accepted as truths . We forget that these words and definitions have been created as representations.

Earl Warren served as Chief Justice in the the Supreme Court replacing Fred M. Vinson as Chief
Justice after his death in 1953. In the period from 1961 to 1969, Warren Court presided over the
criminal justice system in the United States, using the 4th and 14th Amendment to extend
constitutional protections to all courts in every State. This is known as the nationalization of the
Bill of Rights. In these years, cases pertaining to the right to legal counsel, confessions, searches,
and the treatment of juvenile criminals all happen during. The Warren Court s modification in the
criminal justice system began with the case of Mapp v. Ohio, the first of several important cases in
which it reassess the role of the 14th Amendment as it applied to State judicial systems. Mapp v.

When I spoke to the co operating teacher they told me Wednesday was the day they focus on
Social Studies/ELA. They explained that the class does both Common Core Social Studies
which is along with the Globe Ethnic Studies where they learn about the country given to them
for the Expo. I can truly say I have learned a lot from just observing these schools, in the
classroom I have notice a lot on unfairness toward some of the students. The body language and
behavior of a certain teacher it is mind boggling. As an aspiring teacher these are signs that will
help to shape and mold me to be the best Teacher, where student can look to me as a role model.
My observation may not include much about Social Studies in the school, but it does include
