Project Objective
To embed inclusive design as a core part of the required
curriculum in the education of built environment professionals
with student assessments and Assessments of Professional
Competence that reflect this
• To work with the key built environment professional institutions to
champion the project within their profession
• The professional institutions to incorporate inclusive design principles
into the criteria they use to accredit courses and in their assessments of
professional competence
• The professional institutions to work with course providers to change the
curriculum
• Student assessments and marking systems to reflect the new approach
to teaching inclusive design
