Andrew has over 17 years in construction management, with an impressive
track record in key roles on complex multi-disciplinary engineering projects.
His experience on high-profile projects across the globe has seen him rise
to the top of his field, honing a range of skills which have proven invaluable
in successful project delivery.
With a natural flair for planning and scheduling, and the ability to manage
multiple, often conflicting priorities, it is not surprising that Andrew has been
allocated the role of Logistics Manager on a range of high-value complex
projects.
An undeniable ability for innovative thinking combined with exceptional
logistical skills has enabled him to facilitate ‘lean’ programs which deliver
optimal time and cost objectives. At the same time, his programs are
founded on proven staging and construction methodology with safety of
personnel and workplace underpinning all activities.
Building on previous successes, Andrew is currently managing all Logistics
packages on the Ichthys LNG Onshore Project, Cryogenic Tanks Package,
Darwin NT. His innate ability to identify and mitigate constraints has proven
to be a major benefit for the project’s tight schedule.
Andrew’s skills were previously demonstrated on the Heathrow Terminal 5
development, where his collaborative approach was central to continual
product and supply chain development. His innovative approach and
knowledge of appropriate construction methodologies, facilitated ‘Just In
Time’ delivery processes to be successfully implemented, enabling works to
consistently continue ahead of schedule.

ICHTHYS LNG ONSHORE PROJECT CRYOGENIC TANKS PACKAGE, DARWIN NT

The Tanks Package consists of a network of four cryogenic tanks for the $34bn Ichthys LNG project at
Blaydin Point. The equipment includes two full containment LNG tanks with 9% nickel steel inner tanks and

pre-stressed concrete outer tanks, each with a capacity of 165,000m³. In addition, we are delivering a
85,000m³ full containment propane tank and a 60,000m³ full containment butane tank.
The project is also one of the most highly valued natural resource development projects in Australia in
relation to promoting exports.

personnel during the construction period. The village was designed to contain 3500 accommodation units.

The scope of works included construction, operation and maintenance of centrally required welfare
facilities, with a main project office, logistics office, clinic, induction facility, administration office and training
facility. It comprises nine precincts with a total area of 5,729,973m2, site length 10.48km with one entire
side of site waterfront with a width of 786m.
Andrew led a team of Logistics Managers and Commercial Managers as part of a Central Logistics Team.
His team was both proactive and flexible, successfully implementing creative solutions for efficient running /
management of overall facilities and services. Their solutions enabled all construction works to proceed
smoothly and safely with minimum impact on the surrounding areas at Al Raha Beach.

the most advanced integrated passenger terminals in the world, capable of handling up to 30 million
passengers a year. The project involved main line rail connections, underground lines, a network of new
roads, retail and airport facilities.
