Branding Myself
To make myself a Brand, Mohammad Mydul Islam. I am working hard. From my school to
University, I put value to my educational qualifications, personality, culture, engagement,
attitudes as well as all the things I need to lead a happier life. I learned, I followed, I am
motivated to achieve something unique. I am a student, so I have to sell myself to my target
customers. And as a fresh post graduate my target customers are recruiters on different
Companies, Banks, MNCs etc.
According to AMA (American Marketing Association), A brand is “name, term, sign, symbol, or
design or a combination of them intended to identify the goods and services of one seller or
group of sellers and to differentiate them from those of competition”.
From the meaning of above definition, yes obviously I am a brand. I have a separate identity and
I am different from others.
Identity:
I am Mohammad Mydul Islam. I am a student of Marketing in Bangladesh University of
Professionals. I am active, hardworking and dedicated person. I am from Barisal. I like to play
cricket, badminton and chess. Also, I like to create content for my audience on different learning
lessons and personal experience.
Differentiation:
As a student of BUP I am different from many ways comparative to others student. I am the CR
of major marketing section. Also, I am active and dedicated from others.
Goals:
My immediate goal is to set my career. But in the long run I want to be the marketing consultant.
I want to work with many Companies and guide them in different ways to develop their
marketing capabilities. With conventional marketing, I want to build my expertise in digital
marketing too.

I am engaged in many social media networks. In my social media activities, I share my personal
activities. But I also share some content and create content that can helpful for people.

I have a Facebook account and a Facebook page; both are on my name. Sometimes I don’t want
to add more friends than they can follow me on my Facebook page. In my Facebook page I
create content for students about different subject topics. Almost 130 people follow my page on
Facebook page and I have almost 1,800 friends in my Facebook account.

Branding myself is the practice of creating an image we desire to achieve an objective. I position
myself in a certain way. It is an ongoing process of maintaining and developing reputation or
image as an individual like an organization.
Personal branding defines how I can package myself for success. A personal brand is a
relationship with me as an individual. Process of personal branding is finding my identity,
differentiation and uniqueness, building a reputation on the things that I want to be known for
and allowed myself to be known for them. Ultimately, the goal is to create an image that conveys
a message that can create an unspoken introduction of myself to benefit my personal life.

I position myself in a certain way. It is an ongoing process of maintaining and developing reputation or image as an individual like an organization. Personal branding defines how I can package myself for success. A personal brand is a relationship with me as an individual. Process of personal branding is finding my identity, differentiation and uniqueness, building a reputation on the things that I want to be known for and allowed myself to be known for them. Ultimately, the goal is to create an image that conveys a message that can create an unspoken introduction of myself to benefit my personal life.
