Definitions of  Web 2.0  on the Web: a phrase coined by O'Reilly Media in 2004  to refer to a  “second generation”  of Internet-based services that   let people  collaborate and share information  online in new ways such as social networking sites, wikis, communication tools, and folksonomies.   opencontent.wgbh.org/report/glossary.html A trend in web design and development - a perceived second generation of web-based communities and hosted services (such as social-networking sites, wikis and blogs) which aim to facilitate  creativity , collaboration, and sharing between users. www.cpseo.com/glossary.html   A term that refers to a supposed  second generation of Internet-based services .
