BIM - Building Information Modelling

Where is the budget for BIM? • The overall project costs – Remains 100 % – may not be increased for BIM • Only very, very few building owners are able to understand the need for BIM • Quality improvement by BIM is not yet well understood • => The budget has to come out of savings in the project – Reduce errors • Bögl: “Errors on construction sites are much more expensive than BIM and BIM‐Managers.
