so much more capable of doing things
that their grades were showing. Some teachers help higher the amount of self

пјЌ2015 Exchange Exhibition of Asia Contemporary Ceramic Art
River flows from the side of the hill named Xiangshan; Students work in the quiet
garden view campus, which the buildings there are decorated with historical ceramic
tiles.
For students and teachers, having a chance to be in this cultural environment is a
life s fortune. Although today s social life is so different from the past, people are
getting harder to focus on pure academic research because of the distractions from
daily affairs. Especially for higher degree students that rely on independent research,
which provides freedom, but also brings the problems of shallow research. Currently,
the higher degree education in contemporary ceramic art of Asian should construct its
own value system that suits Eastern culture and aesthetic. The views of above aspects
had formed the exhibition s main concept.
The Asian art academies are facing the same situation in the higher degree
education of ceramic art. The day to day teaching needs new energy and clear
direction; the homogeneity in teaching should be avoided, and the lack of
uniqueness should be made up. So, we need to focus on the root of problem and
plan ahead. The scholar Zhu Xi has asked in his book The Feeling Arisen By
Reading: Asking why the river is so clean; it is because the fresh water always comes
from the fountainhead. It is talking about the happening of developments need fresh

Foil Characters In Lorraine Hansberry s A Raisin In The
Sun
A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry features a set of characters that are not
only complex in every way, but also vastly important to bringing out the intricacies
of the play. One example of this is the contrast of George Murchison and Joseph
Asagai. These two foil characters have similar roles in the plot; they are both non
white men of around the same age with the same amount of education. The two men
also play a role in the life of Beneatha Younger as possible love interests. However,
despite their similarities, their most important aspects are what set them apart from
one another and highlight the most profound themes of the play. George Murchison
is an American of African descent from a fairly wealthy family. The epitome of class,
Moderate Objectivism By Pojman And Fieser
The first objection to Moderate Objectivism the objection to the Functionality
Thesis brought forward by Pojman and Fieser. The function of morality, as
claimed by Pojman and Fieser, is supposed to serve everyone s interests or at least
those who are affected. Thrasymachus claims that the strongest members of the
society make up justice to control the weak and benefit themselves. When the weak
does justice , this is no more than performing an action that serves to benefit the
elite class at large. (Luco, notes) In addition, societies have followed and still do
follow moral principles that only seem to benefit an elite class of people. This can be
seen from several case studies:
1.The 19th century saw a hardening of institutionalized racism and ... Show more

However, Pojman and Feiser claims that while this may be true, Moderate
Objectivism can still be justified. Moral principles, in the view of Pojman and Feiser,
are constructed artifacts with a characteristic function, and such function possesses 2
distinct traits:
1.An artifact can be used to achieve a goal which is not its function. For example,
cough syrup contains an essential ingredient known as dextromethorphan (DXM).
This ingredient, when consumed in large amounts, can cause one to get high. An
appalling statistics in a 2008 study found that one in 10 American teenagers has
abused products with DXM to get high. The function of the cough syrup was to cure
cough symptoms and it has been abused to get people high.
2.Artifacts can malfunction. An artifact can fail to perform its function, while
continuing to have that function. For example, a handphone can catch fire while
charging and a soccer ball that cannot be inflated. Both of such items are created to
perform a specific function but they fail to complete that intended

Ozark Christian Research Paper
I was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on February 22, 2002 to Matt and Rachel Eilers I
was born at Mercy Medical Center. On the twenty third of February I got to go to
my home at 7526 Cattail Ct. NE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. My room had blue curtains; I
still can remember it. My brother was born on October 11, 2006. At the age of 5
years old I had brain surgery due to my Chiari malformation. I went to kindergarten
on August 20, 2008 at Holloway House. My preschool and kindergarten teacher was
Mrs. Varn.
I am attending Isaac Newton Christian Academy for middle school. I am planning to
go to Isaac Newton Christian Academy for High School. So if I end up going to Ozark

Most of the people from Antioch end up going to Ozark Christian College. When I
am at college I will obviously live in Joplin Missouri
In five years where will I be? Well, I hope that I will be starting college or saving
money to start college at Ozark Christian College. In twenty five years I hope to have
found a girlfriend or to have made a girl a wife. Also, I will have wanted to complete
culinary school. In thirty five years where will I be? Well, I hope that I will have
begun to be getting close to opening my restaurant. Fifty years from now where will I
be? I sure hope that in fifty years I will have a wife and a child as well as a good
reputation as being a good food chef that is at least locally known as one of the best
chefs in the local area.
I hope that God will bless me with many happy years of life and a wife that I can
love and cherish. I have no idea how long that I will live because tomorrow s not
promised. Life is a gift. If my couriers do not work out I hope that I can be blessed in
some kind of technological position. So if becoming a chef ends working out I will
close my restaurant on Sundays to worship God by remembering the
Importance Of Social And Cultural Concerns In School...
It is essential for school counselors to become culturally sensitive and to take the time
to understand the diverse population at their schools by reflecting on their own
cultural awareness. I believe that all students are entitle to a proper education. In my
class Social and Cultural Concerns in School Counseling, I gained knowledge on how
important it is to be aware of our own bias and prejudices within all the different
cultural background from our students. I find it important to continue to learn more
about each culture to get a better idea of why and how students think a certain way, as
different cultures value education differently. For example, in the Native American
culture, it is valuable to incorporate the student s family (whomever the student
identifies as their family) when dealing with hard situations in order to have a better
outcome. Therefore, it is also important to be mindful of culture sensitivity and
maintain that level of comfort in a professional manner to better serve our students.
Schools are educational institutes that may have a diverse population depending on
the area. As far as University High, the student population is culturally diverse,
serving approximately five hundred twenty four students, of which the majority are
Hispanic. University High is a college prep high schooland in order to be granted
admission, students must summit an essay and take a test. Therefore, all students are
one hundred percent proficient in English and do not have any limitations to their
learning environment. But, since University High is house with Tolleson Union High
School, there is a more diverse population, including those with limited English and
learning disabilities.
Human Growth and Development When I considered pursuing a Master degree in
School Counseling, I always envision to work in the high school level because I
really want to make a difference in the student s decision in their post secondary
years. I am first generation attending college and feel this gives me a strong
opportunity for students to relate, as I am aware of barriers they may face. I think
that adolescents in high school need extra guidance as they face different challenges
such as self identiy, relationships, and
Gerrymandering Case Study
Rebecca Sperberg 3AB Current Event #4 The state of Maryland has been battling
unconstitutional gerrymandering for years now. According to Washington Post
writer Robert Barnes, recently the Supreme Court granted Steve Shapiro a Maryland
man continuance in the lawsuit regarding the state s congressional redistricting being
unconstitutionally gerrymandered. Lower courts were proved wrong by the Supreme
Court for attempting to dismiss the lawsuit. Maryland democrats adjusted district
lines in favor of their political party to win over seven of the eight congressional
districts. Maryland Governor Larry Hogan s spokeswoman stated that the lawsuit
shines light on the political influence taking place when redistricting occurs. The case

Essay about Leonard Peltier Should be Released from Prison
Leonard Peltier is currently serving time in the Leavenworth federal penitentiary for
the shooting deaths of two Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) agents. According
to FBI documents, at around 11:50 A.M. on June 26th, 1975, agents Jack Color and
Ron Williams were supposedly searching for Jimmy Eagle, a thief wanted for
stealing a pair of cowboy boots. The agents encroached on the Jumping Bull
Compound in Oglala, South Dakota of the PineRidge reservation, in two separate
vehicles that no one could recognize (Incident). In this area, there were several
members of the American Indian Movement(AIM). After the intrusion of the agents,
someone and it is unsure who fired a shot and a shootout began. By the end of the

In fact, the evidence is so inconclusive, contradictory, and vague that reasonable doubt
abounds when one tries to objectively look at the evidence at hand.
The evidence linking Peltier to the shooting of the either of the agents is non
existent. First, there are major problems with linking Peltier to any gun that may
have caused a fatal injury. According to FBI documentation, the FBI found a
damaged AR 15 rifle in the burned out car of another AIM activist, Robert
Robideau, who was also at the Jumping Bull Compound on the day of June 26, 1975
(Incident). The FBI later would assert that the gun was Peltier s, and that it was
matched to a shell casing found in the trunk of one the agents cars.
However, according to a documented FBI ballistics test carried out on October 12,
1975, the AR 15 rifle found in Robideau s car didn t match bullet found on the
scene; even if it is assumed to be Peltier s gun, the gun cannot be linked to any
bullets found in the crime scene (Incident). The FBI also did another, less effective
form of test on the bullet that showed that the bullet might have come from the
damaged gun. (Incident) However, since the second method of testing was more
prone to fault, error, and interpretation of the agents, it should not be used in light of
the first. The best the FBI could prove from the test was that the bullet came from
Bisphenol Research Papers
Abstract
Most consumers are unaware of the chemicals they ingest on a daily basis. Some of
these chemicals are added to ensure shelf life, taste, or texture. While others are
ingested by eating animals that have come into contact with chemicals in their

has proven otherwise. Using laboratory animals these chemicals have been shown to
increase the development of cancer, chromosomal defects, leukemia, reproductive and

The major sources of human contact and ingestion are through a water source
contaminated with Atrazine from a run off site and soil contamination. According to
the EPA The Maximum Contamination Level Goal for atrazine is 0.003 mg/L or 3
ppb (Agency, Basic Information about Atrazine in Drinking Water, 2013). However,
individual states are allowed to enforce more stringent guidelines. People who drink
water that has been contaminated with high amounts of Atrazine can develop
cardiovascular and reproduction problems. Atrazine has been shown to cause changes
in blood hormone levels in animals that affected the ability to reproduce (Registry,
2015).

The Case Of Eugenie Bouchard
Public or Private Law
The case of Eugenie Bouchard involves private law, because it involves two
separate individuals or small groups attempting to resolve a specific private dispute.
In order for a matter to involve public law, it must affect the general public or the
state, which would represent as one of the parties.
1. (a) This case would involve a civil action because Eugenie is alleging that the
United States Tennis Association was negligent, and that the negligence was
responsible for her injuries. Negligence is one of the three main types of torts, and
since a tort by definition is a civil wrong, this would definitely involve civil law.
(b) Eugenie filed a lawsuit against the USTA claiming they were negligent, causing
her to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The geographical location of the incident and the fact that Eugenie is filing a civil
suit means that there are two possible courts that could deal with the case: the New
York City Civil Court and the United States District Court for the Eastern District
of New York. The New York City Civil Court handles matters that would be defined
in Canada as small claims, it decides law suits that involve claims of up to $25,000
in damages. Although the specific dollar figure that Mrs. Bouchard is seeking in
damages isn t known to the public, she was forced to withdraw from a tournament
in which the first place prize is $3.3 million, so it is safe to assume that she will be
seeking more than $25,000 in damages.
(d)The purpose of the proceedings brought on by Eugenie Bouchard is to be
compensated for the potential earnings she lost by having to withdraw from the US
Open and miss other tournaments. Eugenie s desired outcome would be to prove that
she would have performed well enough to earn a significant amount of money had
she not slipped and suffered a concussion.
(e) In a civil matter such as this one, the amount of proof required would be
dependent on the balance of probabilities. In this specific case, Eugenie will have to
prove that is more likely that the USTA is responsible for her injury due to
negligence than Eugenie herself was, and, she will have to prove that it is more than
50% likely that she would have earned a significant amount of money from the
The Next Factor Of Public Opinion
The next factor involved was public opinion. Many were for campus carry because
they felt as if they had a fundamental right to be able to carry ( Strickland, 2016).
Several students and faculty helped shape public opinion by describing how it
would make their college experience a safe and better one ( Fernandez, 2015).
Many Texas residents believed that if they were allowed to carry they could then
prevent mass shooting ( Fernandez, 2015). This was a main argument of public
opinion. Though many were against campus carry the ones for it worked together to
help change the minds of people who did not believe that guns should be on campus.
They did this by describing that the number of students who would actually carry on
campus would be small and it would be older community college students (
Fernandez, 2015). Public opinion also helped the billpassbecause Texas is a
conservative state with 850,000 license holders ( Fernandez, 2015). They wanted to
make the public happy by passing the bill because the number of people for it
outweighed the ones against it. The opinion of people such as the universitys chief of
police spoke out about not being worried because it never had been an issue (
Fernandez, 2015). Students believed they had a right to self preservation and
should be allowed to carry ( Strickland, 2016). In the end Governor Greg aAbbott
had listened to people wanting to be allowed to carry on campus and decided he
would make the public happy
Target Essay
Ads and commercials are on everything from the billboards you see going down the
highway to the ads you hear on the radio or TV. Every company uses them in
different ways to try to appeal to different audiences. Whether it s the older
generations or the parents of newborn babies, all companies try to appeal to people
in order to sell their products. Target is a department store that has been around
since 1962 and they have grown and prospered ever since the beginning. Target is a
branch off of the Dayton Dry Goods Company started in 1902 by George Draper
Dayton. Throughout the years the store evolved and adapted until they eventually
created the Target we know today in 1962. The first store opened May 1, 1962, in the

Target is trying to make it easier on them by putting everything in one store. Men
and women shop in very different ways. Men are more likely to make a list and
stick to and try to get in and out of class as fast as possible. Women, however, are
more likely to browse the aisles and look at everything that s in the store rather
than just what they need for themselves or the house at that moment (Wells). Target
shows the variety of items in their stores to help show the women in their store that
different items that they could find while browsing the store. By showing the
different products, it helps make the women want to go there because they can get
away from the busyness of life by spending times wondering the isles of Target.
Not only can the women get away from the stressfulness of life, if they are in a
rush they can get everything they could need in one stop. Women make up over
two thirds of the grocery shoppers (Goodman). Of course, not all of these women
are staying at home mom s or spouses so they need to get their shopping done so
that they can get back to the other parts of their lives. The same way that Target is
trying to appeal to women who like to browse when they shop, they are appealing to
those who need to get their shopping done in one quick stop. When showing all the
grocery items along with beauty products it allows the women to realize that they can
get everything they need for their
A Clean Well-Lighted Place Hemingway
In A Clean, Well Lighted Place, the central theme that Hemingway suggested is
that this older deaf man s life is viewed as nothing. Nothing to live for and nothing
more to do but sit in a cafГ© and enjoy a drink. He goes to this clean cafГ© to drink
away his despair that he is unable to deal with. Even though he has the cafГ© to go
to and drinkhe still leaves with feelingover nothingness and despair. As the older
man is drinking at the cafГ© one late night, he ends up having two waiters. One of
the waiters is an older man which seems to understand why the old man drinks away
his despair. The young waiter on the other hand does not. As we read further into the
short story, we learn a little more about the older deaf man and what he has dealt...
Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The only way the old man can deal with this feeling now is to sit for hours in a
clean cafГ©. Due to being deaf the old man can only enjoy the silence of the
cafГ©. Although he is sitting by himself in the cafГ© it is not the same as being
alone at home. The older waiter explains this when he states, It s not the same. You
do not understand. This is a clean and pleasant cafГ©. It is well lighted. The light
is very good and also, now, there are shadows of the leaves (154). The older waiter
also uses the word nada in a prayer. Indicating that not even the lord s prayer can
help him; Our nada who art in nada, nada be thy name thy kingdom nada thy will
be nada in nada as it is in nada. Give us this nada our daily nada and nada us our
nada as we nada our nadas and nada us not into nada but deliver us from nada; pues
nada (154). The older waiter understands what the old man is feeling. He is also
one that has feeling of nothingness. Like he has nothing to live for like maybe he is
also viewed as nothing. Both, the waiter and old man have a feeling of loneliness.
Being at a cafГ© just helps that feeling not feel as strong to them. Drinking helps
them with the despair because it makes life predictable. They have a routine of
staying up late at the cafГ©, going home, sleeping then doing it all over again. It s
probably the only thing they can control in their life. The nothingness they feel is
Essay on The Heightening of Airport Security after...
The Heightening of Airport Security after September 11th
Extraordinary challenges require extraordinary measures. The terrorist attacks on
America on September 11, 2001 required that we reform our nation s aviation
security system in fundamental ways. Three years after the Sept. 11 tragedies, how
far has airport and airlines come? It depends on the source. While it is important for
airports to heighten security after the attacks of 9/11, the policies of profiling
passengers are inadequate and a necessitate revision.
The most visible changes to boost airport securities may be on the airplanes
themselves. Many planes have installed bulletproof, locked cockpit doors to secure
the pilot and crew from the rest of the plane. Increased ... Show more content on

The process of screening and profiling has contributed to numerous complaints from
passengers who have been selected for additional screening. Passenger profiling at the
airport should not be the sole means of protecting our flying public from would be
terrorists. If a present security measure is found to prevent potential customers from
flying without providing a meaningful prevention to terrorism, that measure should
be relaxed or eliminated. Passengers profiling should be utilized in conjunction with
information received from our intelligence community. Close examination and
revision of this system is obviously necessary.
Our current profiling system is based on a computer program that was developed
several years ago. Many people have begun submitting formal comments to the
Privacy Office of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, urging it to stop airline
passenger screening programs that are administered by the Transportation Security
Administration (TSA). These programs allow travel authorities to access personal
information about each passenger from government and commercial databases
(Privacy Activism). Authorities who rely on these systems run the risk of
misidentifying individuals and tagging them as security risks. Some passengers have
even been forbidden to board planes (Street Beat). Travel authorities believe that this
sensitive data will help identify potential threats to

Cause And Effect Essay Writing.pdf

  • 1. Cause And Effect Essay Writing Writing a cause and effect essay presents its own set of challenges, requiring a thoughtful analysis of relationships between various factors and their outcomes. Crafting such an essay demands a deep understanding of the chosen topic, as well as the ability to logically connect different elements to establish causation. The process involves extensive research to gather relevant information and evidence to support the identified causes and effects. One difficulty lies in maintaining a clear structure throughout the essay. Ensuring a smooth flow of ideas, from introducing the topic and establishing a thesis statement to presenting evidence and drawing conclusions, requires careful planning. Striking the right balance between providing detailed explanations and avoiding information overload is another challenge. It's crucial to present a coherent narrative that allows readers to follow the cause-and-effect relationships without feeling overwhelmed. Moreover, selecting a compelling and well-defined topic is essential. Choosing a subject with ambiguous or weak connections between causes and effects can make the writing process more challenging. Finding the right balance between a topic's complexity and the available research material is crucial to producing a well-rounded essay. In addition, avoiding oversimplification is a constant concern. It's essential to delve into the depth of each cause and effect, avoiding superficial analyses that might weaken the essay's overall impact. Developing a nuanced understanding of the subject matter requires time and effort, making it a demanding task for writers. Despite these challenges, mastering the art of cause and effect essay writing can be immensely rewarding. It enhances critical thinking skills, encourages thorough research, and sharpens the ability to articulate complex ideas effectively. With practice, writers can overcome these difficulties and produce compelling essays that engage readers with insightful analyses of cause- and-effect relationships. If you find yourself struggling with this type of essay or any other academic writing task, professional assistance is available. Various online platforms, such asHelpWriting.net, offer services where similar essays and more can be ordered, providing valuable support to students seeking guidance in their academic endeavors. • 2. A More Perfect Constitution Summary A More Perfect Constitution Begins with Congressional Term Limits Professor Larry Sabato is the founder of the Center for Politics at the University of Virginia presents 23 proposals to revitalize our Constitution and Make America a Fairer Country. His book provides insight for a hard fought debate. Whether you like his suggestions or not or you agree with him or not, you have to respect anyone that can outwardly state that the United States Constitution as it has been handed down is outdated. This quest for reform I m sure would anger many political conservatives who believe that the Constitution that we know today, is not in need of any reform, and is just the true document that is has always been and should remain. There a few ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Do we presume to place the blame solely on our presidents, or do we consider the fact that the executive branch of government is much bigger than just the president, and how does that affect the running of the government in totality; more so the continuity of our government and the legislative branch. Continuity of government, just like business continuity plans of a corporation have existed since the 1950 s with overbearing threat of the USA v. USSR nuclear war prompted President Truman to develop a plan to ensure that the infrastructure of the government continued to operate under catastrophic conditions. Admittedly even though these efforts continued after Truman, some of these programs were allowed to lapse after the fall of the Soviet Union. Due to terrorist attacks in the mid 1990 s, President Bill Clinton signed an executive order requiring all departments and agencies to develop contingency plans for resuming critical functions following a disaster. George W. Bush s administration also tried to reestablish Continuity of Government programs. Progress has been made in some areas, but the progress does not include Congress in the event of a critical event. Article I of the Constitution gives all legislative powers to the Congress. Congress consists of two houses, the Senate and the House of Representatives, both Senators and Representatives chosen through an
  • 3. Inboard Target Market The entrepreneurial company I have decided to do my analysis on is Inboard. Their pitch was shown in episode 10 on Shark Tank. Inboard is a company centered on the sale of electric skateboards to urban areas. There are many electric skateboards out on the market, but the Inboard team believes that their product provides significant value over their competition. The main value that differentiates them from their competition lies within the product design. The skateboard that Inboard is selling has the only in wheel motor which allows the skateboard to be more versatile as a mode of transportation and it allows the consumerthe peace of mind of not having to perform any maintenance on the skateboard. The fundamental idea is that with this improved... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... They also have a side revenue stream of selling extra batteries for their skateboards that is similar to the razor/razor blades business model. In our chapter two discussion early in the semester we talked about how to come up with new business ideas and how to evaluate those ideas to see if they are a viable business opportunity. This concept is the first thing that came into my mind when learning about Inboard. The founders looked their own personal experiences and observed a widespread problem of transportation within urban areas. They then came up with this business idea of creating a versatile alternative mode of transportation that solved that problem. They were also observing trends when coming up with business idea. People were already trying to find alternative ways to get around urban areas such as riding a bike to work. The founders saw this trend happening and decided to provide a better alternative and work with the trend rather than against it. Using these factors the founders were able to evaluate if the business idea was indeed an opportunity. The idea was attractive because there is a large market that are looking for alternative transportation. The idea is durable because traffic will be a problem in urban areas for the foreseeable future. The idea is timely because it takes advantage of upward

Sometimes it lies within them, where they somewhat have control, sometimes it lies somewhere that can not be controlled, it could be in friends or people around you. When they do not have control, For the boys in Lord Of The Flies, by William Golding, Piggy is the slightest chance of hope that keeps the group from letting their id completely take over their sanity, therefore turning into complete and utter savages. When the group is hunting, their id takes over completely for a short period of time and they start chanting, Kill the pig! Cut his throat! Kill the pig! Bash him in! (114). The group wants to see violence, and wants the pig dead. During this period of pure brutality, their id is taking control, and in one perspective, they are all unified, just not in the right way. When Jack is taken over by his id, bad things happen, Jack began to dance and his laughter became a bloodthirsty snarling (64). Jack has been known as the antagonist in this book, and finally lets his id take over because he does not have anyone guiding him. Due to him not having a Piggy of his own, he does not have anything keeping his conscience holding away his
  • 6. Troll Bridge Written assignment: Troll Bridge We live in a society filled with norms, solid framework and expectations. We are expected not to fart at meetings or to tell every stranger we meet about our sexual preferences. Although it may seem that these appropriate behaviors are a pure reflection of our true selves it is not, according to psychoanalytic Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung. All humans have deeply stored inside their brains a subconscious mind, which is where all our truly desires are suppressed. These desires can be expressed differently. To take an example: Writers are often able to access a collective unconscious and use it to create artistic literary work filled with symbolism and features which are interesting to the psychoanalytic ... His fears are in the way for his desires and dreams: There are books I haven t read yet. I ve never been on an airplane. I can t whistle not really (p. 4, l. 35). So when he finally passes the troll, he has also suppressed his fears and has developed mentally. He has grown. The second time he meets the troll he is 15 years old, and talking a walk with Louise, a girl he is madly in love with. Jack is at now in his teenage years, and a lot of new feelings are circling around in his body. He has experienced a lot of thing. For example his first love, the possibilities of (punk)music, he has even learned to whistle, as he wanted to. All this experience in life is just perfect for the troll You have grown in life and experience. More to eat. More for me. (p. 6, l. 38). Just as Jack and Louise are about to kiss, the troll appears. Yet another important passage in his life and he needs to pass the troll again. Again, Jack reacts out of fear to be eaten, and his selfish self pushes forward Louise, even though he loves her so much. In this case Jack acts out of mere selfishness. And at the tip of death, his evil true self is revealed. The troll sniffs Louise but refuses to eat her because she is innocent: She is innocent, it said. You re not. I want you (p.7, l. 8). Which indicates the fact that Jack is guilty in being morally corrupt inside. Jack explains the troll that he
  • 7. Astrology And Greek Mythology . Whether astrology is accepted as true has yet to be determined. For centuries, astrology has been used to provide a deeper understanding of nature and identity. Astrology originates from Babylon developing from the belief that the heavens ruled man s fate. The Babylonians were the first to apply myths to constellations and astrology. The Egyptians refined the Babylonian system of astrology and the Greeks shaped it into its modern form. It was through studyings of Plato, Aristotle and others that Babylonian astrology was introduced to the Greeks in the 4th century B.C.. Providing partial reasoning for the popularity of astrology is social media and the ability of networking to reach a large number of people. Astrologist and astrology meme generators collect followers by categorizing signs as literally anything, from cat breeds to hair aesthetics. • 8. The New Jim Crow Rhetorical Analysis Many believe that civil rights movements have completely eradicated racial injustices and inequality in the United States. Michelle alexander disprove this myth in her book The New Jim Crow. Alexander claims racial caste did not die with slavery. She implies that the racial caste system in America has been reformed multiple times to meet the needs and demands of current political climates (alexander 52). She believes that mass incarceration which she refers to as The New Jim Crow is the current caste system in the United States. By elaborating on the history of racial caste in America and by including quotes from politicians such as Nixon and Lyndon Johnson, Alexander effectively persuades her reader that the United States has not achieved... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... After rejecting conservatives idea that criminal behaviors are caused by black culture, Alexander said that poverty and inequality are the root causes of crimes. She then includes a quote from Lyndon Johnson, there is something mighty wrong when a candidate for the highest office bemoans violence in the streets but votes against the war on poverty, votes against the civil rights act and votes against major educational bills that come before him as a legislator (45). Alexander uses this quote to criticize politicians who purport that they want to reinstall law and order but vote against bills that fight the antecedents of crimes. This may spark a series of questions in the reader, such as if their motive is really to reinstall law and order, why aren t trying to eliminate the origin of crimes? Why are they ignoring them instead? Alexander is insinuating that these politicians want minorities in prison, where they can control them, supporting her argument that the government always tries to control minorities. This also supports her argument that the war on drug and law and order movements represent the new form control system in the United States. Michelle Alexander in her book The New Jim Crow makes the argument that racial inequality still exists in the United States

The Convention Of Philadelphia Convention Ya Gao Section time: W. 8:00am 8: 50am Philadelphia Convention, also known as Federal Convention, a meeting lasted for 3 months in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, not only revised the Articles of Confederation but also established the foundation of United States and created a new government. At that time in New York, there were two groups of people edited two different newspapers, The New York Journal and New York Packet. Though this convention worked in an agreement of secrecy, we still can get a lot of involved information by reading these newspapers. I chose three articles from the two newspapers to analyze, finding out that though there were cheerful expectations, the disagreements and doubts (which might lead to the birth of Republicans later) about the convention existed, and were even more than hopes. First article comes from the New York Packet on June 3rd 1787. This article was a letter from a Virginian man. His opinions about the convention were clear, supported the division of power while doubted the divisions of States. He assumed that If the respectable convention fail to establish a energetic government the reason would be the narrow minds, or selfish views of little politicians. We could know his obvious support for the establishment of a new government and contempt about the obstructions from shortsighted people in these words. This gentleman also believed that the advantages of dividing the Federal power into two

In 1513, Machiavelli wrote The Prince and gifted it to the Medici family with the original title of About Principalities. He first dedicated the work to Giuliano de Medici and later to Lorenzo de Medici. It was a political critique that was later printed under the title of The Prince in 1532. Politics played a significant role in his life. They not only provided him with the experience, but the character and will, with which he wrote. Evidence of his republican attitude are prevalent in his other works on principalities and republics (Strauss 182). In Ian Johnston s Lecture on Machiavelli s The Prince, he asserts his belief that Machiavelli wrote his treatise with satirical intent. ...The book is, first and foremost, a satire, so that many of the things we find in it which are contradictory, morally absurd, and specious are there quite deliberately in order to ridicule two things first, the Medici family itself and, second, the very notion of tyrannical rule embodied in the government of the Prince (hence, the satire has a firm moral purpose to expose tyranny and promote republican government) (Johnston Lecture on Machiavelli s The Prince). Due to the immorality advocated for in Machiavelli s writing, along with what is known of Machiavelli s politics, individuals often succumb to one of two beliefs regarding The Prince. The first is that he wrote The Prince in mockery of the princely states, specifically the Medici family. It was meant as a sort of caricature of their rule. The Medici family had long interfered with the republic of Florence. Cosimo, Piero, and Lorenzo, three successive generations of

MДЃori society was tribal; Each person belonged to a family (whanau), a sub tribe (hapu), and the full tribe (iwi). Perhaps it was their strong tribal ties that allowed the Maori to weather extended conflict, continuing to thrive well before European influence touched the continent. The first European to see New Zealand was a Dutchman called Abel Tasman, who arrived in 1642. Early travelers clashed violently with the natives and were not keen to return. The unpleasant first impression fresh in memory, the land was dubbed New Zeland after a Dutch province, and left relatively untouched until 1769. It would be the ocean s bounty that would entice Europeans back to the continent towards the end of the 18th century. First came the sealers, followed by the whalers at the beginning of the 19th century. These sailors began to cut wood from New Zealand for masts and spas, over time settlements began to sprout. LOTO is achieved when a device is placed on a switches, valves, circuit breakers, etc. so that reactivation of the equipment is forestalled. In addition, a warning sign must be put in place to show that maintenance activities are going on. Equipment is locked out whenever the flow of dangerous energy is cut off and the operation of the equipment is constrained until the lockout device is taken away. While equipment is tagged out implies that a warning tag is placed on it to inform others that the equipment is undergoing servicing and must not be operated. It is imperative that safety measures is utilized together to give an optimum level of protection for those performing the service (Iowa State University, 2004). However, the control of LOTO in industrial settings should be unified into production planning. This is done to focus on enhancing safety, reducing the rates of accident and removing the cost of accident avoidance. According to Charlot et al. Also, all injuries that arise from the release of accumulated energy when servicing, repairing, maintaining and

With the spread of colonies, there was an affinity to discover the unknown, or rather, the different. The nineteenth century paved the way for many sponsored expedition, looking for curios. Found object; vases, pots and pans, tools of everyday use, gained an importance, as curios. Nature has captivated the human cognizance since man first acquired tools, it would only be natural for the curiosity to extend to the subject of new flora and fauna. By means of collecting it is possible to establish a personal identity or characterize the other and often identifying this other as a conquest. This idea of conquest can be analyzed in the manner in which collection is presented, making presenting as important an aspect as the collection itself. The oldest zoological collection was a transportable one which contained every known species, however only two of each animal, one male and one female, collected by Noah as recounted in Genesis. Not does Noah get credit for conceptualizing the zoo, but as highlighted by John Elsner and Roger Cardinal s introduction in The Cultures of Collecting, he was also the first collector. Granted it was under the request of a higher power, but in some way every collection emphasizes a purpose or some secret desire. While we can choose to believe this to be true or not, the lesson to be taken here is that collections can be thrust on its collector. Two of the

Theme Of Empathy In The Cask Of Amontillado Remorse is a product of a deep regret which is brought upon by empathy, something in which the character Montresor in the story The Cask of Amontillado by Edgar Allen Poe claims he does not possess, as he desires to commit the perfect revenge. This paper argues that the em dash used in the cask of amontillado signifies that Montresor feels remorse for his actions but rapidly recomposes himself, as the em dash allows him to blame his feelings on account of the dampness of the catacombs (pg.854). But, in doing so proves that perfect revenge is unattainable, and Montresor is left to pretend that he is unable to feel empathy. The em dash in this story suggests Montresor feels remorse but wills it away. But in doing so, proves that perfect revenge is nonexistent. No matter how deep the hatred may be for Fortunato, Montresor is only human and as such, his consciousness and empathy take control of him. This new found realization and remorse is quickly overcome, regaining his composure by stating his feelings occurred on account of the dampness of the catacombs (pg.854). Thus, the em dash displays how quickly the entire mood of a situation can change. Montresor was able to swiftly recover his composure and as a result it would seem as he had no feeling of remorse although, the opposite is true. His remorse is further shown when after 50 years he said [rest in peace] (pg.854). Montresor still has some remorse left in him even after this extended period thus his need to ask

This can be observed by the disappearance of two Q bands out of four as the porphyrin undergoes the change from D4h symmetry to D2h symmetry (Rita Giovannetti, 2012). The Q bands were denoted as О± and ОІ. The coordination of porphyrin to Ni(II), Sn(IV) or Pd(II) which can form stable square planar complexes generally consists of a higher О± peak (Figure 2.7 (A)), while the coordination of porphyrin to Cd(II) which forms a complex that can easily be displaced by protons will show a higher ОІ peak (Figure 2.7(B)). The common solvents and counter ions employed in the synthesis metalloporphyrin are chloroform, methanol, dimethylforamide, acetate buffer, pyridine, metal carbonyl and acetylacetone. In general, the selection of solvent depends on the solubility of porphyrin. For example, the chloroform was selected for metallation of meso tetraphenylporphyrin (TPP) due to the solubility of TPP in chloroform. The More Factor Essay In The More Factor author Laurence Shames explains that Americas fascination of wanting as much of everything as possible has played a key role in building this nations character and has been evident through Americas short history. Laurence Shames claims that the so called ethic of decency has been absent in the American way of life and replaced by an ethic of success . While Shames has a valid point, I consider the lack of emphasis on decency and contentment in America a positive rather negative. Shames suggests that in the 1800 s Americas love of possession and want was born. The Wild west was a frontier that created opportunity which led to more. If people were simply content with what they already had then what would be the point of living because everybody would be the same. Dennis Rodman is a perfect example of this. Dennis Rodman made it to the NBA as a normal basketball player, but he wanted more along with a different kind of success. To do this Rodman disregarded decency and created an image and in effect created a name for himself. A name that would be known and remembered. By cutting off the idea of more and simply being content with being decent we would kill our own dreams. I like everyone else am going to college to get an education and get a job, but my dream also is to play soccer professionally and that is also why I m going to college. I m not content with just a normal job I want to play soccer and be known. Everyone has dreams. Shames wants us to create an ethic of decency and an ideal of contentment instead of an ethic of success , but if we lost the want of more and ethic of success we would lose our dreams, morals, hopes and ambitions we created in our minds for ourselves as individuals. If this happened individualism would be lost then America would be filled with people doing just enough to get by and would be a boring place to live because everyone would be thinking the same and have the same
  • 30. The Importance Of Football In Friday Night Lights Within sports, pressure is always there; you have to learn to deal with it. H. G. Bissinger s book, Friday Night Lights, hones in on the football team the Permian Panthers of Odessa. Through this focus on the team, one can see how football is an integral part of the town thriving, maintaining its hopes and dreams. Despite the racial and social divide within the community, those Friday night games become a place where dreams may be made possible. In this way, sports, specifically football, not only have an impact on the playersbut the community as well. Within the novel, one can see how athletics, specifically football, holds more importance than education for the town of Odessa. Because of this, players on the team start to be treated differently, like men rather than teenagers. In which, players become improperly prepared for the future and tend to only make it out of Odessa through athletic ability alone. As for one of the players, he learns the hard way the effects of such emphasis on athletics over education: I ve got no idea what I want to do. I ve got no idea what school I want to go to. My SAT won t be worth a shit. And no football school wants me. (Bissinger, Epilogue) This highlights sports in society, as well as the four agents of socialization due to parental and educational impacts. Because of this, players follow a path that has been shaped for them rather than shaping their own path, causing future difficulties. For the case of Permian Panther players,

The Debate on Wage The Debate on Wage The debate on wage is something that has become known as what I could call a very fluent topic among voices of people that live in the United States today. People that walk and live within the borders of this beautiful country are crying out for help from any state or government official who is willing to lend an ear and listen to what is really happening behind these closed doors. How is a family supposed to survive off a minimum wage salary and be able to support the activities and daily functions that occur in life without having the proper funds to spare? Or how is a single mother such as myself, who is trying to put herself through college, work a full time job and struggling to make ends meet, supposed to get by when the salary that is being taken home, isn t enough to even be able to put proper food on the table. We need to be able to come together during this struggle and come up with a compromise that could work for the system and the people. I side with raising the minimum wage within these sheltering borders and feel that the reasons behind my decisions make that unmistakable. What some fail to realize is, is that, someone who works full time at a minimum wage paying job is only making around $14,500 a year. The others find out more about the mysterious land through other talking animals and eventually make their way into a camp. The camp they find has the protector of the land as their leader Aslan; Aslan is the savior of Narnia from the evil White Witch. I believe that all students are entitle to a proper education. In my class Social and Cultural Concerns in School Counseling, I gained knowledge on how important it is to be aware of our own bias and prejudices within all the different cultural background from our students. I find it important to continue to learn more about each culture to get a better idea of why and how students think a certain way, as different cultures value education differently. For example, in the Native American culture, it is valuable to incorporate the student s family (whomever the student identifies as their family) when dealing with hard situations in order to have a better outcome. Therefore, it is also important to be mindful of culture sensitivity and maintain that level of comfort in a professional manner to better serve our students. Schools are educational institutes that may have a diverse population depending on the area. As far as University High, the student population is culturally diverse, serving approximately five hundred twenty four students, of which the majority are Hispanic.
