The document describes a 2012 research study that developed a mathematics screening test for children with learning disabilities. The study involved 342 second grade students in Nakhon Ratchasima Municipal schools. The researcher analyzed the data from the screening test, which included 6 subtests related to math skills. The results showed the screening test was highly reliable, with subtests focusing on visual discrimination, counting, place values, addition, subtraction, and word problem solving. Cutoff points were determined using the 10th percentile rank for each subtest.

Mathematics is considered as dry subject and students do not find anything interesting in it. This impression about Mathematics can be reversed with the help of recreational activities in Mathematics. The present study tries to find out the effectiveness of integrating riddles in teaching mathematics among eighth standard students. Two equivalent group experimental-designs are employed for this study. The investigator has chosen 40 eighth standard students for the study. According to the scoring of pre-test, 20 students were chosen as control group and 20 students were chosen as experimental group. Finally the investigator concludes; (a) There is a significant difference between the means of students thought through conventional method and puzzles and riddles way of learning group. (b) There is a significant difference between the means of the Post-Test scores of control group and experimental group students with respect to the knowledge, understanding and application objectives.

ENSEMBLE LEARNING MODEL FOR SCREENING AUTISM IN CHILDRENijcsit
Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurological condition associated with communication, repetitive,
and social challenges. ASD screening is the process of detecting potential autistic traits in individuals
using tests conducted by a medical professional, a caregiver, or a parent. These tests often contain large
numbers of items to be covered by the user and they generate a score based on scoring functions designed
by psychologists and behavioural scientists. Potential technologies that may improve the reliability and
accuracy of ASD tests are Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. This paper presents a new
framework for ASD screening based on Ensembles Learning called Ensemble Classification for Autism
Screening (ECAS). ECAS employs a powerful learning method that considers constructing multiple
classifiers from historical cases and controls and then utilizes these classifiers to predict autistic traits in
test instances. ECAS performance has been measured on a real dataset related to cases and controls of
children and using different Machine Learning techniques. The results revealed that ECAS was able to
generate better classifiers from the children dataset than the other Machine Learning methods considered
in regard to levels of sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy.
We composed a lecture for students entering their first clinical year at UCL, chiefly to attempt to alleviate exam -related anxiety and analysed the feedback received to determine its efficacy.
This was presented as a poster at IAMSE, June 2013 (182), and adapted for an electronic poster at AMEE, August 2013 (5GG/7) and a short communication at FRAMPEIK, October 2013.
The process of learning algebra should ideally teach students good logic skills, the ability to compare and contrast circumstances, and to recognize patterns and make predictions. In a world with free CAS at our fingertips, the focus on these underlying skills is even more important than it used to be. ABSTRACT
The main purpose of this research was to develop
mathematics screening test. Three hundred and forty
two grade 2 students in Nakhon Ratchasima Municipal
schools were served as subjects. Mathematics
screening test has 6 subtests. The data was analyzed
by using correlation and percentile.
The result of research revealed that the reliability
of the screening test was .92. Mathematics screening
test has 6 subtests. They were visual discrimination,
counting, place values, addition, subtraction and word
problem solving. The cutoff points with the 10th
percentile rank from each subtest.
