The Software Development Life Cycle
The Software Development Life Cycle is a model, which consists of multiple steps or phases. This
model is used for the development of software or application. The purpose of SDLC is to make
software more efficient and effective. The life cycle typically has six phases. It starts with analysis and
design phase, then the implementation/ construction phase, testing phase, release or deployment phase
and ends with maintenance phase. The analysis phase determines why the need for the software arose,
the deliverables or outcome expected from the software or system and also identifies the various
requirements for the development. It is very important to involve users, stakeholders and working
engineers in this phase, to ensure that the Why criteria is thoroughly fleshed out. A well worked out
analysis phase will help developers and architects to successfully work on the given requirements in
the design phase. The design phase might also involve building several use cases and building
prototypes for users. Design can be logical design, physical design or architectural design. In the
construction phase, physical construction is done to complete the software (i.e. programming,
hardware, software and so on). The implementation phase turns the design into an actual product. The
next phase tests the software for possible vulnerabilities and bugs. This is to ensure that the product is
safe from possible security breach. The product is tested in the real world to see if it functions as

DNA In Crime Scene Investigation
Nowadays, DNA is a crucial component of a crime scene investigation, used to both to identify
perpetrators from crime scenes and to determine a suspect s guilt or innocence (Butler, 2005). The
method of constructing a distinctive fingerprint from an individual s DNA was first described by Alec
Jeffreys in 1985. He discovered regions of repetitions of nucleotides inherent in DNA strands that
differed from person to person (now known as variable number of tandem repeats, or VNTRs), and
developed a technique to adjust the length variation into a definitive identity marker (Butler, 2005).
Since then, DNA fingerprinting has been refined to be an indispensible source of evidence, expanded
into multiple methods befitting different types of DNA ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Each person inherits two copies of these markers from his or her mother and father, so a higher
similarity denotes a closer biological relationship. The probability of two samples matching is around
one in a billion (dna.gov). DNA profiles are compiled by using gel or capillary electrophoresis to
separate samples into a pattern distinctive of the subject s DNA based on ionic charge, size, or
mobility. Usually, samples in the database are searched at moderate stringency, which requires that all
alleles between the two samples match, but the number of alleles can vary, accounting for DNA
contamination or degradation. Partial, or candidate, matches are samples that have a similar number of
alleles in the forensic profile but are not exact, and are used in familial DNA searching to find close
biological relatives of the original forensic profile. Other evidence is used to determine relatives,
including Y chromosome analysis, which traces family relationships based on the fact that the Y
chromosome is transmitted directly between a father and his sons; age; and geographic location. The
process is based on the principle that first order relatives have closer DNA profiles than unrelated
individuals, and also on the sociological assumption that criminal tendencies appear in families;
according to the Bureau of Justice Statistics Correctional Populations

Castesism In My Teacher
During my teaching days, I was quite fond of visiting the community my students belonged to. One
home visit that I distinctly remember was at a student s house, who was sharp in Math and kind of my
favorite in Math class, knowing that favoritism should not happen with teachers! Since I went there
after a long tiring teaching day, I asked for some food. The family members started giving each other a
look. After asking them the reason, one of the sisters told me how can you eat here, we are Walmikis .
My first encounter with castesism that left me silent for a moment..
Castesism (a word that I will be using frequently in my writing) is not new to any of us. Since

When Valmiki ji graduated from the high school with first class division, the entire Dalit community
celebrated it as a festival. They also started sending their children to him to study... The basti children
began to show more interest in studying after I passed high school. The basti began to appreciate the
importance of schooling a bit more, despite its economic vulnerability. I started an evening school on
our porch. Every evening I would get fifteen or twenty children to sit in a circle for a regular class of
one to one and a half hours daily. Some older people also started to come. (Pg 69) In fact, even the
high class Tyagis mindset changed because of a Dalit got educated.. Something else very special
happened that day. Chamanlal Tyagi visited our home to congratulate me on my success. It was the
first time a Tyagi had come to a Chuhra home to offer congratulations. Even more momentously,
Chamanlal Tyagi took me to his home. Sitting close to me, he fed me lunch from their own dishes. In
the all pervasive atmosphere of untouchability, this was indeed a special gesture. This indeed firmed
his and his family belief about education being the only tool to improve their caste , as his father kept

A basic characteristic of their bilateral relations was the acceptance of the principle of non interference
in China s internal affairs, particularly with respect to human rights, democratisation, Taiwan, Tibet
and China s social system . However, the events at the Tiananmen Square and its surroundings
changed Australia s attitude towards China and human rights became a topic that could not be
avoided. Australia condemned the use of force, cancelled some visits to and from China and on 13
July imposed some sanctions: ministerial visits were suspended both ways as well as official contacts
at senior levels, important political visits, high level defence visits and visits by public security and
police officials . Furthermore, promptly and emotionally, [PM Hawke] extended the visa for the
Chinese students in Australia so that they could stay longer and apply for permanent residence in later
years . However, the Australian government decided not to cut the aid programme or put limits on
cultural, economic and student exchanges . There was a need to punish the regime , but Australia

The Case Of The Attorney General
The Attorney General is part of the executive branch. They are also in charge of the Department of
Justice or the DOJ and chief law enforcement officer of the federal part of the government. The
Attorney General represents the US in legal matters and appears before the Supreme Court mostly.
The Attorney General s purpose is to enforce federal criminal law in the United States. The Ohio
Attorney General is currently Mike DeWine.
Before we start diving into the details of the Attorney General we have to get into the history. The
history of attorney general in the United States dates back to the American Revolution and the

Most attorney generals are elected, while some are appointed by the governor, legislature or supreme
court of the state. For example, John Kasich would sometimes appoint our attorney general.
As the chief legal officer of the states, commonwealths and territories of the United States, the
attorneys general serve as counselors to their legislatures and state agencies and also as the People s
Lawyer for all citizens. Originating in the mid 13th century in the office of England s King s Attorney,
the office had become, by the American Revolution, one of advisor to the Crown and to government
agencies. While varying from one jurisdiction to the next due to statutory and constitutional mandates,
typical powers of the attorneys general include the authority to issue formal opinions to state agencies;
act as public advocates in areas such as child enforcement, consumer protections, antitrust and utility
regulation; propose legislation; enforce federal and state environmental laws; represent the state and
state agencies before the state and federal courts; handle criminal appeals and serious statewide
criminal prosecutions; institute civil suits on behalf of the state; represent the public s interests in
charitable trust and solicitations; and operate victim compensation programs.

The Influence and Use of Technology in Nursing
Modern technology and informatics rapidly expended into practically all aspects of our everyday life
and have become virtually the second skin or the second nature for the present generations.
Contemporary nursing practice must employ technological advances into everyday client oriented
nursing process with the ultimate goal of improving the quality and safety of holistic and humanistic
client care. In this paper I will explore the role of nurses in the process of implementation of
technology into the client centered care, an influence the present day technology exerts on the nursing
process by the example of a role it plays in medication administration, benefits and possible
drawbacks the modern technology brings into the professional nursing, discuss decisive steps the
practical nursing has to take to keep pace with modern dynamics of the new technological era. The
introduction of computer technologies not only dramatically changed the everyday life of humanity,
but it has been constantly shaping our present since the invention of the first computing machine and
the development of the first informatics technologies. I also believe that the modern technology has
revolutionized the way of how the nursing care is delivered today to the clients and continue to shape
the nursing process with steady and constant substantial infusions of new materials, techniques and
approaches to the everyday nursing practice. For the modern practicing nurse such technologic
solutions as

The Pros And Cons Of Incarceration
Imposing the deprivation of personal liberty legally is referred to as incarceration (National Research
Council, 2014). In doing so, a person is typically secured in a facility that is specially designed for that
purpose. Moreover, incarceration remains one of the most severe forms of punishment that our society
can impose (National Research Council, 2014). Usually, prison terms are reserved for those found
guilty of committing more serious crimes such as violent felonies.
Incarceration may be deemed justified as a means of preventing future crimes by incapacitating those
who would otherwise be committing crimes within a free society (National Research Council, 2014).
Moreover, incarceration can be used to otherwise deter or rehabilitate offenders who are punished
from committing future crimes (National Research Council, 2014). While incarcerated, prisons can
support an offender s need to rehabilitation so that following the offender s release, he/she is more
likely to live in a law abiding way and reintegrate successfully (National Research Council, 2014).
Overall, prisons effectiveness can be measured by an outcome that includes lower rates of recidivism
and higher rates an offender s positive standing within the community and his/her overall health and
well being (National Research Council, 2014).
Reentry initiatives resulted in the creation of teams that are structured to assist in managing the
process of transition from prisons and community reintegration,

Philanthropic Acts a Compromise for Rights
In an era consisting of big industrialist, such as Andrew Carnegie, there were many differences of
opinions on the execution of capitalism between these industrialists and their workers. Andrew
Carnegie expressed his ideas and views in article, The Gospel of Wealth, in which he outlines the

Andrew believed that the upper class should not show extravagant displays of their wealth simply
because they can. He believed that the first thing a wealthy man must do is to meet the moderate

should be used for public works to better the community by that person s own judgment. Andrew
states that the poor need to be guided by the rich because without that guidance the people will live the

Effects Of Pivotal Response Treatment On Language Expansion
Effects of pivotal response treatment on language expansion in children with autism Stock, Mirenda,
and Smith (2013) compared the effectiveness of private group applied behavior analysis (GABA) and
pivotal response treatment (PRT) on several domains of development in children with autism spectrum
disorder. Progress and effectiveness of treatment was assessed through several measures, such as the
Preschool Language Scale, the Merill Palmer Revised Scales, the Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales,
the Child Behavior Checklist, and the Parenting Stress Index Short Form. In the GABA group,
intervention was individualized based on strengths and weaknesses of each child, and structured 1:1
discrete trial training as well as generalized 1:2 teaching was implemented. Target programs included
imitation, manding, receptive language, object matching, adaptive skills, and social skills training.
Intervention took place both in intensive teaching and natural teaching environments in a preschool
like setting. Generalized ABA teaching included two children to one therapist, and the children
worked on social skills. In the PRT group, individualized intervention goals focused on functional
communication skills, developmentally appropriate social and play skills, as well as adaptive skills. A
major difference between the two groups was that parents were included in an active therapist role
throughout intervention, and therapeutic sessions were conducted in the home and community.

Argumentative Essay On Organ Donation
The medical industry had been achieving more in the stage of medical advancements, though they are
still in the early phase. Artificial organs have been one of those achievements. Although they have
achieved such, artificial organs are not perfect. Most doctors as well as patients would prefer to
replace a dying organ with a compatible human organ, rather than with an artificial or animal organ.
Yet due to a there being less organs donated than recipients, artificial and animal organs are becoming
more common in transplants. Most of this issue is because people are unaware of how organ donation
works, the organs that can be donated, how many people are in need, and the advancements that have
happened in the field. Organ donation saves hundreds of lives every year, but many lives are
recklessly lost due to a shortage of organ donors.
Organ donation is the medical process of voluntarily giving one or more of your organs to someone in
need, whether it be someone you know or a stranger. It is strictly voluntary, no payment for the
organ/s will be given from the hospital, the recipient or the recipients family. In organ donation, there
are two types of donations, living organ donation and deceased organ donation. Living organ donation
is when the donor is still alive and voluntarily chooses to donate one or more of their organs to a
recipient(s) in need. Whereas, deceased organ donation happens after the donor has passed away, and
consent was given to be able to donate their organs.
In living organ donation, before a donor can donate there are tests administrated to see if the donor is
suitable to donate. There is an evaluation of the donor done to make sure that no physical,
psychological, or emotional harm will happen to them before, during, or after donating
(Organdonor.gov U.S. Government Information on Organ Donation and Transplantation). In living
organ donation, most donations happen within family members, or between close friends, although
there are stranger donations that happen. Living organ donors should generally be physically fit, in
good health, and between the ages of 18 to 60. They should not have a history or have diabetes,
cancer, high blood pressure, kidney disease, or heart disease

Personal Strengths And Personal Types
You have people all around the world and none of them are the same. You have people with high
tempers, you got the lazy people that don t ever do anything, and the over achievers and everyone is
about in the middle of those three. I have taken a personality test and learned that I have an Executive
personality type, if you do not know what that means I am like the boss in a business. This trait is held
by less than 11% of the population. I am stubborn, organized, and judgmental.
My personality showed that one of my weaknesses is stubbornness, for example they are reluctant to
trust other opinions . Sometimes being stubborn can be helpful and other times it can be hurtful, for
example if you want to go over to your friends house but your mom says no sometimes if you keep
trying she might say yes. Or like the other times she gets annoyed and tells you to go away. There are
three things that being stubborn makes harder for me: trying to be flexible, getting along with my
parents, and shopping. Trying to be flexible is hard because if my mom makes something for dinner
that I don t really like or that I just am not feeling, I will eat cereal or somethings else. Another reason
is trying to get along with my parents, because I always think that I am right and they are wrong. For
example if I want to go over to a friends house and they say no I give them reasons why I should go.
Then last shopping is especially hard because one I am stubborn so I don t settle. Being stubborn

Information Technology is the study or use of systems (especially computers and telecommunications)
for storing, retrieving, and sending information. The word Information Technology was first coined by
authors Harold J. Leavitt and Thomas L. Whisler in an article for Harvard Business Review in 1958,
quoting The new technology does not yet have a single established name; we shall call it Information
Technology . Their definition consists of three categories techniques for processing, the application of
statistical and mathematical methods for decision making, and the simulation of higher order thinking
through computer programs.
Technological revolutions have triggered strong increases in productivity. Most of us see the computer
as electronic general purpose machine. 70 years from now, John Mauchly and J. Presper Eckert of the

The first person to introduce logical operations was George Boole and he gave the Boolean laws in the
19th century. His was the concept that would later go on to become the origin of the Information

Boole s concept, the values of the variables are the truth values like True/False or Yes/No usually
denoted by 1 or 0. In the year 1913, Sheffer named Boole s method as Boolean algebra. The values of
the variables were numbers, and main operations are multiplication and addition in the basic algebra,
but Boolean algebra s main operations are conjunction AND denoted by ∧, the disjunction OR,
denoted as ∨, and the negation NOT, denoted as ¬. Boolean algebra has then been fundamental in the
development of digital electronics and is provided for in all modern programming languages. It is also

The Importance Of Minority Rights In America
America is the number 1 nation in the world! is a common phrase we hear time and time again.
American citizens, in my opinion, have a distorted view on how awesome our country is. America was
founded on the idea of freedom at least freedom for white men at the time. While we have grown and
made bounds for the rights of minorities like African Americans, Hispanics and women; there is still
room to grow. So many of our citizens feel disenfranchised by our government and that our
implemented democracy doesn t grant them the same rights as others. This is usually a feeling felt by
those in minority groups. Many in the majority don t realize that there are these discrepancies in our
democracy because it s not something that affects them. That is one of the obstacles, many turn a blind
eye to the injustices they see within our democracy because they do not want to get involved or they
want the status quo to stay intact. The majority s desire to stay on top in our country is a huge
influence in how those in the minority then view their abilities. Many minority members feel hopeless
and that despite speaking up a power shift to equality will never be attainable. There is a profound
lack of representation of minority groups in offices of power. As discussed in this class, there have
only even been eight African American US Senators, and only two currently in the Senate now. This
lack of representation harms minority youth because when they have grand dreams of changing the

A Hunting Trip with Friends in Hunters in the Snow by...
Hunters in the Snow by Tobias Wolff is about three friends Tub,Kenny, and Frank who have arranged
to go hunting which is something that they do on a regular basis. Kenny taunts Tub about him being
overweight and Frank about his affair with a 15 year old girl. Throughout the entire day of the hunting
trip, Kenny was taunting the two men. A series of events takes place on the hunting trip which makes
it noticeable that their problems are much deeper than just one day of hunting, Kenny taunts and
bullies the men on a more regular basis than just this one day of hunting which leads up to the men
letting Kenny die in the back of the truck. Kenny showed that he does not care about the men or their
surroundings during the peak of the story when he shoots the dog in the head. When Tub asks him
why he did that he replies He was just barking . (Pg.170) Kenny says that Tub will be next to be shot
as he continues to just shoot anything in sight. Kenny than turns to Tub and says that he hates him
while pointing the gun at him. Tub doesn t want to be shot and killed like the dog so he takes matters
into his own hands and shoots Kenny first. Once Tub shoots Kenny he goes into a moment of regret
thinking what did he just do? Asking Kenny if he is okay, saying that they need to call a ambulance,
saying almost that he will rat himself out in order to make sure that Kenny is okay. Tub does care what
Kenny and Frank think of him which makes him the most sensitive of the three men.

Muslim Discrimination Pros And Cons

terrorist based on their appearance and heritage. Muslims in the U.S are often mistreated, mistaken,
and are threatened by many. Just because they are muslim they are immediately accused of being
terrorist. In extreme cases they are removed from airports because they are simply Muslim. The
discrimination against Muslims is not right because they are judged based on appearance.

I do think that it is human nature for us to be discriminating them the way we do. I feel as humans we
are judgmental. We don t wait until we meet someone to judge them. The first thing we see is
appearance and that it is where our initial judgement is made. Muslims dress much like the people in
terrorist groups, like ISIS, dress. I also feel like ignorance is another contribution to the discrimination
of Muslims. We as Americans are not well educated on the Muslim religion. We hear Muslim and
immediately think of terrorist because of social media and the news. With the lack of intelligence on
Muslim faith and the human nature of judging by appearance, Muslims are very prone to be
discriminated as terrorist. It is the same thing as all black people are athletic. I do not think it is fair to
people of Muslim faith to be discriminated as terrorist. They are just as nice and hard working as any
other U.S citizens. White Americans go and kill a group of people for no reason but we don t
discriminate all white Americans for murderers. We should be enlightened on Muslim faith so we

Stockholm Syndrome Typology
Stockholm Syndrome typically happens under a situation in which a victim is put under extreme
duress; situations such as kidnapping and hostage taking, among other situations. When put under
such duress, a victim will [typically] adjust themselves into survival mode ; in other words, they
change their behavior to help them survive.
One of these adjustments may end up to what they call Stockholm Syndrome. Stockholm Syndrome is
when the victim acclimates to the situation and develops a positive relationship with their captor.
Temporarily, in a hostage situation, this is great because a positive relationship between the two (or
more) can help increase the time of the incident, which mean that the hostage may escaped unscathed.
However, long term effects of Stockholm Syndrome could be detrimental. Long term effects include,

hostage takers that are dominant throughout the typologies. These three typologies would be the
mentally ill hostage takers, criminal hostage takers, and the crusaders (social, political, religious, and
ethnic).
Firstly, there are the mentally ill hostage takers. Out of all of the three hostage takers, the mentally ill
ones are the most common of the three. However, they happen to be the most irrational and
unpredictable of the three; most commonly threatening the death of their hostages and themselves.
These hostage takers often ...seeks recognition from the intense media exposure that follows...
(Poland, 2011, p. 143)
Secondly, there are the criminal hostage takers. Unlike the other two, criminal hostage takers are the
most rational and predictable. In fact, criminals taking hostages are typically unplanned. Their main
goal is to gain something illegally (i.e. robbing a bank); however, not everything goes as planned.
When they are cornered, they take desperate

Observation Of A Piglet
On September 10th 2017 Mr. Striker placed out 10 dead baby piglets in the body farm at Wabash
Heartland Career Center. The piglets all had different factors and the piglets where all still born.
Before the body farm even started we wrote theories on questions that we were given and what we
would think would happen to each piglet in different factors. We started observing these piglets on
September 11th 2017. We observed these piglets for three weeks until mostly all of the piglets where
decomposed all the way to bones. The piglet that was burned (piglet 2) was the one to decompose the
fastest out of the natural state piglet in the grass (piglet 1) and a buried piglet (piglet 10). My initial
thought was correct that piglet 2 would decompose fastest due to less skin for the bugs to get through
the skin and get inside of the piglet. Piglet 2 decomposed on day 9 it was completely bones with no
skin or flesh left on the bones due to maggots and other insects. Piglet 1 still had maggots on its legs
on day 9 and was decomposed on day 11 with only bones left. The piglet 10 still has not been
completely decomposed on day 15. The speed of decomposition is different when the piglet is naked
on the black top (piglet6) or a clothed piglet on black top (piglet 7). My initial thought was that piglet
6 would decompose faster because there would be one less layer to get through than on piglet 7. I was
correct that the piglet 6 did decompose faster than piglet 7. However the clothes

The Concept Of Perpendicularity
Perpendicularity Perpendicularity is a member of the orientation family. It can be used to control the
orientation of surface, axes and center planes. If used on features of size, it is often used as a
refinement of, or to augment a positional control. It is also often used to orient secondary datum
features of size to primary plane datum. Perpendicularity is a characteristics of orientation applied to a
feature or feature of size wherein that considered feature surface, line element, median plane or axis is
being controlled (to within a specified tolerance) 90° to a datum plane or datum axis.
Perpendicularity is a common symbol that requires the referenced surface or line to b perpendicular or

1. INTRODUCTION
MacBook Pro (Early 2011)
The MacBook Pro is a line of Macintosh portable computers launched for the first time in January
2006 by Apple Inc. It swapped the PowerBook G4 and after the iMac it was the second model to be
announced in the Apple Intel transition. Positioned at the high end of the MacBook family, the
MacBook Pro is currently produced in three sizes: the 13, 15, and 17 inch.

After a half circle of product life cycle Apple refreshes its offer with new features and decreases the
price of the previous offer. Thus the market skimming has become the strategy and thus practicing
market leadership in product quality will cover the high cost and R D. Thus the each year apple
enthusiasts are getting the higher value of high quality and advanced features in the closely same price
which actually comprises everyday less price as well.
2.3 Place (Retailing, Online Sales Point, Combination Stores)
Based on my research the core distribution of Apple products (MacBook Pro) are done in two stream:
Retail store and Online Shopping.
Apple retail stores are located in different CBDs of different states in Australia. Using specialty store
concept Apple provides distinctive and brand value for the customers in their specialty stores. (Apple
Store, Sydney, 2011)
There are several value enhancing activities any apple stores provide like workshop, Starter session on
new offers, genius bar, youth programs, etc.
Online shopping also benefits apple customers with low price value contribution 24 hours round the
clock.
Besides resellers like combination stores sells MacBook Pro in their outlets and enhances the value
from their operations.

Classifying Different Types of Shoppers
In today s world things are a lot different than the way they used to be. People are becoming much
more alert and aware of things that are going on around them. Many people do not enjoy doing things
that other people enjoy. It can be a win or lose situation. There are some things in life that people have
to do whether they want to or not. Throughout many different places many people have to go do this
on a daily basis. Lots of men usually do not want to be involved. It is usually left for the women to
take over. There are very many types of shoppers that people deal with on a daily basis, they are
different in many ways such as, children, young adults, and senior citizens.
By all means, shopping can be difficult for children for many reasons. To start, they are very
impatient. They do not want to wait for their parents to get done shopping, whatever they want they
expect to get it now.. When checking out at the register everything is in their reach. They are then
grabbing things and throwing that in the cart as well. Also, it is difficult with children shopping
because sometimes they can be combative. If a child does not get what they want then they will most
of the time throw themselves down and have a tantrum. It makes the parents look so bad, as well as
the child who is acting out. It is not good to be combative because then someone may get hurt. After
all, children shoppers do not care how much anything cost. They will just pick any and everything up

The Deal Made Between The Devil And Dr. Faustus Was Sprouted
The deal made between the devil and Dr. Faustus was sprouted by Faustus inability to believe God
loved him and his rejection of all Christian values. Faustus assumes he can control the devil, but no
one can resist being corrupted by the devil and the powers he has. Although Faustus had numerous
opportunities to turn back and seek redemption, he was dominated by his desire to know and learn
beyond his boundaries. The deal truly isn t beneficial for Faustus after considering the exact nature of
their agreement and he was cautioned against the bargain, showing him the fate that a deal with the
devil will never get you the rewards you re looking for. While Faustus had many important goals he
would achieve with magical powers, his deal with ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
While Faustus demands power, Mephostophilis is miserable in hell and wants Faustus s soul where the
two make an unfair bargain. Before Doctor Faustus writes the contract for the deal, in his own blood,
Mephostophilis gives him his last chance to change his mind, which is when Faustus decides to
continue with the deal. After the contract is written, Faustus asks Mephostophilis to bring him a wife,
wealth and super powers. While Faustus believes that Mephostophilis will be his servant for the next
24 years before selling his soul, it soon becomes known that it is Faustus who is the servant to Lucifer
and his devil friends.
Faustus believes that he will come out on top in the deal even if it means eternal punishment in the
end. He puts his temporary pleasures before his fate which shows how impatient and unhappy he
really is. Even when God reaches out to Faustus through the Good Angel , Faustus puts all his trust
into Lucifer. He says, When Mephostophilis shall stand by me, What God can hurt thee, Faustus?
Thou art safe (Act 1 Scene 5. Lines 24 25). Faustus clearly does not value his own soul and does not
reflect on why the devil would want it. Dr. Faustus is deceived about what making a deal with the
devil will encompass. He tells Mephostophilis, Had I as many souls as there be stars, I d give them all
for Mephostophilis. By him I ll be great emperor of the world (Act 1 Scene 3. Lines 101 103).

Finding Emergency Housing After A Fight Essay
From trying to find a place to get her mother in law s hair permed to having to find emergency
housing after a fight erupted between two seniors (sisters, no less) over dentures to spending
Christmas in the emergency room instead of the living room, Gail s firsthand experience shows how
sticky it can get when you are in charge of your parents.
The book is divided into 60 vignettes followed by questions, including Surviving the Annual Family
Reunion, To Tube or Not to Tube, That Is the Question, and When I Will Means I Won t.
Gail, who also speaks and holds workshops on aging, says the questions get people thinking about
their own situations.
One problem is most people think they are going to just up and die. That s like 10 percent of people
now, she says. This means that most of us will end up needing care provided by others at some point,
like it or not. It s the best of all worlds when you are willing to broach it before the crisis, Gail says.
What it brings up if you wait is more fear. Death is undergirding everything to talk about.
Like Amy, Gail says a meeting is best. The first thing is to bring family together after a letter or a
phone call to tell them it s time to talk about end of life issues. She also suggests using a facilitator,
like a geriatric care manager, nurse or social worker who will cover the basics because, sometimes,
parents will refuse to talk.

On the other hand, addition of probiotic had no significant effect (P 0.05) on shell hardness and shell
thickness and these were expected which have already been reported (Haddadin et al., 1996; Chen and

explanation can be offered for the improvement in albumen quality in the microbial additive groups.
Jensen et al. (1978) found significant improvements in interior egg quality which measured by Hough
Units in hens fed distillers feeds and corn fermentation soluble. Subsequent studies indicated that trace
elements was been involved (Jensen and Maurice, 1978). But Tortuero and Fernandez (1995)

supplementation. Addition of probiotic had significant effect on egg yolk cholesterol (mg /g of yolk).
Haddadin et al. (1996) observed similar results. They reported that inclusion of probiotic lactobacillus
acidophilus in different ages (40, 44 and 48 week) affects egg cholesterol in 40 week of production not
44 and 48. These results have already been confirmed by Marks and Washburn (1991) reports.

The Gold Rush pioneered the way for many people to seek and find their own glory. From around the
time of 1848 to early 1850 s, thousands of people across the world were flooding in to the vast
mountains of the Sierra Nevada in California. Discovered early on in 1848, it took no time for the
eastern side of the United Sates to hear of the strike and wanted a piece of striking it rich. This
magnified history and became one of the most significant events to shape America in the first half of
the 19th century. Many people did fail in their search for glory but those few who succeeded in The

Marshall and Sutter both wanted to keep the news of the discovery a secret; as they wanted it all for
themselves. That turned out to not be the case as word got out and by mid March, at least one

not believe this notion of discovery and thought of it as more of a political stunt. Though in disbelief,
a storekeeper by the name of Sam Brannan set of a frenzy when he displayed through town a vial of
gold attained from Sutter s Creek. This made people believe in the discovery and no later than mid
June, roughly three fourths of the male population of San Francisco had left to the gold mines for their
portion. And by August of 1848, the numbers of miners in the area reached 4,000. As news spread of
the fortunes being made in California, people from all over the world came flooding in. The first came
were from lands that were accessible by boat, such as Oregon, the Sandwich Islands (now Hawaii),
Mexico, Chile, Peru, and even China. When reports did reach the east coast, people were more
skeptical. Though the Gold fever soon caught them, President at the time James K. Polk, announced
the positive results of a report of the finding of gold in California and actually included it in his
inaugural address. This really made people believe in the Gold Rush discovery and the race was on to

The Hall Of Fame For College Basketball
The Hall of Fame for college basketball players was on the wall. It had just recently been updated
after the Hall of Fame presentation of Saturday. I had just woken up feeling cold. I looked out the

pane. I was still really tired after the late night of getting praised on my amazing basketball skills,
finally I had been recognized and everyone was telling me that I needed to declare that I m joining the
NBA as soon as possible! I then declared for the NBA draft halfway through my season.
The election for the new president was going on at that moment, but he wasn t really interested in the

thing he heard though was that he didn t like basketball, how could anyone not like basketball? How
could I get rid of this new president to be? I looked up on the black market on the deep dark web for
an assassin. There were a few ads in there for Hit man s pest control and Hit man agent. I rang the Hit

him that I wanted the election to be stopped and the person who was winning the election to be killed,

Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit Analysis
Throughout Jeanette Winterson s Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit and Christina Rossetti s Selected
Poems , fruit is often used as a symbol to explore deeper meanings within the texts, such as sexuality,
sin and temptation in the form of homosexuality and Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, the psyche
and differing beliefs of religious followers and atheists. This exploration is further illuminated by

The use of the *find out what kind of word it is* unpecked has connotations to the idea of virginity
when paired with the noun cherries , and presents the image of something that is untouched and pure.
This would all change once the girls had been subjected to the goblin fruits. If we take the
consumption of the goblin fruits as the loss of innocence and, in this case, virginity, then the poem can
be seen as a warning to Victorian society about the dangers of temptation. If we look at the fable of
Jeanie within the poem, she was tempted by the goblin fruits, which resulted in her becoming ill and
dying. The Victorians didn t like to talk about sex, but they were fascinated with it. This links back to
Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit and the idea of temptation, as Jeanette has to keep her relationships
with Melanie and Katy, and her sexuality hidden, due to the forbidden nature of it, and the views of
the church community. This in turn links back to the idea of forbidden fruit that Adam and Eve
consumed, which caused them to be thrown from the Garden of Eden, and the idea of Paradise. This
comes back full circle to the idea of the forbidden fruit of the

Arsenic Research Papers
Brianna Cross 10/28/16 Chemistry Essay Arsenic Arsenic is one of the most toxic elements that can be
found on Earth. Arsenic has a symbol of As and an atomic number of 33. It is a metalloid which gives
it both metal and nonmetal characteristics. Arsenic has many allotropes, but the gray form is important
for industry. The three main allotropes are metallic gray, black, and yellow. Gray arsenic is brittle and
has a low hardness (based on the Moh s hardness scale) yet a high density. Yellow arsenic is soft and
waxy. It is least dense and most toxic. It is also transformed into gray arsenic by light. Black arsenic is
brittle and glassy. It is a poor electrical conductor as well. Inorganic and organic compounds of arsenic
are found in many places among the earth. Arsenic is discovered in the environment from both nature
and certain human activities. Arsenic is usually found in soils, sediments, and groundwater. The

when they were young, showed a higher level of aggressive behavior when they became teenagers,
and when they grew to be 30, the ones who watched a lot of TV when they were young, were more
likely to be arrested and prosecuted for criminal acts.
The research seems to definitely support the argument that children s television is too violent. This
being so, many parents may ask What can I do? Scientists who believe that children learn aggressive
behavior from TV also point out that parents have the power over what their children watch. Because
of this, many scientists recommend a number of things that parents can do.

  • 3. The Software Development Life Cycle The Software Development Life Cycle is a model, which consists of multiple steps or phases. This model is used for the development of software or application. The purpose of SDLC is to make software more efficient and effective. The life cycle typically has six phases. It starts with analysis and design phase, then the implementation/ construction phase, testing phase, release or deployment phase and ends with maintenance phase. The analysis phase determines why the need for the software arose, the deliverables or outcome expected from the software or system and also identifies the various requirements for the development. It is very important to involve users, stakeholders and working engineers in this phase, to ensure that the Why criteria is thoroughly fleshed out. A well worked out analysis phase will help developers and architects to successfully work on the given requirements in the design phase. The design phase might also involve building several use cases and building prototypes for users. Design can be logical design, physical design or architectural design. In the construction phase, physical construction is done to complete the software (i.e. programming, hardware, software and so on). The implementation phase turns the design into an actual product. The next phase tests the software for possible vulnerabilities and bugs. This is to ensure that the product is safe from possible security breach. The product is tested in the real world to see if it functions as ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. DNA In Crime Scene Investigation Nowadays, DNA is a crucial component of a crime scene investigation, used to both to identify perpetrators from crime scenes and to determine a suspect s guilt or innocence (Butler, 2005). The method of constructing a distinctive fingerprint from an individual s DNA was first described by Alec Jeffreys in 1985. He discovered regions of repetitions of nucleotides inherent in DNA strands that differed from person to person (now known as variable number of tandem repeats, or VNTRs), and developed a technique to adjust the length variation into a definitive identity marker (Butler, 2005). Since then, DNA fingerprinting has been refined to be an indispensible source of evidence, expanded into multiple methods befitting different types of DNA ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Each person inherits two copies of these markers from his or her mother and father, so a higher similarity denotes a closer biological relationship. The probability of two samples matching is around one in a billion (dna.gov). DNA profiles are compiled by using gel or capillary electrophoresis to separate samples into a pattern distinctive of the subject s DNA based on ionic charge, size, or mobility. Usually, samples in the database are searched at moderate stringency, which requires that all alleles between the two samples match, but the number of alleles can vary, accounting for DNA contamination or degradation. Partial, or candidate, matches are samples that have a similar number of alleles in the forensic profile but are not exact, and are used in familial DNA searching to find close biological relatives of the original forensic profile. Other evidence is used to determine relatives, including Y chromosome analysis, which traces family relationships based on the fact that the Y chromosome is transmitted directly between a father and his sons; age; and geographic location. The process is based on the principle that first order relatives have closer DNA profiles than unrelated individuals, and also on the sociological assumption that criminal tendencies appear in families; according to the Bureau of Justice Statistics Correctional Populations ... Since I went there after a long tiring teaching day, I asked for some food. The family members started giving each other a look. After asking them the reason, one of the sisters told me how can you eat here, we are Walmikis . My first encounter with castesism that left me silent for a moment.. In doing so, a person is typically secured in a facility that is specially designed for that purpose. Moreover, incarceration remains one of the most severe forms of punishment that our society can impose (National Research Council, 2014). Usually, prison terms are reserved for those found guilty of committing more serious crimes such as violent felonies. Incarceration may be deemed justified as a means of preventing future crimes by incapacitating those who would otherwise be committing crimes within a free society (National Research Council, 2014). • 12. Effects Of Pivotal Response Treatment On Language Expansion Effects of pivotal response treatment on language expansion in children with autism Stock, Mirenda, and Smith (2013) compared the effectiveness of private group applied behavior analysis (GABA) and pivotal response treatment (PRT) on several domains of development in children with autism spectrum disorder. Progress and effectiveness of treatment was assessed through several measures, such as the Preschool Language Scale, the Merill Palmer Revised Scales, the Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales, the Child Behavior Checklist, and the Parenting Stress Index Short Form. In the GABA group, intervention was individualized based on strengths and weaknesses of each child, and structured 1:1 discrete trial training as well as generalized 1:2 teaching was implemented. Target programs included imitation, manding, receptive language, object matching, adaptive skills, and social skills training. Intervention took place both in intensive teaching and natural teaching environments in a preschool like setting. In the PRT group, individualized intervention goals focused on functional communication skills, developmentally appropriate social and play skills, as well as adaptive skills. • 14. Argumentative Essay On Organ Donation The medical industry had been achieving more in the stage of medical advancements, though they are still in the early phase. Artificial organs have been one of those achievements. Although they have achieved such, artificial organs are not perfect. Most doctors as well as patients would prefer to replace a dying organ with a compatible human organ, rather than with an artificial or animal organ. Yet due to a there being less organs donated than recipients, artificial and animal organs are becoming more common in transplants. Most of this issue is because people are unaware of how organ donation works, the organs that can be donated, how many people are in need, and the advancements that have happened in the field. Organ donation saves hundreds of lives every year, but many lives are recklessly lost due to a shortage of organ donors. Organ donation is the medical process of voluntarily giving one or more of your organs to someone in need, whether it be someone you know or a stranger. It is strictly voluntary, no payment for the organ/s will be given from the hospital, the recipient or the recipients family. In organ donation, there are two types of donations, living organ donation and deceased organ donation. Living organ donation is when the donor is still alive and voluntarily chooses to donate one or more of their organs to a recipient(s) in need. Whereas, deceased organ donation happens after the donor has passed away, and consent was given to be able to donate their organs. In living organ donation, before a donor can donate there are tests administrated to see if the donor is suitable to donate. There is an evaluation of the donor done to make sure that no physical, psychological, or emotional harm will happen to them before, during, or after donating (Organdonor.gov U.S. Government Information on Organ Donation and Transplantation). In living organ donation, most donations happen within family members, or between close friends, although there are stranger donations that happen. Living organ donors should generally be physically fit, in good health, and between the ages of 18 to 60. They should not have a history or have diabetes, cancer, high blood pressure, kidney disease, or heart disease ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

You have people with high tempers, you got the lazy people that don t ever do anything, and the over achievers and everyone is about in the middle of those three. I have taken a personality test and learned that I have an Executive personality type, if you do not know what that means I am like the boss in a business. This trait is held by less than 11% of the population. I am stubborn, organized, and judgmental. My personality showed that one of my weaknesses is stubbornness, for example they are reluctant to trust other opinions . Sometimes being stubborn can be helpful and other times it can be hurtful, for example if you want to go over to your friends house but your mom says no sometimes if you keep trying she might say yes. Or like the other times she gets annoyed and tells you to go away. There are three things that being stubborn makes harder for me: trying to be flexible, getting along with my parents, and shopping. Trying to be flexible is hard because if my mom makes something for dinner that I don t really like or that I just am not feeling, I will eat cereal or somethings else. Another reason is trying to get along with my parents, because I always think that I am right and they are wrong. For example if I want to go over to a friends house and they say no I give them reasons why I should go. Then last shopping is especially hard because one I am stubborn so I don t settle. • 17. The Importance Of Minority Rights In America America is the number 1 nation in the world! is a common phrase we hear time and time again. American citizens, in my opinion, have a distorted view on how awesome our country is. America was founded on the idea of freedom at least freedom for white men at the time. While we have grown and made bounds for the rights of minorities like African Americans, Hispanics and women; there is still room to grow. So many of our citizens feel disenfranchised by our government and that our implemented democracy doesn t grant them the same rights as others. This is usually a feeling felt by those in minority groups. Many in the majority don t realize that there are these discrepancies in our democracy because it s not something that affects them. That is one of the obstacles, many turn a blind eye to the injustices they see within our democracy because they do not want to get involved or they want the status quo to stay intact. The majority s desire to stay on top in our country is a huge influence in how those in the minority then view their abilities. Many minority members feel hopeless and that despite speaking up a power shift to equality will never be attainable. There is a profound lack of representation of minority groups in offices of power. As discussed in this class, there have only even been eight African American US Senators, and only two currently in the Senate now. This lack of representation harms minority youth because when they have grand dreams of changing the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The piglets all had different factors and the piglets where all still born. We started observing these piglets on September 11th 2017. We observed these piglets for three weeks until mostly all of the piglets where decomposed all the way to bones. The piglet that was burned (piglet 2) was the one to decompose the fastest out of the natural state piglet in the grass (piglet 1) and a buried piglet (piglet 10). My initial thought was correct that piglet 2 would decompose fastest due to less skin for the bugs to get through the skin and get inside of the piglet. Piglet 2 decomposed on day 9 it was completely bones with no skin or flesh left on the bones due to maggots and other insects. Piglet 1 still had maggots on its legs on day 9 and was decomposed on day 11 with only bones left. The piglet 10 still has not been completely decomposed on day 15. The speed of decomposition is different when the piglet is naked on the black top (piglet6) or a clothed piglet on black top (piglet 7). Although, the increase of albumen quality wasn t significant (P 0.05), no reasonable explanation can be offered for the improvement in albumen quality in the microbial additive groups. Jensen et al. Subsequent studies indicated that trace elements was been involved (Jensen and Maurice, 1978). • 34. Gold Rush Thesis The Gold Rush pioneered the way for many people to seek and find their own glory. From around the time of 1848 to early 1850 s, thousands of people across the world were flooding in to the vast mountains of the Sierra Nevada in California. Discovered early on in 1848, it took no time for the eastern side of the United Sates to hear of the strike and wanted a piece of striking it rich. This magnified history and became one of the most significant events to shape America in the first half of the 19th century. Many people did fail in their search for glory but those few who succeeded in The Gold Rush, would soon find that their lives would change forever. Gold was an unknown to many across America and around the world. On January 24th, 1848, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Marshall and Sutter both wanted to keep the news of the discovery a secret; as they wanted it all for themselves. That turned out to not be the case as word got out and by mid March, at least one newspaper was flooding the news with how much gold was being unearthed at Sutter s Mill. Many did not believe this notion of discovery and thought of it as more of a political stunt. Though in disbelief, a storekeeper by the name of Sam Brannan set of a frenzy when he displayed through town a vial of gold attained from Sutter s Creek. This made people believe in the discovery and no later than mid June, roughly three fourths of the male population of San Francisco had left to the gold mines for their portion. And by August of 1848, the numbers of miners in the area reached 4,000. As news spread of the fortunes being made in California, people from all over the world came flooding in. The first came were from lands that were accessible by boat, such as Oregon, the Sandwich Islands (now Hawaii), Mexico, Chile, Peru, and even China. When reports did reach the east coast, people were more skeptical. Though the Gold fever soon caught them, President at the time James K. Polk, announced the positive results of a report of the finding of gold in California and actually included it in his inaugural address. This really made people believe in the Gold Rush discovery and the race was on to ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

I had just woken up feeling cold. I looked out the window of my dorm to see the dark, cloudy day outside with the rain pelting down on the window pane. I was still really tired after the late night of getting praised on my amazing basketball skills, finally I had been recognized and everyone was telling me that I needed to declare that I m joining the NBA as soon as possible! I then declared for the NBA draft halfway through my season. The election for the new president was going on at that moment, but he wasn t really interested in the elections, he heard on the radio what the soon to be president didn t like and what he did. The main thing he heard though was that he didn t like basketball, how could anyone not like basketball? How could I get rid of this new president to be? I looked up on the black market on the deep dark web for an assassin. There were a few ads in there for Hit man s pest control and Hit man agent. I rang the Hit man agent and there was a muffled voice coming over the phone, I could barely understand him. I told him that I wanted the election to be stopped and the person who was winning the election to be killed, and cover up your tracks well! There was one thing I didn t want to happen. I didn t want to be arrested just as I was about to get into the NBA. No one would want me on their team when they ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The use of the *find out what kind of word it is* unpecked has connotations to the idea of virginity when paired with the noun cherries , and presents the image of something that is untouched and pure. This would all change once the girls had been subjected to the goblin fruits. If we take the consumption of the goblin fruits as the loss of innocence and, in this case, virginity, then the poem can be seen as a warning to Victorian society about the dangers of temptation. If we look at the fable of Jeanie within the poem, she was tempted by the goblin fruits, which resulted in her becoming ill and dying. The Victorians didn t like to talk about sex, but they were fascinated with it. This links back to Oranges Are Not the Only Fruit and the idea of temptation, as Jeanette has to keep her relationships with Melanie and Katy, and her sexuality hidden, due to the forbidden nature of it, and the views of the church community. This in turn links back to the idea of forbidden fruit that Adam and Eve consumed, which caused them to be thrown from the Garden of Eden, and the idea of Paradise. This comes back full circle to the idea of the forbidden fruit of the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The research seems to definitely support the argument that children s television is too violent. This being so, many parents may ask What can I do? Scientists who believe that children learn aggressive behavior from TV also point out that parents have the power over what their children watch. Because of this, many scientists recommend a number of things that parents can do. Reduce the amount of hours of TV that your children watch, watch at least one episode of the shows your children watch, and when they see a violent act on the show that their children are watching, discuss it with your child and tell them that this kind of behavior is not good and not the way to solve problems.
