5. POINT OF SALE
My magazine would be sold in more conventional retailers. This is
because I want to bring back the original types of magazine that first
came to this world because I don’t think there is enough of them out
now. This will be okay for my target audience because they are capable
to go to the shop and buy one off the shelves.
6. ATTRACTIONS
My masthead is a very good selling point of my magazine. It goes back
to the more conventional look, this is because its big and bold and
covers the whole top section of the front cover of my magazine. In
relation to the name, ‘BACK2BACK’ I thought it was a cool and good
term for the type of magazine that I will be producing. I kept my
masthead a dark and bold looking colour because I wanted it to stand
out and be clear to everyone who got an eye of it. This in turn relates to
my target audience because they will be more mature than kids, who
have to have a colourful title to get there attention.
7. My cover photo stands out on my front cover because it is in front of
the masthead so before they read anything the first thing they see is
the cover image. This will encourage them to pick up the magazine and
read it. My target audience can relate to this image and consider him as
a role model, this will mean they will be interested in the article and
read what he has to say.

8. COVER LINES
My cover lines on the left and the right of my cover page below the
masthead. I used bold fonts to make them stand out and appear more
to an older target audience. I haven’t chose go for any type of fancy
writing or bubble because that wouldn’t relate to my target audience,
which is young adults.
9. LANGUAGE AND CONTENT
When writing my Double page spread article I focused the language heavily
centred around my target audience. Using words that I believe my target
audience would like to hear. Not children's language but more grown up
and mature. Using a main feature article that was of a similar age to my
target audience made it easier as my target audience can look up to him as
a role model and so decided to write my article in a interview format, this
allows my target audience to feel as if my main feature article is directly
talking to them and they get an insight into what he actually answers were.
This suits my target audience because it is more realistic if I use a interview
process because they can relate to it easier. I also based my feature answers
to be very fan based driven. Also I used alliteration to help my answers flow
to the cover lines/stories in order to grab the attention of the audience.
