Job is completely different from
what you expected
You were hired in company in your chosen
department but with time and change of
requirements, your task has been modified
or changed and end up doing the work you
never expected .
How to fix:
Communicate clearly and explain your likes
and dislikes .This will help the manager to
utilize your skills in a more effective way.
Workload
Overwhelmed with workload
Sometimes due to your proactive
approach or to fill the shoes of an absent
employee, you need to take other work.
Here, workload could be unmanageable
since you will have a whole lists of tasks
to complete.
How to fix:
Approach and convince him that your
workload is unbearable . Help in
prioritizing work.
Difficult Co-worker
Problems faced by working
with a difficult colleague
Often at your workplace, you
meet few people with whom
working is difficult . Every
conversation with that person
devolves into disagreement and
tussle which can be harmful for
the shared project.
How to fix:
Keep your ego aside and
appreciate each other .
Personal Working Style
Your style of working
Everyone has a different style
of working; especially
sometimes it can be about
your productive timeline.
How to fix:
Identify your strength and
how to incorporate it to
increase your productivity.
Request for flexibility in the
set working style and assure
that it wont degrade the work
or delay it.
Major Blunder
Made a major mistake
Suppose you are working on a
crucial task and due to some
unintentional mistake, the project
got delayed.
How to fix:
Don’t panic or be defendable!
Admit your fault and take the full
responsibility. Explain the details
and how you are planning to
mitigate the damage.
Credit Takers
Your co-worker takes credit for
your work
It’s less likely but prone to happen
that you did all the hard work but
the person who was included at
the end or presenting it took full
credit.
How to fix :
Be proactive. Speak up before
someone else claims all your work.
Keep your manager in the loop. If
your co-worker anyway takes all the
credit then be fearless to tell the roles
& responsibilities . Do not worry
about not being called a team player.
Work Not Acknowledged
Boss doesn’t notice your
work
You’ve been peeling off your best
effort to deliver the project on time
but none of your performance has
registered in your manager’s radar.
How to fix :
Become your own advocate and
time to time, highlight your key
victory by keeping your boss in
the loop.

Job Dissatisfaction Job is completely different from what you expected You were hired in company in your chosen department but with time and change of requirements, your task has been modified or changed and end up doing the work you never expected . How to fix: Communicate clearly and explain your likes and dislikes .This will help the manager to utilize your skills in a more effective way.
  • 3. Workload Overwhelmed with workload Sometimes due to your proactive approach or to fill the shoes of an absent employee, you need to take other work. Here, workload could be unmanageable since you will have a whole lists of tasks to complete. How to fix: Approach and convince him that your workload is unbearable . Help in prioritizing work.
