Flu Vaccine Alert in Bangalore Karnatakaaddon Scans
As flu season approaches, health officials in Bangalore, Karnataka, are urging residents to get their flu vaccinations. The seasonal flu, while common, can lead to severe health complications, particularly for vulnerable populations such as young children, the elderly, and those with underlying health conditions.
Dr. Vidisha Kumari, a leading epidemiologist in Bangalore, emphasizes the importance of getting vaccinated. "The flu vaccine is our best defense against the influenza virus. It not only protects individuals but also helps prevent the spread of the virus in our communities," he says.
This year, the flu season is expected to coincide with a potential increase in other respiratory illnesses. The Karnataka Health Department has launched an awareness campaign highlighting the significance of flu vaccinations. They have set up multiple vaccination centers across Bangalore, making it convenient for residents to receive their shots.
To encourage widespread vaccination, the government is also collaborating with local schools, workplaces, and community centers to facilitate vaccination drives. Special attention is being given to ensuring that the vaccine is accessible to all, including marginalized communities who may have limited access to healthcare.
Residents are reminded that the flu vaccine is safe and effective. Common side effects are mild and may include soreness at the injection site, mild fever, or muscle aches. These side effects are generally short-lived and far less severe than the flu itself.
Healthcare providers are also stressing the importance of continuing COVID-19 precautions. Wearing masks, practicing good hand hygiene, and maintaining social distancing are still crucial, especially in crowded places.
Protect yourself and your loved ones by getting vaccinated. Together, we can help keep Bangalore healthy and safe this flu season. For more information on vaccination centers and schedules, residents can visit the Karnataka Health Department’s official website or follow their social media pages.

Aromic handwash case study
1. Aromic Hand wash --- Case Study
Germs Everywhere
Do you know there are 400 times more germs on our hands than a toilet seat? Yes it is right. You
might be shocked to know that, but it is a bitter reality. This means that a person working in the
office is at more risk of becoming sick than the person doing some other work. According to the
study of University of Arizona humans is the most common source of spreading bacteria. It has also
been found that as compared with women, men have in them three to four times of bacteria in
them. Most of the bacteria are found on the desk, phones, keyboards and so on.
Now the world is going digital more and more. Though it has increased the number of bacteria on
the desk, yet we come in contact with paper every day. Books in the library are the most common
source of it. Similarly coffee mugs in the office kitchens are coated with lots of bacteria. Even the
pens are coated with bacteria. These bacteria reach our stomach with our hands. Particularly some
are in the habit of chewing the ends of the pens. It is the main cause of many diseases; rather we
mussay deadly diseases.
It must be kept in mind that many people die due to the dirty hands. There are thousands of people
around the world who are infected due to the diseases caused by dirty hands. Therefore, hand
hygiene is very important to prevent ourselves from various deadly diseases. In fact it won’t be
wrong to say that harmful germs are found everywhere in the environment.
2. Harmful Chemicals in Hand Wash
We are using soap and water for washing our hands. The hygiene benefits of this are quite well-
known to all. During this Covid era the liquid hand wash by different companies are becoming quite
popular. Soaps or hand washes clean our hands by lifting up dirt on the hands while water and
friction lifts up the dirt from the hands.
However, there are many harmful chemicals present in hand-wash liquids. Some of these are
triclosan, sodium lauryl sulphate and parabens. Though many of the harmful chemicals have been
banned by the FDA, yet the other chemicals also cause harm to the hands. Now in this Covid era it
has been suggested to wash the hands, every half an hour. Due to the presence of these chemicals
our hands become rough and dry and we have to face many problems of the skin also.
Need of the Hand Wash with Herbal Ingredients
However, hand wash with herbal ingredients is better than hand wash fluids based on chemicals.
They are more effective than the chemical-based hand wash. The bonus is that they do not cause
any harm to the hands. Rather they are beneficial for the skin of hands. Besides killing germs these
kind of hand wash fluids prove quite beneficial for the hands. The popularity of Ayurveda is
growing more and more. Now more and more people are inclined towards the ages-old system of
medicine, that is very much Indian and very much holistic and also sans any side effects.
