- 2. Style sheet • On this photo we can see a pixel art stadium. The reason why I included this on my style sheet is because it has a very basic layout which I believe I will be able to replicate myself. • I also chose this photo because it is viewed from an angle that will be very similar to my game, so it will be easier to replicate the stadium. • The fans also move in a very basic motion on the game shown, which should easy enough to include if I create enough layers on Photoshop. • This game uses the biggest stars in football, such as Cristiano Ronaldo as shown on the photo. I also intend on replicating footballers on my game, however I do not believe they will look as similar as this. • I also intend on replicating the design of my players very similar to the photo shown, as I want them to have very large and noticeable heads with small bodies. • The final photo I will be including in my style sheet looks incredibly similar to how I intend on designing my game due to the camera angle, the pitch layout and the timer. • I also chose this photo because I really like the colors schemes that are running through the image. The pitch is very vibrant and the stadium is fully of different colors. I would also like to apply lots of vibrant colors to give my audience that extra sense of excitement whilst playing, because I know myself from being a gamer that colors can really change the mood of a game, which is seen through the game Limbo for example.

- 7. Contingency Planning Potential Issue Solution The first potential issue I could face is the computer turning off before I saved my work. After each important step I proceed through my video game I will save my work so that I won’t lose anything important. The next potential issue I could face is not being able to find the sound effects I need for my video game online. I will record the sound effects I need and then import them onto the computer using a memory card. Another issue I could face whilst making my video game is being unable to attend college due to illness. I have a MacBook at home that has all of the Adobe applications stored on it, so if I’m ill I can still complete my work. I might also decide that I don’t like my game design after I have already started designing it. I have a backup design layout in case I don’t or can’t make my first design. What if I don’t complete it in time? I will export it all over email so that whatever hasn’t been completed can then be completed over the Easter holiday in the unlikely event I do not finish my work. What if I can’t use soundtracks due to copyright? I will ensure I don’t make my work public so that I can’t get copyrighted.
- 8. Health and Safety Potential Issue How will the issue be avoided? I might get a headache if I spend too much time on the computer designing my game. Have breaks in between to avoid receiving a headache. I might receive cramp if I am sat down for too long. Make sure I stretch in between breaks to loosen up my muscles. I might get blurry vision if I look at the screen for too long on the computer. Try and prevent looking at screens on your break so that you eyes don’t start hurting. What if a drink spills on the cable or keyboard. Make sure that if I am thirsty I drink away from the computer to ensure I don’t spill it on the cable or keyboard. What if I trip over a cable? I will make sure all cables are safely placed under the desk so there is no possible way I will trip over it. What if I damage my back by leaning over for so long? I will try and sit up as straight as I can for as long as I can to prevent damaging my back.
