This document discusses different types of objective and essay tests. There are two main types of objective tests: supply type where the student constructs their own answer, and selection type where the student chooses the correct answer. Objective tests can also be completion drawing type, completion statement type, correction type, identification type, simple recall type, or short explanation type. Essay tests give the student freedom to respond to questions based on their own views rather than choosing a predetermined answer.
