2. BIOGRAPHY OF THE WRITER:
George Eliot isn’t real.He is an unreal person
created by a real writer, her name is Mary Anne
Evans. She was born in Nuneaton,a town of
England. And she died on December in London in
1880.
3. WORKS OF THE AUTOR:
She isn’t a famous writer before, because she
hasn’t a very interesting book but today is know
as the better writer in England. She writed this
books:
The Mill on the Floss, 1860.
Silas Marner, 1861;
Romola, 1863;
Felix Holt, the Radical, 1866.
Middlemarch, 1871–1872.
Daniel Deronda, 1876.
The first book that she writed is Adam Bede in
1859.
4. ADAM BEDE:
This is the summary of the story:
In this, his first novel, Eliot would create a much stronger
than hitherto permitted in the Victorian novel in the
context of English rural life as he knew it. In the
character of Hetty Sorrel he introduces us to a young
woman seduced and led to the murder of his son, but his
inspiration unfolds sympathetic way that makes this
lively and pathetic figure. While the character of Hetty
intuition allowed to act freely, his intellect was devoted
to control the "good" characters in the novel: Dinah and
Adam Bede. The problem that is presented to George
Eliot while novelist was to determine who would finally
get control, if intuition or intellect. In the end, he wins
the intellect, marking the time of the crisis as an artist.
5. MY OPINION OF THIS BOOK:
Adam Bede is a story about love, self-
deception,religious feeling, innocence, and
experience.I like do this types of works but I
think that the work is very difficult because is a
very strange story.
