By having players chose dialogue. This will help deepen gameplay
And make the game more fun since the player has control over
What happens. In my research this was a very popular with
Games like mass effect and Star Wars The Old Republic.
It also makes the game more fun to make as there is lots of
Different ways to turn the game depending on your choices
And you can go wild with your imagination designing it
In my game I want a Text to make Roleplaying elements that will effect
How the game is played. This text will be used at the bottom of the
Screens when conversations turn up in the game. I want text in my
Game because it enhances the experience and according to my
Research and my survey, my target audience likes this in their games.
This pixel Text is the only real way text could work in a pixel game
Because of the resolution of the screen
In my game I want to have it layed out in squares like a chess
Board. This idea will also help it work out like a turn based
Strategy game as each character has a certain amount of
Actions before the turn is given to the other side. This feature
Was in some of my existing products during my research with
Games like X-Com. But these are features in other games such
As star wars Battlefield commander, which is a similar game to
Star Wars: Empire At War. The squares will be layed out to
Make it seem like a 3D environment, this will be harder to do but
I think it will be worth it in the end because it will look a lot better
Than a straight top down or a side scroller.
In my game I want to have turn based gameplay where the
Characters only have a few action points where they can
Move or shoot before their turn Is up. Once all the
Characters have used up their turns the enemy NPC's
Get their turn to move and attack the players characters.
This gameplay element will be the centre of the game so
Its important that its enjoyable for the player. My research
Into existing products such as X-Com 2 is very popular
With my target audience. I want to have this element in the
Game to make it more fun and different
