INTRODUCTION
• Home automation Systems represents a great
research opportunity in creating new fields in
engineering.
• Home automation Systems provide improved
energy efficiency.
• This project design of home automation using
ARM7 Controller.
4
Problem Statement
• While people are pursuing ever-growing high quality of their
lives today. This leads to more and more facilities and home
appliances include into their buildings. How to control and
manage these versatile facilities and appliances in a house?
• Usually conventional wall switches are located in different
corners of a house and, thus necessitate the need of manual
operations like pressing to turn the loads on or off. It becomes
very difficult for the elderly or physically handicapped people
to operate them. How to help them?
5
Project Objectives
To provide automation system which able to control
the home appliances wirelessly with effectively and
efficiently
1) Controlling Home Appliances via Switch.
2) Control through Wi-Fi and GSM.
3) Extensible platform for future enhancement.
6
SCOPES
This technologies that has been utilized by both
industrial and private sectors.
1) The system can be used in home, small offices to the
big malls
2) For the development of technology friendly
environment.
3) Password based
Locking System
4)Light Saving
System 7
RELEVENCE
• This system of operating or controlling a
process with reducing human involvement
• It is the monitoring of the energy consumption
and the Controlling
• Centralized & autonomous control of different
parameter
