4. she was the fifth of six siblings.
Her mother died on September 21 of 1821
and in August 1824 , Charlotte and Emily
were sent with her older sisters, Mary and
Elizabeth, to the college of Clergy
Daughters in Cowan Bridge ( Lancashire ),
where they fell ill with tuberculosis. In this
school Charlotte Brontë was inspired to
describe the sinister Lowood school that
appears in her novel Jane Eyre

5. One of her sisters discovered by chance the
poems she wrote. The three sisters then decided
to publish a poetry book
Like her sisters, Emily's health was always very delicate. He died
on 19 of December of 1848 of tuberculosis at age 30, having
contracted a cold in September during the funeral of his
brother. She was buried in the church of San Miguel of All Saints in
Haworth, West Yorkshire, England.
