2.  Bhilwara Milk Union was established in August,
1972 that registered under rajasthan co-operative
act 1965 with the motto to pay remunerative price
to its milk producers.
 It has a Dairy plant handling capacity 2.5 lakh ltrs.
per day with the facilities to pack milk, ghee etc.

3.  To Improve the Social & Financial Status of Milk Producers.
 To organizing dairy co-operative societies & Producers
Marketable surplus milk.
 To undertake – milk production enhancement activities by
promoting breeding / feeding and hygienic milk production
practices.
 To undertake training and awareness programmed against milk
producers.
 Market quality processed milk and milk products to the
consumers.
 Development of Co-operative milk procurement system in the
rural areas.

4.  Its basic objective is to preserve the quality of
milk poured in,by cooling down the temperature
of milk to 4'C. There by checking the growth of
bacteria responsible for deterioration of quality
of milk.
o Some Basic Features of BMC Meja are –
 Daily milk collection is about 400 – 500 L/day.
 Capacity of bulk milk cooler is about - 1040 L
 Monthly collection of milk 2500 – 3000 L/month
 Milking cooling at below the 4°c for safe storage.
