research literature, this chapter will discuss the experiential research used in this study with selected
African American pastors. It will also analyze burnout of pastors in Northeast Florida African
American by analyzing the results of the survey and burnout focus group.
Description of Sample and Procedure
Sample
Participants in the survey were Northeast Florida clergy who work in church districts of various
denominations.
Procedures
The sample was obtained by asking permission from individual to conduct this research. After
obtaining his approval, the survey packets that included a cover letter, demographic questionnaire and
burnout inventory were distributed to the participants who in early April 2016. Although
approximately 50 survey packets were sent to pastors in the area. Only 26 participants (52%)
completed the survey with usable data for the research. Some of the pastors have of a traditional,
conservative character, some declined to answer the questionnaire by saying that the subject does not
apply to them. Moreover, five were not in a paid pastoral position, six were not pastors, and two were

By 1765, at a Stamp Act Congress, all but four colonies were represented as the Declaration of Rights
and Grievances was passed. They were determined to let Parliament know that they were equal to
British citizens, that there would be no taxation without representation, and all efforts to stop tax on
colonists would continue (Kennedy, etal 2011.) Although Lord Rockingham, the predecessor of
Grenville, sought to repeal of the Stamp Act, this in no way meant Parliament was conceding their
control. In fact, while the Stamp Act was repealed, another called the Declaratory Act of 1766, gave
Parliament the authority to make laws binding the American Colonies, in all cases whatsoever. In
1767, George III passed the Townshend Acts to collect tax on glass, lead, paints, paper and, tea.
Recognizing that tea was a favorite among the Americans, it ensured greater revenue the British
government. Again, the colonists rights for representation were ignored and they started to boycott
British goods and ultimately, smuggle tea. When the Quartering Act was passed, which specified that
colonists were to give room and board to British troops, tension began to rise. For two years, the
colonists tolerated British troops on their soil and their dissatisfaction with the British Parliament and
King George III became evident through many violent riots, abusiveness of tax collectors and

Out of all the religions in the world Christianity and Judaism in my opinion have the most similar rites
and rituals. They also share many beliefs and flow many of the same rules. Even though some of the
rituals might seem like they are completely different, when you look deeply and find the true meaning,
you will see that most of the time they share the same message. But even with all of these similarities
its the differences that make them unique and these differences are what splits them apart. The three
main similarities in both Christianity and Judaism is the first step into adult hood, the last step into
adult hood and the Shabbat and the Sabbath.
In christianity the first step into adult hood is baptism. A baptism usually happened when you are still
a baby. The purpose of a baptism is to purify and surrender yourself to god. But this ritual doesn t
always happen at birth. Some parents will wait until there son or daughter is older so they can make
this decision for them selfs. Judaism has something that is a little unorthodox its called circumcision.
Circumcision is a process where they cut off a section of the foreskin. This also usually happens when

European Vacation My childhood was filled with weekend road trips with my family traveling to
surrounding states. Sitting in the back of our mini van with my brother watching Scooby Doo is one of
the best memories I have. As my brother and I got older, we started taking bigger trips. The first big
trip my family took was to Disney World, I can still remember the feeling of feeling the plane s wheels

incapable of learning. Looking at both class rank and GPA provides a more balanced picture, hence it
