• Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a contagious disease by severe acute
respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).
• The first case was identified inWuhan, China in December 2019 and spread
worldwide, leading to an ongoing pandemic.
• Symptoms: Fever, cough, fatigue, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell
and sometimes, no symptoms at all.
• The symptoms begin one to fourteen days after the exposure to the virus.
• Virus that causes COVID-19 spreads mainly when an infected person is in
closed contact with another person.
• Small droplets and aerosols containing virus can spread from an infected
person’s nose and mouth as they breathe, cough, sneeze, sing or speak. It also
spreads via contaminated surfaces.
• CoronaVirus is the ongoing pandemic worldwide that kills lots of life around
the world and still killing millions of infected patients.
3. How can we prevent ourselves being
infected by Corona Virus?
There are lots of ways on how to prevent ourselves
getting sick, specially in this kind of situation. Most of these
ways are already part of our daily hygiene and daily habit.
Sanitizing, washing our hands before and after eating,
eating vegetable and fruits, wearing mask if we are sick, and
more.
Here are some of the most needed way on how to
prevent ourselves from this virus and to keep us safe and
healthy.
4. Always Wear Your Face Mask and
Face Shield! Wearing face mask and face
shield protects you from inhaling
air-carrying virus.
It also help you not to touch
your face because your hands
might have germs and that
germs can transfer to your face
by touching it.
Some germs can cause infection
that leads to illness and if you
are sick, you are more
susceptible to viruses and that
includes the Corona Virus.
Also, wear your face mask and
face shield properly so that you

7. Healthy Family is a Happy Family:
Stay at Home!
Staying at home gives you a lot of space from the virus. If you will stay at home with
your family, you and your family is in distant with the virus. You have the less chance on
being infected by that disease.
Staying at home maybe boring because you cannot roam around with your friends, go
some shopping with your mother, go on a vacation with your family but you can have
fun at home and try other things.
Do some home activities that the whole family members will join, have some movie
marathon, exercise together and be more in touch with other members.
8. Clean Hand, Clean Mind: Wash Your
Hands Regularly!
Washing hands before and after eating
protects you from the germs that cling to
you. Cleaning your hands also cleans your
mind because you don’t have to worry if you
just ate something dirty because the foods
are clean and also your hands.
Always wash your hands to prevent having
dirty hands that’s touching your face or
foods that you’ll eat. That also will keep you
healthy and hygienic. Always wash your

maintenance of our body.

new normal. New normal is a state to which an
economy, society, etc. settles following a crisis,
when this differs from the situation that prevailed
prior to the start of the crisis.
