An area of great archaeological importance, part of the vineyard covers the east side of the Roman fort of Pentreheyling, whilst another section formed the edge of two Roman marching camps. The site is also home to the remains of Bronze Age funerary monuments, a druid road, a medieval settlement, and Offa’s Dyke is just a field away!

June 2010 – Our new babies emerge!
During February and March the vines need pruning ready for summer growth. Between March and April weeding and general maintenance work is undertaken around the vineyard and from June onwards we need help thinning and tucking in the vines. The grape harvest usually starts in late September and can continue through until November. Harvesting involves picking and packing the grapes ready for the wine making process.
