                Discussion Question:
It’s not uncommon to hear frustrated teachers make flippant remarks about
students with hyperactive tendencies. For example, one teacher was
overheard saying, “Boy, do I have one who needs Ritalin!”. In small groups
discuss some alternative strategies for teachers who work with students with
ADHD other than medication. How might you act as a change agent to
counter negative attitudes some teachers have toward students with ADHD?
