This document summarizes a study that examined the academic motivation levels and attitudes towards social studies of 458 secondary students in public schools in the Philippines. The study found that students had high levels of academic motivation and positive attitudes towards social studies based on survey results. It also found no significant differences in academic motivation or attitudes between male and female students. Finally, the study found a significant relationship between academic motivation and positive attitudes towards social studies.

This study aims to produce responsibility character module to improve student self-regulated learning. The research method uses research and development. The research subjects involved in the need assessment were 248 students of Guidance and Counseling, School of Education, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta which was obtained by random sampling technique. Data collection using the scale of self-regulated learning. The scale of selfregulated learning is adapted from Zimmerman's theory which consists of three aspects: cognitive, motivation and behavioral aspects. Data were analyzed using mean test. The result of the need assessment is used as a reference to develop the responsibility character module to improve student self-regulated learning. This study successfully created a module of responsibility character to improve university students’ self-regulated learning which is consisted of 12 materials that had been validated and revised; therefore it is eligible to be implemented in the self-regulated learning context.

This study described self-concept has an influence on learning achievement in mathematics. The type of research used in this study was descriptive quantitative research to determine the relationship between students’ self-concept and learning achievement in mathematics. This research was conducted in class VIII of State Junior High School (SMPN) 1 Palasah, Indonesia with 151 students as respondents. The self-concept data was obtained from a study questionnaire that had previously estimated its validity and reliability. This analysis is used to explain the data in the form of standard deviation, average, and low score. Self-concept is categorized into three categories (high, medium, and low). Self-concept is categorized into two kinds, namely positive self-concept, and negative self-concept. Categorization of self-concept can also be divided into three kinds. A high self-concept is also called a more positive self-concept, a moderate selfconcept is also called a positive self-concept, and a low self-concept is also called a negative self-concept. Therefore, when students have a positive selfconcept, it affects learning achievement positively as students needhaveaves to have a self-concept in learning mathematics.

increasing every day with the discussion and different approaches in society.
It could be suggested that the increase in this interest has been due to both
the contribution and damages of these issues to the environment. The present
study aimed to analyze the socio-scientific issues instructed with various
strategies, methods and techniques in different learning environments in
educational institutions as a result of the developments in science and
technology due to social needs based on teacher perceptions. The study
group included 50 teachers in different fields and employed in various
schools in Turkey. The study sample was assigned with criterion sampling
technique and the admission criterion was employment in Turkish public
schools. In the study, the data were collected with a semi-structured
interview form developed by the authors, and the findings were analyzed
with content analysis. The study findings demonstrated that the teachers in
the study group had different and significant perceptions on the instruction
of socio-scientific topics in learning environments.

Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Project-Based Learning (PjBL) is increase effectiveness, create meaningful learning and influence student attitudes in future career pursuit. There are several studies in the literature reporting different aspects of STEM into a PjBL pedagogy. However, the effect of implementing STEM PjBL in terms of improving students’ skills in self-efficacy levels in physics mechanics at high school level has not been demonstrated as expected in the previous literature. This study followed a quasi-experimental research method. Bandura’s social cognitive theory is used to assess and compare the effect of STEM PjBL with conventional teaching method on students’ self-efficacy level in learning physics among over 100 high school students. The result illustrated that STEM PjBL improve students’ self-efficacy to solve physics problem. Also, the study proposes a guideline for future research.

ABSTRACT: The independent curriculum as a revolutionary curriculum in Indonesia has many
implementations, one of which is strengthening the Pancasila student profile project. Globalization and
industrial revolution 4.0 have encouraged the government to instill students' morals with Pancasila values.
Curriculum management as a basis for implementing a program is very much needed. In fact, not all educational
units understand and interpret this profile project correctly. Therefore, researchers conducted research to analyze
curriculum management related to planning, implementing, and evaluating of strengthening the Pancasila
student profile project at State JHS 1 Getasan. The research method used is qualitative research, where
interviews, observations and documentation are carried out to strengthen the findings. The results of this
research illustrate that curriculum management is meaningful for the sustainability of profile projects. Planning,
implementation, evaluation and follow-up need to be improved in the areas of collaboration, communication,
and additional references. Therefore, it is hoped that this research can become an illustration and reference for
improving curriculum management to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students.

This study examined the relationship between social maturity, school adjustment, and academic achievement among 347 girls attending a private residential school in North India. Measures of social maturity and school adjustment were administered and students' end-of-year academic scores were obtained. Results showed a significant positive correlation between social maturity and school adjustment. Significant differences were also found in social maturity and school adjustment between groups with low, average, and high academic achievement. Specifically, students with lower achievement had poorer social maturity and adjustment than those with higher achievement. The findings suggest that greater social maturity is related to better adjustment at school, which may positively impact academic performance.
This study examined the influence of teaching practices on undergraduate student mental health and wellbeing. Mixed methods were used, including a student survey, instructor interviews, and student focus groups. Preliminary findings indicate that clear expectations and feeling connected promote student wellbeing. Students feel supported when they understand what is expected for exams and coursework. However, too much detail can limit critical thinking. Providing engagement and clarity helps students feel able to succeed. Overall, teaching practices that motivate students and support their development best promote learning and mental health.

In the early school years, the emphasis is more and more on cognitive output factors. Non-cognitive development is receiving less attention than before, though such factors are important determinants of academic success. This study aims at answering two questions: (1) How do young children perform on a number of non-cognitive characteristics, more specifically, attitudes, behavior, and relationships? (2) Are there any differences with regard to those characteristics according to the pupils’ social and ethnic/immigrant background? To answer the questions, data from the Dutch large-scale cohort study COOL5-18 were analyzed. The main sample included nearly 6500 grade 2 pupils (6-year-olds). Teachers answered questions about their pupils’ attitudes, behavior, and relationships. One- and two-way analyses of variance were employed, and effect sizes were computed. The results showed that the teachers rated their pupil’s work attitude as lower than their behavior and popularity. They were more positive regarding their relationship with the pupils. More important was that there were differences according to the pupils’ social and ethnic/immigrant backgrounds: ethnic minority/immigrant pupils scored less positive on all non-cognitive characteristics than native Dutch pupils, and the higher the parental educational level, the more favorable their children performed on the non-cognitive characteristics. These findings are discussed and possible solutions are presented.

An Analysis on the Attitudes of Academic Staff towards Distance Educationinventionjournals
This document analyzes the attitudes of academic staff at Namık Kemal University towards distance education. A survey was administered to 283 of the university's 955 academic staff. The survey found that staff had moderate attitudes towards the positive aspects of distance education, weak attitudes towards the negatives, and high attitudes towards the advantages. questionnaire, and a concept understanding ability test. The feasibility
assessment uses assessments from media experts, learning material experts,
and learning instruments. The practicality assessment of the module consists
of a teacher response questionnaire and a student response questionnaire.
The data analysis of the module’s effectiveness on the ability to understand
the concept and attitude of caring for the environment was analyzed using
the t-test and MANOVA test with a significance level of 0.05. The results of
the study showed that: i) The module met the eligibility criteria based on the
results of assessments from media experts, learning materials experts, and
learning instruments that get an assessment in the “very feasible” category to
use; ii) The module met the practicality criteria based on the results of the
teacher response questionnaire assessment and the student response
assessment questionnaire who received an assessment in the “very feasible”
category; iii) The module was effective in increasing students’
understanding of concepts and environmental care attitudes. The
effectiveness is shown from the t-test and MANOVA test results with a
significance level of 0.001.

Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Project-Based Learning (PjBL) is increase effectiveness, create meaningful learning and influence student attitudes in future career pursuit. There are several studies in the literature reporting different aspects of STEM into a PjBL pedagogy. However, the effect of implementing STEM PjBL in terms of improving students’ skills in self-efficacy levels in physics mechanics at high school level has not been demonstrated as expected in the previous literature. This study followed a quasi-experimental research method. Bandura’s social cognitive theory is used to assess and compare the effect of STEM PjBL with conventional teaching method on students’ self-efficacy level in learning physics among over 100 high school students. The result illustrated that STEM PjBL improve students’ self-efficacy to solve physics problem. Also, the study proposes a guideline for future research.

industrial revolution 4.0 have encouraged the government to instill students' morals with Pancasila values.
Curriculum management as a basis for implementing a program is very much needed. In fact, not all educational
units understand and interpret this profile project correctly. Therefore, researchers conducted research to analyze
curriculum management related to planning, implementing, and evaluating of strengthening the Pancasila
student profile project at State JHS 1 Getasan. The research method used is qualitative research, where
interviews, observations and documentation are carried out to strengthen the findings. The results of this
research illustrate that curriculum management is meaningful for the sustainability of profile projects. Planning,
implementation, evaluation and follow-up need to be improved in the areas of collaboration, communication,
and additional references. Therefore, it is hoped that this research can become an illustration and reference for
improving curriculum management to strengthen the profile of Pancasila students.

This study examined the relationship between social maturity, school adjustment, and academic achievement among 347 girls attending a private residential school in North India. Measures of social maturity and school adjustment were administered and students' end-of-year academic scores were obtained. Results showed a significant positive correlation between social maturity and school adjustment. Significant differences were also found in social maturity and school adjustment between groups with low, average, and high academic achievement. Specifically, students with lower achievement had poorer social maturity and adjustment than those with higher achievement. The findings suggest that greater social maturity is related to better adjustment at school, which may positively impact academic performance.
This study examined the influence of teaching practices on undergraduate student mental health and wellbeing. In the early school years, the emphasis is more and more on cognitive output factors. Non-cognitive development is receiving less attention than before, though such factors are important determinants of academic success. This study aims at answering two questions: (1) How do young children perform on a number of non-cognitive characteristics, more specifically, attitudes, behavior, and relationships? (2) Are there any differences with regard to those characteristics according to the pupils’ social and ethnic/immigrant background? To answer the questions, data from the Dutch large-scale cohort study COOL5-18 were analyzed. The main sample included nearly 6500 grade 2 pupils (6-year-olds). Teachers answered questions about their pupils’ attitudes, behavior, and relationships. One- and two-way analyses of variance were employed, and effect sizes were computed. The results showed that the teachers rated their pupil’s work attitude as lower than their behavior and popularity. They were more positive regarding their relationship with the pupils. More important was that there were differences according to the pupils’ social and ethnic/immigrant backgrounds: ethnic minority/immigrant pupils scored less positive on all non-cognitive characteristics than native Dutch pupils, and the higher the parental educational level, the more favorable their children performed on the non-cognitive characteristics. These findings are discussed and possible solutions are presented.

The data analysis of the module’s effectiveness on the ability to understand
the concept and attitude of caring for the environment was analyzed using
the t-test and MANOVA test with a significance level of 0.05. The results of
the study showed that: i) The module met the eligibility criteria based on the
results of assessments from media experts, learning materials experts, and
learning instruments that get an assessment in the “very feasible” category to
use; ii) The module met the practicality criteria based on the results of the
teacher response questionnaire assessment and the student response
assessment questionnaire who received an assessment in the “very feasible”
category; iii) The module was effective in increasing students’
understanding of concepts and environmental care attitudes. The
effectiveness is shown from the t-test and MANOVA test results with a
significance level of 0.001.
