Physically it was a 13ft high wall topped with barbed wire which extended 27 miles through the

Lubrication is the use of viscous fluids to reduce friction and damage between solid surfaces. In
hydrodynamic lubrication, a shaft rotating in a bearing is supported by a layer or wedge of oil so
the shaft is not in contact with bearing material. The surfaces are in sliding motion relative to each
other. Lubrication theory for journal bearings describes the flow of fluids in which the fluid film
lubricant thickness is far smaller than the dimensions of the bearing. A major focus in lubrication
theory is to determine the pressure distribution in the fluid volume. In this way, the forces of the
shaft being supported by the lubricant can be measured. A purpose of analyzing crankshaft
bearings is to diminish friction and wear due to small film thicknesses [1]. The minimum film
thickness of a journal bearing should be greater than the average asperity height (unevenness,
roughness) of the journal bearing surface to prevent any surface contact, and consequently, avoid

relationship between the Whitetip and the octopus is an example of predation. Predation is the
preying of one animal on other animals. The species of octopi are usually mostly carnivores,
although some are omnivores. The Whitetip Reef Shark species is also a carnivorous species.

Throughout unit two we looked at many different societies, not in Europe. While there were many
influential civilizations in Europe during this time, there was also many civilizations making major

U.s. Politics, Citizen Safety, And Economy
The U.S. has been involved in the war on drugs across the U.S. Mexican border for almost a
decade. While the United States has continued to be an active helper in assisting the Mexican
government, the level of violence and gang related deaths are still increasing at an alarming rate.
So far, the majority of U.S. involvement has been in the way of money and physical enforcement;
both Mexicoand our border with them have become heavily militarized in the years since the war
on drugs was launched. However, this military action doesn t seem to be having any effect accept
to spark intensified revolts and counter violence by the Mexican cartels. The Mexican security
crisis is no longer contained within their borders, and it is beginning to affect U.S politics, citizen

1.Congress readdresses our militarized approach to security and control in Mexico and focuses on
the other aspects of the Merida Initiative, such as modernizing the border and interacting with

/familial support has on student s GPAs. An online survey (Appendix 2) was used to collect data on
independent and dependent variables. The independent variables included living situation (e.g.

grandparents), support systems available to the students in the DSN program, interruptions that
were experienced by the students, the students preferred location to study, and how many hours a
