The Camerawork within this teaser trailer is very smooth and
professional. The main reason, I think for this, is that it is
generally a slow-paced and suspense building trailer and does
not need many fast-paced shots. The general theme that is
cast with the camera is that it is calm and controlled, this may
be metaphorical for the attitude of the main character. There
are a wide variety of shots that are all used to make sure that
the main character is the centre of attention.

3. Mise en Scene
The general whole theme that is given off by the props and
costumes, is that this is, once again a very shady and
secretive movie. It implies this more strongly than it’s
predecessors. This gives a very intimidating aura to the whole
thing and subsequently the characters that are presented
within it.

4. Lighting
The low key lighting makes the whole trailer very dark and
gloomy, this may represent the feelings of the main character
as he reflects on the events of the previous films. This can also
represent themes from the coming film and the events that
take place, telling us that it’s probably not going to be very
happy and cheerful; rather it’s going to be very dark and gritty.
This is then contrasted by the funeral scene, in which the
lighting is very bright and high-key, which seems very out of
place.

The dialogue used within the trailer is not very extensive,
rather it is small snippets made to sound like one-liners. This is
mainly used on the supposed villain, and makes him sound
very ominous and scary. This adds the already very
intimidating look of the character. The music used within the
trailer is very slow and dramatic; it is useful for building
suspense to the somewhat climactic ending of the trailer.

6. Editing
The editing within the trailer is not very diversified and
repeatedly uses either cuts or fades to black. The only other
key editing points is that dialogue from the characters within
the film is used as narration and as exposition.

in control. This is different from the usual situation that this
