Assure Day 5
A: The class is a 10th grade Honors History class with 21 students. There are 7 males and 14
females. The class consists of 9 black students, 11 white students, and 1 Native American
student. 1 of these students suffers from Autism but is high functioning and is well liked by his
classmates. Most students are visual learners and prefer class discussion.
S: -Audience: 21 10th
graders with a variation in cultures.
-Behavior: To be able to present their presentation on their favorite part of the American
Revolutionary War we had learned about throughout the week.
-Condition: Through Powerpoint, Prezi, Webquest, or any other type of presentation style as
long as they had what was in the criteria.
-Degree: 100%.
Objective: Students will present the knowledge that they have gained throughout the week about
the American Revolutionary War in a presentation type format. Students will use Podcasts,
QR’s, Vokis, Webquests, Media, and Materials (Posters) and any type of technology we have
discussed throughout the week for their presentation. Students should be able to present their
presentation flawlessly with 90%-100% accuracy.
S: -Method: Presentation and class discussion.
-Media: The Podcasts, QR and Voki, Media and Materials, Webquest (optional), Pinterest,
Facebook or whatever the students had decided to use in their presentation.
-Materials: Computers, Presentation, A-Game.
-Students drew numbers from a hat to see what the order was to see which group was going to
present first.
-The students then presented in their respected order.
U: -I had the students use 3 to 4 technologies we had learned about in class to use in their
presentation.
-I then used the computer and smartboard in order for the students to present.
R: -I then sat and watched al, of the presentations as well as the students watching the
presentations.
-I then asked questions to the group who had just presented and made the kids ask their
questions in which they were told to write down as the presentation was going on.
E: -I evaluated the students based upon a rubric in which I had made which is viewable on their
webquest. It was based off of historical accuracy, content, the presentation itself, and creativity.
-I also took into account every students grade on how they acted when another group was
presenting. If they were goofing off that was points deducted off of their grade. If they were
asking questions and going above what they needed to do, they received some extra points.

Objective: Students will present the knowledge that they have gained throughout the week about the American Revolutionary War in a presentation type format. Students will use Podcasts, QR’s, Vokis, Webquests, Media, and Materials (Posters) and any type of technology we have discussed throughout the week for their presentation. Students should be able to present their presentation flawlessly with 90%-100% accuracy. S: -Method: Presentation and class discussion. -Media: The Podcasts, QR and Voki, Media and Materials, Webquest (optional), Pinterest, Facebook or whatever the students had decided to use in their presentation. -Materials: Computers, Presentation, A-Game. -Students drew numbers from a hat to see what the order was to see which group was going to present first. -The students then presented in their respected order. U: -I had the students use 3 to 4 technologies we had learned about in class to use in their presentation. -I then used the computer and smartboard in order for the students to present. R: -I then sat and watched al, of the presentations as well as the students watching the presentations. -I then asked questions to the group who had just presented and made the kids ask their questions in which they were told to write down as the presentation was going on. E: -I evaluated the students based upon a rubric in which I had made which is viewable on their webquest. It was based off of historical accuracy, content, the presentation itself, and creativity.
  • 2. -I also took into account every students grade on how they acted when another group was presenting. If they were goofing off that was points deducted off of their grade. If they were asking questions and going above what they needed to do, they received some extra points.
