Why this is not right for Lusk • Commercial development in RU Zone • Too close to too many people • Offensive Odours • 7x24 Plant noise and emissions • High risk of pollution (Watercourses) • Waste produced by others “Protect & promote in a balanced way the development of agriculture and rural- related enterprise, biodiversity, the rural landscape and the build and cultural heritage” The “Brown Bin” waste to be processed here will be generated by almost 400,000 people. The population of Lusk is just over 7,000.
