I saw, The Other Woman, written by, David Ives, at the UCM Blackbox Theatre on November 3,
2017. Connor Bosworth directed the show, and did a great job. The story surrounds an author who is
met by his sleepwalking wife. She seems to be a completely different person, and when she wakes up
in the morning she doesn t remember a thing. He writes about his nights with her in his story, and lies
to his wife saying that nothing happened. She seems to know what is going on, though she never
admits it, and becomes depressed. Then a month passes without a sound, until we re met by her
sleeping alter ego once again. The husband responds as he normally does, trying comfort her, then she
reveals that she isn t actually sleep walking this time. They get in an argument, but she starts going
back and forth between her sleep walking persona and her awake one until she ends up in the former,
who asks to sleep with his as they had before his awake wife got depressed, but this time he refuses to
give in. Crap, this was supposed to be without spoilers, my bad.
The reason I practically told the entire story in the last paragraph is because this was by far my

As much as humans don t want to admit it, the world wasn t solely created for us. The novel, Ishmael,
written by Daniel Quinn has given us an insight on how the world has been treated by man and how it
could end. In a time where the world is being destroyed we need to step up and protect the earth from
total destruction.
The Taker culture believes that the world was created for them so therefore they can do whatever they
want to it without any consequences.The idea that man believes he rules the world is not only false but
its constantly causing harm to the planet, Quinn uses a lot of metaphors to try and explain what the
takers are doing wrong and what should be fixed. An example would be the jellyfish story,the point of
the jellyfish story is to show that man is not the final product of evolution. In Ishmael s story, the
jellyfish tells the anthropologist a factual account similar to the narrator s, except that its version ends
with the appearance of jellyfish.
Ishmael s point is that human culture operates under a creation myth where man is the climax of
evolution even though the universe continues to develop and evolution is still occuring, man assumes
that the Earth was made for them, since they were its ultimate creation and final product. The narrator
then concludes that the premise of the Taker s story is that the world was made for man (Quinn) (61).

The theories of reasoned action (TRA) and of planned behavior (TPB) were developed by Icek Ajzen
and Martin Fishbein in 1967 and 1988, respectively (Madden, 1992, 3 4). TPB is a revision of TRA
that was made after Ajzen and Fishbein identified and addressed gaps in the TRA model. TRA is
designed to predict voluntary behavior but when Ajzen and Fishbein accounted for the fact that not all

accounts for deliberate, planned behavior: the decisions make when people have time to make
