“With more than 60 iconic media brands, IPC creates
content for multiple platforms, across
print, online, mobile, tablets and events. As the UK's
leading consumer magazine publisher we engage with
26m UK adults - almost two thirds of UK women and 42%
of UK men.”

IPC Media Ltd (formerly International Publishing Corporation), a wholly owned
subsidiary of Time Inc., is a consumer magazine and digital publisher in
the United Kingdom, with a large portfolio selling over 350 million copies each
year.
I think my music magazine ‘RIFF’ would work well with IPC Media and they
would think about distributing my music magazine. This is because although the
higher rating of buyers was female it is very close to being even, My target
audience was in fact even, they do not distribute to many magazine’s, However
they do distribute ‘NME’ and when making my media product, this magazine was
the one my product that was most like mine. So this would suggest that this
company would be interested in my media product. It also distributes more
niche products as it also distributes another magazine called ‘Uncut’ which the
music genre for that is more old school Rock, as well as NME’s genre being
mainly rock/alternative. My music genre is ‘Indie/alternative’ which is actually
quite popular in 2014 which could engage with more of a wider audience and
increase sales.
“Bauer Media is a division of the Bauer Media Group, Europe’s
largest privately owned publishing Group. The Group is a worldwide
media empire offering over 300 magazines in 15 countries, as well as
online, TV and radio stations.”

Bauer Media is a multi-platform UK-based media Group consisting of
many companies collected around two main divisions – Magazines and
Radio - widely recognised and rewarded as being industry innovators.
Although BAUER is such a well known company and distributes such
mass media productions I probably wouldn’t think that ‘RIFF’ would be
published here, just for the fact that my magazine attracts more of a
Niche market. Where as music magazine’s which are published by
Bauer are things like ‘Q’ magazine which is a very popular
magazine, which is open to a mass market as it isn’t just one select
genre. It also distributes a well known rock and metal magazine called
‘Kerrang!’ however this isn’t like my magazine at all.
