This document presents a home automation project involving Bluetooth control of appliances. A circuit diagram shows a microcontroller connected to relays, a Bluetooth module, and a lamp. The microcontroller code is programmed using Kiel software and burned to the chip. When paired with an Android device via Bluetooth, appliances can be switched on or off remotely by sending data. Potential applications discussed include lighting control, HVAC control, security cameras, and presence simulation for vacant homes. Biometrics and touchscreen security systems are also mentioned as parts of home automation.
This project is called ‘Voice Controlled Home Automation project using Arduino’
which enables a user to control the home appliances through voice commands sent to
an Android app i.e AMR voice app.
Voice controlled home appliances - This project is designed to control home appliances using a voice-controlled Android application. A home automation system can be controlled via a remote and/or with home computers, and smart phones.
The past decade has seen significant advancement in the field of consumer electronics. Various ‘intelligent’ appliances such as cellular phones, air-conditioners, home security devices, home theatres, etc. are set to realize the concept of a smart home. They have given rise to a Personal Area Network in home environment, where all these appliances can be interconnected and monitored using a single controller.
Busy families and individuals with physical limitation represent an attractive market for home automation and networking. A wireless home network that does not incur additional costs of wiring would be desirable. Bluetooth technology, which has emerged in late 1990s, is an ideal solution for this purpose.
Home automation involves introducing a degree of computerized or automatic control to
Certain electrical and electronic systems in a building. These include lighting, temperature
Control etc.
This project demonstrates a simple home automation system which contains a remote mobile host controller and several client modules (home appliances). The client modules communicate with the host controller through a wireless device such as a Bluetooth enabled mobile phone, in this case, an android based Smart phone.
I made this project soon after completing my trainee period. This project was aimed at reducing human effort and allowing ease of access to differently-abled people. Home automation using bluetooth is really cheap to build and easy install in your home.

My Final Year Project - Individual Control Home Automation SystemMichael Olafusi
This project involves the design and construction of an individual control home
automation system using RS232, GSM technology and a microcontroller.
Home automation is the automatic or semi-automatic control and monitoring of
household appliances and residential house features like doors, gate and even the windows.
This project is a demonstration of how to design and build a multi purpose remotely
controlled system that can switch OFF and ON any electrical household appliance (including the security light), by dialling a phone already interfaced via RS232 to a microcontroller that controls a relay for the automatic switching on and off of the appliance and the phone will send a feedback short message service text indicating the new state of the appliance, whether switched ON or OFF.
The results of this project show that a microcontroller is a very powerful device for
building smart electronic devices that can automatically control electrical appliances, with little circuitry complexities and components.
This project is used to control electrical appliances or loads through a personal computer (PC) like theatre lighting can be centrally controlled from a PC.
Home automation or domestics is building automation for a home, called a smart home or smart house. A home automation system will monitor and/or control home attributes such as lighting, climate, entertainment systems, and appliances. It may also include home security such as access control and alarm systems.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.

Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!

5. • A printed circuit board, or PCB, is used to
mechanically support and electrically connect
electronic components using conductive
pathways, tracks or signal traces etched from
copper sheets laminated onto a non-conductive
substrate.
• When the board has only copper tracks and
features, and no circuit elements such as
capacitors, resistors or active devices have been
manufactured into the actual substrate of the
board, it is more correctly referred to as printed
wiring board (PWB) or etched wiring board.
7. 1.)The above diagram shows a microcontroller , 3
relays, a Bluetooth serial module and a lamp.
2.) The microcontroller is a PIC microcontroller and
it requires a 5 volt DC supply.
3.) We can use 9V DC battery or 12V, 1A adapter to
provide the supply to the circuit. For the above
circuit additionally you need to connect reset
circuit and crystal circuit to the controller to work
properly.

connected to the RXD and TXD pins of controller
9. 6.) Vcc pin is connected to the 5V and GND pin is
connected to ground. Controller communicates
with Bluetooth module using serial
communication (UART protocol).
7.) Use a baud rate of 9600 to communicate with
Bluetooth. If you want to change the Bluetooth
name and password then you need to use
Bluetooth AT commands.

12. How Bluetooth Controlled Electronic Home
Appliances Circuit Works?
1.) Write the program to the project in Kiel software and create
hex file
2.) Burn program to the controller with help of flash magic.
3.) Now give the connections as per the circuit diagram.
4.) While making the connections, ensure that there is no any
common connection between DC and AC supplies.
5.) Use 5V power supply circuit to provide regulated 5V DC to the
microcontroller.
6.) Switch on the both AC and DC supplies.
7.) Now relay output pins gets 12v so do not touch the load
connected pins.
8.) Install Bluetooth apk file in android device.
9.) Now pair android device with Bluetooth module.
10.) Send data to switch on the electrical loads.
