• Also performed the night audit ( checking all the bills of different department, tallying them and
posting them accordingly)

Projects and Trainings:
1. Worked on the project ‘Library Management System’ in summer internship at RDCIS
Steel Authority India Limited, Ranchi:
The project comprised of a study of the existing library at RDCIS SAIL, which basically being
a research and development company, had a huge library with innumerable books. It also
included the development of a library management software as per the requirements of the
organization with all the different tables of members, books issued, book details using VB.net
as the frontend and oracle 9i as the backend.
Roles and Responsibilities:
a) Interacting with employees of the organization and other officials at the library for
requirement gathering, system study and analysis.
b) Analyzing the data hence collected using PESTLE analysis, SWOT analysis and various
tools of MS EXCEL, esp. Pivot tables.
c) Understanding the technical and functional specifications of the system to be developed.
d) Working in a team guided by a mentor to develop such a system.
e) Did most part of the coding in oracle 9i and designed various forms in vb.net.
f) Involved in post implementation, maintenance and enhancement of the project.
g) Participating dynamically in all the phases of system development life cycle (SDLC).

3. 2. Worked in the different departments of Centaur Hotel, New Delhi during the Industrial
Training for six months.
This training comprised of working in various departments of the Hotel like the Front Office,
Food and Beverage, HR and payroll; and had the prime focus on interacting with various
guests, doing suitable reservation for them and addressing their queries. It also involved
working with the IDS Software and performing multiple functions on it, which held the big data
of the Centaur Hotel.
