This document is a brief cartoon study of social influencers from 2006 to 2015 by PeopleBrowsr. It traces the evolution of influencers over time, from those with the most friends on social networks in 2009 to those who are contextually relevant in 2011. The study examines different types of influencers like bloggers, celebrities, employees within companies, and leaders of major social networks. It also shows how brands and marketers have recognized and started to work with influencers to help promote their products and services. The cartoon illustrations provide a lighthearted look at influencers and how their roles have changed as new social platforms like YouTube, Snapchat, and Instagram emerged.
