• Design standards for labeling the equipments and appliances.
• Develop specific energy consumption norms.
• Define the periodicity of energy audits.
• Design and develop energy reporting systems and formats.
• Recommend actions to be taken on findings of energy audits.

4. Standards and Energy Lebeling
• Bureau of energy efficiency has made it compulsory for every manufacture to paste
label on their product such as refrigerators, air conditioners, tube lights and lamps,
etc. to indicate the power saving and energy consumption so that consumer can be
aware about the energy consumption in the appliance.
