- In our discussion, I hope will conclude that seriously going after these goals is not a pie in the sky idea, but can be accomplished with a familiar roadmap. Ask yourselh how you personally contribute to the growth of market share in your business? I know you were here because you a passion about quality and what he can do beyond saving money- a noble goal by itself- in areas of other corporate responsibility. Per Pat townsend – Quality professionals should not be specialists. Who could we afford to exclude from this initiative? And what are those next challenges? For one thing we develop their current civilization at a tremendous cost of resources and unsustainable practices. As we develop the world to reduce human inequities and environmental insult, we cannot repeat the mistakes that led to our current state of development. Furthermore, we simply do not have the natural resources to build copies of our high consumption economies around the globe. Instead, it is now good business in ways that we'll discuss in a few minutes together, to reach out to the global village, listen to the voice of a diversity of customers we've never had before, and devise innovative solutions. Our challenge is quality professionals is to bring it home. How can we use our skills as quality professionals? So first, lets discuss a little bit more what we mean about sustainability. Would anybody like to state likely mean by term sustainability?
