Digipaks are a type of cardboard or plastic packaging for CDs. They come in various sizes but most commonly hold one disk. Digipaks have a large front image related to the artist and include song, artist, and album information. Inside is a plastic holder for the CD and more printed packaging. Mainstream digipaks emphasize the artist's image through photos of them, money, jewelry or cars to connect with fans via social media QR codes. Indie digipaks promote their music's theme and emotions over the artist's image, using bright colors and nature or instrument images instead of the artist.

3. WHAT IS A DIGIPAK?
• Digipaks are a type of packaging for a
CD, normally made from cardboard or
plastic for one or more disks. Digipaks
can come in many different sizes, but
the most common size is 5.47" X 0.25" X
4.94"

4. WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT STYLES?
• Digipaks come in many different styles. The most common is a 1 disk
digipak, however you can also get a 6 panel digipak or a 2 disk digipak.
• On the front of Digipaks there tends to be a large-eye catching image
that has some relation to the artist or song. The song title, artist and
album name are also stated on the front. Inside the Digipak you will find
a plastic holder with the CD itself and more packaging (images/logos)
printed inside. On the back it will have the track list, record label, album
network and an artist image and name.

Males often try to flaunt what they have so money,

6. INDIE CONVENTIONS
• Has more about their theme rather than their image. They try to
promote their music through emotions.
• They don't use that many images of the artist in promotions.
• the colours that are used are sometimes bright colours to make it more
eye catching.
• Indie digipaks have pictures of their instruments like guitars or pianos
and the background would be a nature setting.
