To create a blog using Blogger, you must first create a Gmail account by visiting http://mail.google.com and clicking "Create a new account", where you will enter your name and choose a username. With your new Gmail account, visit blogger.com, click "Create A Blog", fill in the form to name your blog and choose a template, and give it a professional title related to your name.

1. To create a blog using Blogger software, you must have a google mail (also
known as Gmail) account.
To create a new Gmail account visit http://mail.google.com. Your screen
should look like the one below. Click on the lower right hand corner button
“Create a new account”
The next window you see will prompt you to enter your first and last name as
well as a username. I recommend something simple for you to remember such
as MrsDevendorf or CaitlinDevendorf.
Record your username and password in a safe place as you will need it to
create your blog in the next step.
Setting up a Blog: Using Blogger.com
Use your gmail account you created to set up your blog.
www.blogger.com Click the orange Create A Blog button
Fill in the blanks to create your account, name your blog and choose a
template. Give your blog a professional title – something closely related to
your name works best. You can easily change and customize the look of your
blog template later if you are unsure of which design you’d like to use.
