TARGET AUDIENCE
MOODBOARD
This power point will consist of
events/objects/actions/places/people
and so much more of what our target
audience involves themselves in.
Social Networking Sites
Our target audience age range will
start at 15 years old. As teenagers and
young adults are the most avid users
of social networking sites- this would
be an action they would fulfil daily by
posting and checking their accounts
online. As a production company, we
have used social networking sites to
connect to our audience.
Education
University
A Level
GCSE
The majority of our target
audience watching our film will
either be at University or taking
their A Levels, a small amount
of 15-16 year olds that will be
watching will be taking their
GCSEs. Also we will have over
25 years old audience
members that will be watching
the film.
Fast Food Restaurants
These types of places will be
where our target audience
members will ‘hang’ out and
socialise with their peers and
group members. As they will be
16 years old, they will typically be
seen in certain areas in a given
location. These places could be
useful to advertise in, if we were
to be intriguing this audience into
watching the film.
Shopping
Most, if not all of our audience
members will be fashionable and
will be shopping in high street
stores. We imagine our target
audience to have a quirky sense
of fashion, and to be ‘indie’, due to
our independent, arty film genre.
To aim to our audience and to
give them information on our film,
we will have billboards throughout
city centres, including our poster-
also on buses, taxis, bus stops
and underground transports- also
trains. This will inform them on the
release of the film throughout
cinemas.
Public Transport
Most of our audience
members will be relatively
young, meaning they cannot
drive or cannot afford it. This
means they will be the most
popular users of the public
transport throughout the UK.
We will have posters
throughout all public transport
to inform the audience.
Technology
All of our target audience
members will be users of the up
to date technology, including-
phones, tablets and laptops.
Meaning, we, as a production
company have to keep up with
the advancing technology and
immerse ourselves into the social
networking sites and so on.
