My name is Amy Mehr. I have been in radio marketing, sales, promotions, management,
media buying and so much more. I am an energetic, positive person with a love for people
and figuring out how to make something work. I have managed budgets of up to $500,000. I
have planned, executed and provided revenue for such events as The X 96 Big Ass Show, Vans
Warped Tour, Tuesday Tunes at Trolley, Radio From Hell morning show promotions, Disney
Days at The Gallivan Center, Seven Peaks Summer events, numerous car giveaways etc.
Along with the above I have learned that I am a dynamic person with bright ideas and a real
gift of speaking to people and creating amazing business connections as well as friendships.
WORK EXPERIENCE
November 2013-July 2014
I have been working at Dillards at South Towne Mall as a Sales Associate in Mens
Furnishings. I loved my job, my co-workers and most of all the clients. I had no problems
making my sales go and I was up for a 15% raise. I was very happy and excited about this. I
have actual customers who come back looking for me. Sadly, we found out the store is
closing in September so I decided that I would look elsewhere during these summer
months. But my duties included but not limited to: providing an excellent customer
service experience, merchandising, opening credit accounts, creating relationships with
customers that would become long term customers. If you take a moment to review my
resume you will see that I have an extensive history with leadership, sales, customer
service and retail.
Fex Office – Consultant
June 2012 – June 2013
To deliver a positive customer experience to all customers, utilizing consultative skills to
anticipate customer needs, suggest alternatives and provide solutions. Knowledgeable in all
areas of the Center’s business, including print, signs & graphics, and shipping. I am responsible
for taking orders, coordinating activities in the Center, providing pricing and product
information, and recommending appropriate FedEx Office products and services. I operate and
maintain a wide variety of equipment, move boxes and equipment, stock materials, manage
the production queue and output, manage complex projects, manage retail supply, and
complete assigned tasks based on priority.
(This was a part time job I had while being at home with my children).
Radio Disney AM 910 – Promotions Manager / Account Manager
December 2007 – August 2011
Sold, planned and executed station and client promotions. I worked with the different markets
for multi market buys and promotions. Manage a monthly budget of 30,000. Including
operating & staffing expenses. This is where I was introduced to the word “Tweens” and now I
have a “Tween” of my own. So I get the product and demographic. I was in charge of
scheduling, executing and producing the weekly Public Affairs Show “Kids Concerns”. I
managed a staff of 17-20 young adults in scheduling and performing at station events, practices
and team building exercises. Developed a high revenue summer event “Disney Days at The
Gallivan Center” to which we were able to make a significant amount of revenue selling in to it
with sponsorships, booths, vendors etc. Manage an account list, work in Counterpoint in
formulating advertising schedules and station buys. Create and present advertising proposals.
I manage the following areas of the station: Client list, buys and promotions, FCC
requirements (Chief Operator), Station Staff, promotional budget, station vehicle, turn-key
promotional events etc.
LHM Advertising – Assistant Media Buyer
March 2007 – December 2007
Assist in Media buying for all Larry H Miller companies, and other selected companies. In charge
of, placing buys and trafficking out all radio and TV commercials to media (30-35 buys per
month). I Worked in conjunction with TV and Radio account executives in making sure that
placed buys are ran correctly, and maintained. Manage media buys for Pocatello / Idaho
Market. I worked with account executives in buying for six different dealerships according to a
monthly media plan & budget. I worked with agency creative department with voice over work
and TV production. I was a liaison between Senior Media Buyers, Account Executives, and
production department. I created and provided monthly reports to show managers an outlined
summary of all media expenditures. I ran posts reports on ALL buys to ensure that all placed
media ran in the correct day-parts for the correct amount of money paid out.

I collaborated with the sales department and programming department on station promotions
and contests for the station. Coordinated with sales and programming for client promotions and
buys. Made sure giveaways were on air during scheduled times and liners ran according to buy.
Also planned and executed client promotions. Managed On-Site Event Coordinators, schedule
remotes, planned events such as The X96 Big Ass Show, Tuesday Tunes at Trolley, community
events, concerts, car giveaways, cash giveaways and on air giveaways and promotions.
Managed a station budget of over 500,000 a year and provided station with promotional items
on a quarterly basis.
I managed a complete street team including; Vehicles, employees, promotional items, station
equipment & presence of the station.
Developed revenue, executed and provided promotional support for the following events: Vans
Warped Tour, Locomotion Film Festival, MS 150, Strut Your Mutt, Utah Arts Festival, Come
Alive Concert Series, X96 Big Ass Show, Tuesday Tunes at Trolley and more.
Simmons Media - Sales Assistant / Office Manager
July 2002 – January 2005
Collaborate with the sales department in formulating sales packages, help with marketing
aspects for sales and clients I.E. Gift certificates, enter to win boxes, posters etc. Assist sales
managers whenever needed. In charge of hiring of receptionists, switchboard, prize check in
and organizing, ordering office supplies, business cards, and service repairs for copier and
computers, party planning, keeping company supplied with necessary needs. Provide help in
different departments wherever needed, areas include: Traffic Continuity, Reception,
Promotions, and Sales.

I worked for over 10 radio stations, under 8 different sales managers, in helping with sales
