1. The study investigated the effect of different concentrations of Shilajeet, a natural biostimulant, on wheat seed germination and enzyme activity. 2. Seeds treated with 10ppm and 100ppm Shilajeet showed increased germination rates of 12% and 24%, respectively, compared to untreated seeds. However, 1000ppm treatment inhibited germination. 3. Activities of the enzymes α-amylase, starch-phosphorylase, and hexokinase, which are indicators of seed germination, were higher in seeds treated with 10ppm and 100ppm Shilajeet compared to untreated seeds. 1000ppm treatment decreased enzyme activities.
