An arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis measures pH, oxygen, and carbon dioxide levels in arterial blood to assess lung and acid-base balance functions of the body. It helps identify respiratory or metabolic acidosis or alkalosis. The ABG measures pH, partial pressures of oxygen and carbon dioxide, bicarbonate, and oxygen saturation. Conditions that can cause respiratory acidosis include COPD, asthma, and pneumonia which result in carbon dioxide retention. Respiratory alkalosis may occur due to hyperventilation during pregnancy, panic attacks, or sepsis. Metabolic acidosis can be caused by diabetic ketoacidosis, lactate excess, or renal disease. Metabolic alkalosis may be due to potassium loss
one can learn the step by step approach of ABG interpritation and its analysis from basics with the help of different case scenarios,Ref-NEJM article regarding physiological approach to acid base disbalance
This presentation discuss about acid-base-gas normal ratio and its indication in relation to varying abnormal level and how to manage it. This includes clinical analysis practice.

Arterial-blood gas test, It is an important investigation tool we use in monitor acid-base imbalance, indicate the severity of patient’s condition. It helps in diagnosis, And assessing the treatment. So in this research we are going to learn about Abg's definition, indication, Contraindication, common values
Steps of abg interpretation
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.
A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

Acetabularia Information For Class 9 .docxvaibhavrinwa19
Acetabularia acetabulum is a single-celled green alga that in its vegetative state is morphologically differentiated into a basal rhizoid and an axially elongated stalk, which bears whorls of branching hairs. The single diploid nucleus resides in the rhizoid.

2. INTRODUCTION
ABG tells the activity of two systems in
the body. If one system is disturbed, the
other tries to restore balance. Both
systems are concerned about keeping
blood pH in the normal range.
ABG measures pH, levels of oxygen and
carbon dioxide from an artery.
It is used to measure the lung function.
3. COMPONENTS AND NORMAL
RANGE :
COMPONENTS NORMAL
RANGE
pH 7.35 – 7.45
Partial pressure of
oxygen(PaO2)
75 – 100 mm Hg
Partial pressure of carbon
dioxide(PaCO2)
35- 45 mmHg
Bicarbonate (HCO3) 22 – 26 mEq/L
Oxygen Saturation 95 – 100%
4. STEPS FOR EASY
INTERPRETATION OF ABG
ROME Method
Respiratory Opposite – pH and CO2 goes
in opposite direction
Metabolic Equal – pH and CO2 goes in
same direction
5. STEPS
STEP 1 : IDENTIFY THE PLACE OF
pH
Normal 7.35 – 7.45
Acidosis < 7.35
Alkalosis >7.45
STEP 2 : IDENTIFY IF PaCO2 IS
Normal 35 -45
Acidosis < 35
Alkalosis >45
6. STEP 3 : IDENTIFY IF HCO3 IS
Normal 22- 26
Acidosis < 22
Alkalosis >26
