4. So how does it work?
HTML uses tags.
The tags are commands, which tell the computer
where text and images should go on a page and
what it should look like.
5. What do HTML tags look like?
HTML tags are written using angle brackets like this to start a
command <body>
and with a forward slash inside the bracket to end it </body>
6. What do the tags do?
Web pages are broken down into 3 main parts
1. The Head
2. The Body
3. The Footer
Each of these parts has its own tag:
<head> </head>
<body> </body>
<footer> </footer>
These tags can be used to tell the computer where on the
page
to display the content
7. So how do I make a page?
To create your own page on a website or blog you would
need to write some HTML code as well as the page you
want to publish.
You might write something that looks like this:
Tells the computer
it’s a web page
The title
The main part of the
page
