An establishing shot establishes the location at the beginning of a sequence. A two shot shows the relationship between two people conversing. Point of view shots involve the viewer by showing a scene from a character's perspective. Over the shoulder shots show what a character is looking at. Extreme high and low angle shots can make characters appear small and vulnerable or strong and powerful respectively. Canted angle shots create an odd or strange image.
