2. Career History
May 15 – Current Civil Area Manager - Nammuldi BWTP
Kerman Contracting
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing the project delivery of the NPI portion of the NWTP for Rio Tinto
Works included three separable portions.
o SP1 -Heavy vehicle workshop, wash down Bay, lube facility, WWTP,
water processing facility and office facilities.
o SP2 –Fixed plant workshop, office facilities and emergency service
facilities.
o SP3 – Ammonium Nitrate storage facility, emulsion storage facility.
Managing and monitoring planning and scheduling of contractor works to
ensure achievement of critical milestones.
Oversee contractor workforces of 190+
Providing and coordinating technical solutions to ensure that the work
continues with minimum impact on costs and time.
Budget management, cost control, and project forecasting.

Plants, Car dumper and module installations along with associated conveyor
systems, transfer stations and reclaimer and office facilities.
Driving the BHP cultures for Safety and environmental performance and
ensuring that KPIs were achieved with zero recordable injuries during my
time on the project.
Develop EPCM Construction Risk Awareness Workshops, Construction
Implementation and Method Plans and Site Management plans.
Implement BHP and FAST policies and procedures.

Recruited by FASTJV specifically to manage NPI and Civil Projects, located at Port Hedland for
BHP’s Port Hedland Inner Harbour Project. After a few months I was seconded to BHP’s Quantum
100 Project, as Project Area Manager which required the setting up of a new green field’s project
at Boodarie. This project was for the establishment of Car Dumpers, Stock Yards, and conveyors
at this location. In August 2012 the Boodarie Project was put on hold and I was moved back onto
the PHIHP Project to oversee NPI and Civil projects as superintendent.
3. Aug 09 – Aug 11 Site Manager - BHP Yandi Site
Ausco Modular
Key Responsibilities:
Site management of 120+ work force for the construction of Spinifex Village at the BHP Yandi Site.
Selected achievements:
Front line Project Manager for the supply and installation of the 1,200 man
Construction Accommodation Camp and all of it’s associated infrastructure.
Working with EPCM (FAST) site representatives to overcome design and
logistic constraints.
Coordination of supervisors and safety advisors to ensure that the project
program was maintained and the works were executed in a safe manner.
All critical milestones were achieved on time and within budget and the
project was completed by the Contract Practical Completion date.
Compiling of project management close out reports and project MDR &
deliverables.
Tender clarification and inspection criteria.
Day-to-day management of a large Site Team.
Feb 06 – Aug 09 Site Manager

Key Responsibilities:
Managed large scale concrete and civil mining construction projects throughout Western Australia
with works crews of up to 60 personnel.

work look-aheads to maintain site progress.
