Research.. 
 This is our research into the demographics of horror 
films, this made us to decide that the perfect age 
group for our production would be ages 15-35 for both 
male and female. 
 The difference in these statistics demonstrate that both 
genders enjoy watching horror films therefore when 
creating my own horror film plot and storyline I will make it 
appealing to both males and females. 
 The statistics above also refer to social class and the results 
show that the social class C2 enjoy watching horror films 
the most compared to other classes. This category consists 
of the skilled working class who have below average 
incomes, this factor is important when marketing the film
Putting together the focus 
group 
 We put together a focus group on facebook of 
teenage media students which all have an 
interest in horror films and are all In our age 
range.

 We used Facebook 
because this is where 
the majority of 
teenagers would be 
willing to answer 
questions and as 
these are our target 
audience this would 
be effective .
 Overall the favourite horror film was the 
supernatural horror film, This will inspire us to 
do a supernatural horror film for our opening. 
 It will also encourage us to take the fears 
mentioned into consideration when filming
