Analysis of front cover
- 1. Analysis of front cover For my magazine front cover, I made a questionnaire to ask people in my class what they thought of my magazine and if there was anything they would change or add. I asked 10 people to do my questionnaire and everyone who answered said that they like the name of the magazine. 3 people said that the writing wasn’t clear enough so I would like to change the writing. Everyone said that they wouldn’t change anything about the layout and they liked the story lines. One person said that my magazine didn’t fit my target audience since only one person said this I wouldn’t change anything and no one said that they would change the font. My finished product is a bit different to my design because I changed some of the story lines and I played around with the layout of the front cover to get it to look its best. A digital camera has helped turn my design into a real product because I could take my own photos and a printer has helped because I could print off the pages for the magazine and the front cover. I do feel that my front cover suits my target audience because it has nothing rude in it so none younger wouldn’t be able to read it and the story lines would appeal to the age group I have targeted. Also I have overcome some challenges; one of the challenges I faced was getting the writing to stand out so you could read it and make it clear enough. I have now learnt how to edit a picture on Photoshop and also I have gained how to put a magazine together and how to make it real.
